Honestly one of the worst decisions I ever made regarding salons. Her communication skills are not…read moreup to par. When I entered her establishment she did not greet me. She did not listen to me nor what I required for my hair. She kept oddly debating me about keratin treatments. It's never that deep. I was very dissatisfied with my hair results. Then she said that what she decided to with MY HAIR looked better than what I WANTED! He kept emphasizing the volume and density in my hair and wishing she had it. I asked for a roller set and a medium heat blow dry for a voluminous look. She gave me a moussed flex rod set. Curls were tighter than I wanted. Completely unprofessional. Don't recommend at all. I was there for over 3 hours. I genuinely don't think she knew what she was doing. She was using a hard brush and I had to ask for a softer brush. Ripping my hair. My hair was as stiff as ever. I can't wait to wash it out. These hair dressers nowadays don't specialize in hair care anymore. Very disappointed because I had higher expectations.

I requested an appointment and never heard back from the salon. What a horrible way to run a…read morebusiness. I was excited to try a new salon but never had the opportunity due to it being a poorly ran business. I made an appointment with another salon that was accepted. I suggest for others not to waste their time with this place. There are other salons that are eager for your business.

I'm really, REALLY touchy about my hair. It grows kind of slowly, and I've had bad experiences of…read morea new stylist lopping off way more than I asked them to do. So ... I moved to Odenton in July of 2017 and just now got a haircut! LOL I called at about 8:40 this morning, surprised to find that they open at 8. I asked for an appointment after noon, and she offered 1:30 - great. I did wait a few minutes for her to finish the client before me, but I could tell she really cares about giving the best possible result, which held true when she spent nearly an hour on my simple wash, cut & style. Sunny is just delightful to talk to, so I enjoyed my time in her chair. The only thing I specified was to keep my bangs just touching my eyebrows, and I am pleased with them being exactly right. I didn't give any other real direction, just shared that I don't like a lot of layers because I like to put my hair up when it gets hot. She told me, "You need a little bit of layers because it's thin," which is true and to which I agreed. Before the first cut, she held up the ends and showed me about 3/4" and said the splits needed that much to come off, and again I agreed. The end result, while not a style I can or would do myself except for special occasions (I don't curl my hair otherwise) is very flattering - my daughter and SIL said so! ;) I'll post an update in a couple of days, after I wash and blow-dry it myself - that is the real test, for me.

Sunny is classic. She has been here for years and can work on all types of hair. I walk in and ask…read morefor a cut with chunky layers, texture and style. Wham, bam. Done. She makes me look good. I can't do that with very many stylists. I don't need to tell her which way my hair parts. She knows. She can feel my hair out. They also tag-team it when blow drying so it's super fast. I feel pampered. They even tag-team it when they do permanent hair straightening (I like my waves and won't do it to my hair) but that is why it's cheaper than other places...because they're faster. And if feels like my grandma's house. Can't beat it.
