They always have interesting promotional tables set up in front of the store with special deals and "Heather's Picks" (I don't know who "Heather" is, but apparently Chapters/Indigo thinks she is the queen of books so who am I to argue..). It's a well organized store despite its size, and fairly simple to navigate. I particularly like their little impulse-buy gimmicky gift selection, and rarely walk out of there able to resist buying at least some small gadget that I'll never use. From the mall entrance, it seems like a small location but there's a fairly large selection. It's almost TARDIS-like, this store. Inside, you'll find the usual Chapters/Indigo selection of books but in a smaller (and oddly better organized) structure. There's usually a fair selection of good deals. I'm also often fascinated with their range of selection of gifts. Lots of fun little trinkets that I haven't found at any other division of Chapters. We quickly make some excellent choices for gift wrap and ribbon, and he properly suggested that I have a cup of coffee across the street while they took care of the four packages I brought in. They were friendly, courteous, and easy-going and they are also efficient in the Gift wrapping. When I came back from my coffee, they rang my order up, and I was surprised that the cost of the wrapping and the paper was minimal. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a gift wrapping or stationary or candles or writing instruments. It's a very nice neat, cozy and friendly place to shop. It's a small shop with a a few racks of cards, and an impressive amount of stationery fit into the space. There also seemed to be a wedding invitation consult going on at the time. The selection of cards spanned lots of events, although I just ended up going with a cute one with a blank interior. I have been going to this Bridgewater location ever since just after the store opened and the staff…read moreknow me very well we all tease and joke around with each other I bought tons from them over the years and even sold to them they made a lot of money off me but this new manger had it in for me from the start ever since I confronted him about his insulting lowball offer of $30 on a vintage 1990's component system that he had a one second smirk on his face so HE KNOW it was a insulting offer. When I told him that my health isn't good he shows no sign he even cared. Then today without warning he kicked me out of the store for what? I was joking around with one of the staff no worse then I always do and I said one thing to another worker " I guess the manger don't want to sell me that stereo" that's what this new manger calls rude and breaking his rules. To makes things worse the manger didn't want me to be talking to other customers but the only time I ever did that they started talking with me first so I got in trouble but they didn't Don't get me wrong I have no problems with the staff themselves but the new manger is very rude and mean. I will edit this review only when the new manger says he's sorry to me(In person and in front of everyone in the store) and lets me back in the store Because I did nothing wrong. If I'm on vacation and I spot a Winners or a Marshalls, I'm going in, haha. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. I saw several items that were selling for more than they were in Ottawa (where I'm living now). Selection was also not great. Things looked like they had been picked over. I walked away empty handed. If I find myself back in the area, I'll still stop in, but definitely would not go out of my way to return to this location. There's lots of free parking in the plaza.
