I have spent more time in the dentist chair than anyone ever should. I never new the dentist could be comfortable and relaxing. It starts as soon as you walk in the door and you are greeted with a smile from the receptonist, who happens to be Dr. Ebrahimian's wife. I was then offered water coffee and a very comfortable chair in the waiting room. It's hard for me to call it a waiting room it feels more like my living room. Photos of past patients, and of Dr. Max's family. They say first impressions are everything and after that first impression I was forever changed. Professionally I work for the Four Seasons, which everyone associates with five star service. Dr. Ebrahimian is the Four Seasons of dentist. I can't call the people that work in his office a staff, I call them family. When it comes to dental technology Dr. Max is unsurpassed. After the firs visit Dr. Max was able to calculate what it would take to correct my bite and improve my smile. I live in Hawaii and have always been on the lookout for a good dentist, on the islands there isn't to much to chose from. I gladly flew to California to see Dr. Max and have never been more happy with my teeth in all my life. People have asked why I was seeing a dentist in California when I live in Hawaii, and when I show them my Teeth they understand. I would never recommend any other dentist ever. Dr. Ariana and the entire team at Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry are heads and shoulders above every other dental office I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot. Dr. Ariana's genuine care and concern for my oral hygiene and holistic health was such a stark difference from past experiences it honestly caught me by surprise the first time. I was accustomed to getting a cleaning, a short lecture on flossing, and a pat on the back as I was shown the door. Dr. Ariana took the time to explain what she was seeing (bleeding gums) and why it was important to address the issue before it got worse. More to the point, she didn't just tell me to floss more but asked what I was doing already, gave suggestions as to what else I could do, tested the bacteria in my mouth and provided an individualized treatment plan to get me back on track. It took some time after years of neglect but I'm happy to say my gums and my smile are healthier than they've ever been. Given the transformation Dr. Ariana and I were able to achieve with my gums I'm now eager to start a new treatment plan to straighten my teeth and open up my airway! After doing a lot of research on dentists for my son, I felt that Dr. Ebrahimian would be someone who could help my son with his dental issues. I was also prepared to drive to Scott's Valley where they are located from Los Angeles. I called and talked to Dr. Ebrahimian's wife Tina ( who was sooo kind, thoughtful and understanding) and was told that I could send photos of my son's mouth and that she would have Dr. Ebrahimian look at them first. To me this was impressive because now a days people don't seem to care about what other people have to go through. Dr. Ebrahimian did call me back and was extremely helpful, patient, kind and genuine. He spent a lot of time discussing and advising on my son's dental issues with me. Although, he did not feel he would be able to help with my son's dental issues, he is a breath of fresh air for his honesty. As a medical professional, I feel that I am in a better place than most to judge a medical practice on the personal and professional sides of the business. Years ago, I was using a cheap dental insurance practice. I was never really satisfied, but it took them making a mistake on a procedure to motivate me to change. A friend recommended his dentist to me. The doctor was expensive and acted like he was a Ferrari mechanic. Although he was better than the cheap dentist, he did not live up to the legend that he was in his own mind. Some one in the field who had done some oral surgery on me offered me a referral to a bite specialist due to a problem I was having with my current dentist. To say that Dr Max and his staff far exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. About two years ago I came to Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry with a very complicated orthodontic case. I had previously gotten braces with western dental, who I regretfully let pull two of my teeth to fix a severe overbite/overjet. I began to regret this decision as I became aware of the impact this would have on the tongue space in my mouth (which affects breathing long term) and my facial profile, as well as having a very narrow smile. We took our 10 year old son to see Dr. Ariana when we decided to start looking into whether braces would be the solution to his bite problems. We couldn't be more happy with the decision to have a consultation with Dr. Ariana. Since then our son has begun the process of realigning his jaw and bite using orthotropics. We appreciate the care and attention that Dr. Ariana puts on the breathing and health concerns that come with sleep apnea. When our son was younger he had severe sleep apnea and we wanted to make sure that as we moved forward with addressing his bite that his airway was taken into consideration.
