And I had a lot of questions - All the girls that work there are sweet and professional as well ! I have been to MANY optometrists through the years. I have to say that Dr. Ebright was the best. I mean it really couldn't have been more simple. I have a tricky mono vision prescription, so to get both eyes balanced perfectly usually takes at least a couple tries with multiple visits. Not this time. Dr. Ebright actually nailed it on the first try, which has NEVER happened before. On top of that, the office staff were all friendly and efficient at their jobs. HERE The office is located in the two story building near Sutter with ample parking, you take the elevator up to the 2nd floor and their door is on the left hand side after the restrooms. I was greeted with a smile and had to fill out new patent paperwork which is normal if this is your first visit, I'm sure you can ask for that to be emailed or faxed. I was called back very quickly and Yvonne started my initial appt. and then I was met with the doctor and forgive me I cannot remember her name, it was not Dr. Ebright but she was amazing and very caring and really listens to you. Than I went to pick out my glasses and I'm a picky person (I have a big head and wide round face) so I need glasses to look good. They pulled so many for me to choose from and I finally found a pair that were sunglasses and look SOOOO CUTE! I can't wait to pick them up. They squeezed me in during my lunch break on the same day I called (I worked right across the street). Receptionist was straight to it (could be a little more friendly, acknowledge patients presence quicker and more welcoming but everyone has bad days or gets caught up with work, I get it). The young lady who did the couple eye tests before you see the doctor was so sweet, small compliments here and there, took time to ask questions to make the visit seem more personable and informed me of each test and it's purpose beforehand. Had my first eye exam with Dr Ebright today. I'd been going to a place in Oakland for years and never loved the service there but continued out of habit. Now that's I've moved to Vallejo I found Dr Ebright through Yelp and wow what a great change! She has a friendly demeanor and seems to truly enjoy her job. She cares about getting things right. She went back and forth several times with different options for lenses for me and took the time to explain what she was doing and how things work in the eye. She gave me samples of some different eye care products I'd asked about. I found a new pair of glasses as well as prescription sunglasses at a reasonable price and went home with a second option for contacts to try out before purchasing a new supply. I will only be in Vallejo for a few months but will absolutely recommend Dr Ebright to anyone looking for vision care. When I return to the bay area in the future I will definitely come back to this office. read more

I just went in Monday for my exam and to pick out glasses and I got a message saying they were back already!?!? I'm so excited! So I've been wearing glasses since I was in the womb basically and I have astigmatism in both eyes and other crap that makes me blind. So my last prescription was all wrong and she took her time and made sure I was able to see clearly and her team helped me pick out some cute frames! Dr. Ebright is exceptionally caring, nice, and knowledgeable, and all the members of her staff were Grade A also! From my 1st call, I was impressed because not only did the receptionist have patience with me, but also was professional and called me back (which usually doesn't happen for me) for more information after some research, and then called me back again after finding the answer! Then another young lady ran preliminary eye tests on me and was friendly and professional and seemed to like her job. Then Dr. Ebright went over the tests with me and was so caring & informative that I could hardly think of anything to ask her at the end, which is the opposite of 99% of "doctors" I've seen who say as little as possible & try to get out the door before I can ask a question. Then I was helped by another nice young lady who was very professional & pleasant to me even though I tried on probably more than 20 pairs of glasses that I couldn't help her put back because there's no way I could remember where they came from.
