    Chicken Fajitas

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We were seated immediately, and service was good at first, but there were a few times when we had to wait for hot sauce, extra salsa, or something else. However, I enjoyed the food. The chicken burrito bowl and chicken fajitas were good. The fajitas are served with rice and beans. I used black beans instead of fried beans. The food was delicious, and their salsa was fresh. Their top shelf margarita was delicious, and I recommend you try it! Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant. I just wish their service was a little better so we didn't have to call our server's attention a couple of times for things. Check out the photos of the location and food below!

Traveled into town & heard from a family member to try them out. It was a Monday night, an hour before closing. Staff welcomed us right in. Our Waiter was very attentative & nice. Drinks were served pretty quickly & the margarita didn't disappoint!! Yummy! There were 5 of us and all were happy with their meals. 2 people asked for something not on the menu & the Cook got it just right. Their street tacos were delicious! Steak was cooked just right. Toppings/veg were fresh. Chips & salsa were were included, salsa was so good. We'll definitely try them out when we're back in town.

Some art work from our awesome waiter!

My husband and I come regularly, we love this spot! The food is amazing (we are from Texas so we are VERY particular when it comes to authentic Mexican food!) Erasmo is a best server, he is so kind and makes sure everyone has a great experience! Such a great place to stop and try!! The inside is great, but the patio when it's warm is our favorite spot!

The reviews I read before selecting Echalee are spot on. I was initially a little skeptical of the service, but it got better as the time passed. It seemed there were two waiters for the restaurant and ours seemed a little rushed, but he was also attentive and checked on us frequently. Once we ordered (that delay was all me... the menu is lengthy and choosing was a challenge) our meals arrived quickly. The taco shells were fried to a golden crisp and filled nicely with beef, lettuce, tomato and cheese. The side of black beans and rice was a nice addition to the tacos. The dinner plate of taco, burrito and enchilada was described as "really good!" While inside was pleasantly calm and conducive to conversation, the temperature inside was too cold for this girl! Overall, we left very full and quite happy with our choice of restaurant and our meals. Gracias Echalee!

Sooooooo good! Me and the bf were overdue for a date night and to say that we love Mexican food is an understatement. The service was fast, the margaritas were strong, the corona was ice cold and the food was delicious! As soon as we sat down the waiter brought us chips and salsa which were fresh and not greasy and thin like some restaurants. We both ordered the combination platter with a burrito, taco, chalupa and enchilada. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because they gave us 2 enchiladas instead of a burrito. My bf ordered beef and and I got chicken. They actually gave us both one beef and one chicken enchilada which at first I was going to send back because I didn't really want beef but after tasting it I wasn't too upset. Next time I'll make sure I get exactly what I ordered cause I was really looking forward to the burrito with rice and beans. The chalupa also didn't look like a chalupa. They gave us a hard fried tortilla topped with beans, sour cream and lettuce. Not sure what that was supposed to be but it paired well with the enchiladas. Overall the atmosphere is chill and we'll definitely be back. There are so many other items I want to try.

Love echalee! Try the street tacos and the empanadas! (Not the best picture because it was a screenshot from a video) but the ingredients here are so fresh compared to similar restaurants! Check it out!

Great lunch spot and pricing was fantastic. Enjoyed the street tacos very much. The chorizo queso was delicious.

The menus were tattered and many dishes reeked of "Mexican " food made for tourists. I asked lots of questions and had to switch to Spanish because the servers were not very conversant in English. All of their answers were vague. Finally, I settled on the mole enchiladas and a friend got a burrito. Let me tell you. That sauce is not mole, and the sauce for the burrito appears to have come from a can. For the high prices, there was not even the usual half-hearted sad sack plop of rice and beans to accompany the dishes. Then there was the service which was grudging and sullen. The place was clean, but smacked of a tourist's idea of what a Mexican restaurant interior should look like. The menu claims that they are the home of a "two draft beers for the price of one" deal. It's not a deal. It's the same price for the two as it is for a large glass. That's a sneaky gyp. The owners claim on the menu to be from Mexico serving authentic food. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. There is much better Mexican food in Tallahassee than this rot. The only saving grace was the flan which was actually pretty good.

The bar top had a phone and stack of menus along with employee cell phones charging that had to be moved for me and other patrons to sit. The food was very tasty and a good size portion. The only thing I did not care for was the complimentary salsa as it lacked flavor and was watery. I tried the pineapple jalapeño margarita which was very tasty and had a bit more kick than i thought it would have which was fine with me. Service was prompt and courteous.

Located at the corner of Thomasville Rd and East 7th Avenue at the convenience store near Midtown Caboose. We stopped by for a quick afternoon snack, and our tacos were absolutely stacked! The service was top notch and they offer cute little outdoor shaded picnic tables so you can save your vehicle upholstery from wearing your meal. Be sure to get them "con todo" with cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onion, street corn, and guacamole salsa. These tacos were a perfect balance of spicy heat and cool freshness. They make everything by scratch daily. ‼‼Holy Frijoles‼‼ it was definitely another praiseworthy food experience! Come Back Tacos... can I get an Amen?

Ordering is done through a tablet, which means simple customizations aren't an option. My friend wanted a cheese quesadilla, but the system forced us to order it with meat at the same price point, which was disappointing. The food took at least 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, my chicken tacos were overly salty and drenched in liquid/grease, making the flour tortilla soggy. My taco meal came with chips and salsa but the salsa appeared to be premade from a jar like Tostitos Chunky Salsa. While I'm glad I gave it a try and respect the effort, the inability to modify orders and the extended wait time make it hard to justify a return visit, especially if you're on lunchtime and have a time constraint.
