Do not move to these apartments. They're over priced and you'll have to deal with fees and zero customer service. Once Echo took over these apartments (formally Alta) this place has gone down hill. There is no parking for residents. If you ever want guest over tell them to park at Kroger's because their car will be towed if you don't enter their vehicle into the app that never works. Maintenance response time is a snails pace. They're so stingy about their cheap key fobs. I had to go back several times to get one only to be given one that doesn't do everything it's supposed to do. There is a constant odor in this general area. They sell you on the idea that a mall is down the street that isn't there!!! That's why this place is so pricy. The pool is filthy and never open during major holidays. The "gated" community you pay for is not gated if the gates never so they leave them wide open. The only reason this place has positive reviews is because they emailed us to leave a 5 star review for credit off of our next months rent. So all the 5 star reviews are B.S. I've only stayed here for so long because my job is close to these apartments. But trust me I have and actively looking for a house to live at. Save yourself the headache. At these prices you might as well get a house. The idea of saving from not having to maintain a place is not worth the headaches you'll have from dealing with the "service" here. Baytown! You're better off living in a crack house than living here. The office personnel have the combined IQ of a pencil, nothing ever works properly (ie the gate), fraudulent charges on your billing every month, high crime area, bill you for "pest control" but there's never anyone spraying inside or outside of the area, a tenant had a huge oil leak from their vehicle in the parking lot and the offices way of cleaning up the parking lot was to put cat litter on it and let it sit there for months until the rain washed it away. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I've lived here for 15 long excruciating months (finally moving out in a few days), and let me tell y'all this place is an UTTER CLOWN SHOW! The gates never close, because they're always broken. People get their cars stolen EVERY SINGLE DAY. Mail is stolen from the mail room. There's not enough parking, so people make their own parking and then end up getting towed. Funny how they're more concerned with TOWING than SECURITY. Desiree, Amy, and Megan in the front office are as WORTHLESS as they come. They get snarky and loud when you address issues. The office workers refused to give me the management companies information after repeatedly being asked. However, due to the brains I was blessed with I was able to research and find it myself. I literally wash my face and brush my teeth with bottled water. Save your money and time. Do NOT move in here! You've been WARNED!! Also FYI: the management here enters people into a drawing every month when you leave a "good review" on Google, so don't be fooled into believing those reviews. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK!! My brother got his car towed after spending less than 24hrs with us... due to the tornado his house had no power, no heat. He was not in a reserve, nor in a handicap. When I asked the ladies in the office why he got towed when I had visitors prior Desire said they were "Lucky" they didn't get towed. No remorse... $321 for just a few hours. I have lived in this complex for going on 4 years and I really love it. I feel that I get my money's worth in the functions, amenities and care that is put into my unit and the property. I have had a couple maintenance issues and they are courteous, professional and most important timely. My issues were resolved to my complete satisfaction. We have had a couple of management companies and I feel this one is the best. There are rules (guest parking passes for example) that aren't super convenient but it keeps the property accessible and fair for everyone... and now there is actually parking available! I am proud to call this apartment home and just renewed my lease. Thanks to the staff for all that they do. read more

This place is a joke! Gates are always broken and management could care less about helping out. You have to register your guest with a virtual permit and only get one permit. If the app to register isn't working and the vehicle gets towed they don't care. They told me well don't let them park here. Where else is my guest supposed to park!? This place is awesome I've enjoyed living here and everything that comes along with it! They're always giving away useful items to the community, also the people who live here are awesome and friendly, we've met quite a few people who are like family to us. Wouldn't have chose any other place. Awesome rates and well updated appliances, also maintenance crew is extremely on point. Ever since the Alta Baytown has changed to Echo Baytown, the apartment have been a disaster. The gate never work, nor do they ever try to fix them. The last management always had our gates working and if there was ever a problem with them, the were fixed right away & WE WERE NOTIFIED.They charge us every month for pest control yet when we make several request to have pest control come to our unit, we NEVER get a response. They have changed our parking rules stating that every vehicle that enters the premises has to be documented on the parking app, this includes our guests. Like seriously who has time for that? They constantly have our pool closed, we pay for these amenities to be open year round, and never give a notice on when it back open. Not to mention, my husband has had to threaten to call corporate on them just to have our maintenance request done. RPM management is a joke. Just don't move here or to any RPM properties in general! If I could give them a negative rating, I honestly would. Prices have also gone up on these apartments and it's honestly not worth it with shitty management. We planned on renewing our lease but after the management change, we decided to go else where. read more
