It looks fantastic, and based on price, aesthetics, and the speed at which they completed the job, I am giving them a well deserved 5 stars. As for Christopher C. and Toni C. reviews, it seems unfair to double-post negatively, as both reviews represent ONE job that Ebert Fence may or may not have worked on (it says they're both in Florida so I'm a little skeptical). This place is awful!!! I had them in to repair my fence that broke when Hurricane Sandy hit. They repaired it, however a week later when someone sneezed near the fence it starting blowing down. Okay okay, well it wasn't a sneeze but must have been a gust of wind. The repair was horrible. I called them several times and finally got them on the phone. I was told they used nails that weren't big enough!!! They said they would come back and fix it but they never did. Then I heard a sob story about how there truck was in an accident so it would be further delayed!! I waited a month and nothing!!! I called back several times and only get the answering machine and have not called back. I blame myself for not checking them out first. It will not happen again. Don't ever use these clowns, they do crap work and will not call you back once you have paid. I learned my lesson. read more

I needed new fence and gate on one side of my backyard, which has old wood fencing that was starting to fall apart. I started looking for contractors to come and give me quotes. I asked Ebert Fencing to come on a Saturday morning, but something came up and I had to cancel, I asked them to come the Thursday evening prior. They did come, measured and provided a very competitive quote. I decided to hire them, they needed 1/3 of the total cost. I asked if I could pay that with a credit card, I'm skeptical to pay with cash for these kinds of things. They don't accept cards, but I didn't decided to give them a chance and paid the down payment in cash. They came the following Saturday and completed the job, took about 4 and a half hours. The workers were extremely nice and did a wonderful job. Not only did they install the new fence and gate, they also broke down and took away the old fence and cleaned up! My front stair railing had been broken for a while and I was lazy about fixing it. I broke my foot and am now using crutches, so having a secure stair railing was now an immediate necessity. Henry came to look at it in the morning and within a few hours had his team was there to repair it for me. He was very friendly and the team worked quickly. I give this company one star because no stars is not optional. My husband hired this company to fix our fence after Hurricane Sandy. WHile they did fix our fence it didn't last long. Areas began falling down after normal wind. My husband tried multiple times to reach the company to fix their error and he just got excuses and then nothing. The crew that installed my porch railing had horrible workmanship. They were supposed to make two identical railing sections. What I got was one section with 12 spindles and the other with 13 spindles. One post is right against the house and The other is 2 inches away. The worst part was the owner Henry Ebert took my money and blew me off when I called about the problem. I'm still waiting to hear from him. read more

We had our fence & railings installed by the ebert crew in july or aug 2015.They were reasonably priced,showed up on time, polite & most importantly when they left it was like they were never there. After we had a big wind storm in april 2016 the fence came apart & we lost some of the capping on the decks, i called Henry. I told him my concerns because I have dogs. He sent his crew the next day to fix the fence but didn't have the caps.A few days later the caps & GLUE were left for me at my door!To me thats not just pride in their work/company but they truly have concern for their customers which is very hard to come by! This is the worst fence company I have ever dealt with. They put up a vinyl fence and two gates on my property. The gates they made were only 34" wide. When my landscaper tried to get his 32" and 36" machines through the gate, he was unable to do this. I called the company to tell them this, and one owner said that he would come and look at the situation. He never called me back and never showed up. I called again and spoke to a different owner and he blew me off, screaming at me that it was my fault because I did not ask that a larger gate be put into the contract. He called the landscaper stupid and refused to fix the problem yelling at me that it was not their fault, refused to even speak to me respectfully not letting me get a word in. I was appalled at his attitude. This is the worst person I have ever had to deal with as a consumer. I finally could not take his berating and hung up on him. He called back and said that he would fix the problem but that I was taking money out of his pocket. I was going to tell him that I would pay for a new gate but he just kept talking and ranting at me. I felt like someone was punching me in the face. How could this company remain in business with such a nasty owner. Don't use this company. They were a lot less than other larger and more reputable fence companies. Pay the extra and deal with a human being and not a maniac who obviously knows nothing about how to treat his customers. read more
