He was borderline harassing me to call for a quote and when I had my husband call he said that he couldn't take on the work because he didn't have time. He stole my number off of his caller ID and wrote it down and passed it along to another company without my permission after my husband hung up on him when he recommended another contractor and when my husband asked if they had a yelp page and if they had reviews he said they had bad reviews because of the algorithm. Then this other company started texting and calling me. I can find my own contractors with good reviews thank you very much. If you don't want the work then please stop harassing me. We hired WPC for a complete backyard redo, including tearing out the previous owner's failed…read moreattempt at growing grapes with a complex garden system. We needed a pool/massive hot tub, full yard decking, lighting, solar system, and some unanticipated yard redesign. They handled every detail regarding each project along the way including the painful permit and inspection requirements. They never buckled and dined us, even when there was some opportunity for design changes, surprise yard changes, painting areas not even in the contract. There was never a haggle or conversation other than, don't worry, we will take care of it. I never heard about it again. Now the projects are complete, they are still following up and coming by to make sure of our happiness. It was such a positive experience, especially because we travel a lot, and we're gone for stretches of time - but not once had to worry. They always kept their word every step of a multi month long job, to where I never worried once about them delivering the next step, or even had to follow up with them. I can't recommend them enough, and tell all my friends about finally having a great experience from a service provider, that was wrought with heavy potential stress points. I needed a new lawn and got my standard five bids for the job. Michael stood out for all of his…read moreinitial input on the options and then for the details of his bid. He was the only one who detailed every item involved in the bid, including update of irrigation. I've had issues in the past with bids for other projects that I assumed included the little details but didn't and then I had to pay extra. Michael's bid included every detail in writing that you would assume would be a part of a new lawn job and it was very reasonable. He also showed up on time for the initial appointment! His crew was great! Their work was very detailed and clean. The job was done within three days and all of the work area, including the driveway, was cleaned up. They even noted my falling-apart fence gate so Michael gave me a very reasonable quote and they did a great job fixing it for me. There were a lot of details for after-care and I've texted Michael multiple times to confirm. He texts back quickly and I never get the impression he's annoyed (I've sent a lot of texts!). I almost wish I had more yard renovations so that I could hire him again! I did discuss a whole-yard mulch job and will absolutely hire Michael when I'm ready for that. No more getting multiple bids for future yard renovations. I'll just call Michael.

We had our design done through Armstrong Garden Center and I liked their design but the bids we were getting with their landscapers were a lot higher than Michael's bid. Also, he was very knowledgeable. He came to do our estimate and we were impressed with his explanation about how he was going to run our water and electrical. No one else who came to give a bid gave a good solution or just didn't know how to do that. So the combination of a good bid and confidence in his knowledge of landscaping made this an easy choice. But best of all, he and his crew delivered on everything that was in the design plus things we decided to add. Now we actually enjoy being in our garden. Thank you!
