I used their carpet cleaning service a few years ago and I am really surprised at how much worse it has become. I scheduled next day carpet cleaning with them at 9 am. and I also told them that I have 4 carpeted bedrooms and a few rugs. The owner gave me an estimate of $250, which was a good price. However, everything went badly after that. I took the morning off on the cleaning day, so I'd expect them to be on time. But no, no one showed up. I waited until 9:19 and called the owner, and got no answer. His voice mail was full so I couldn't even leave a voice mail. The owner never called me back after missing my call. On 9:35, the technician finally called and told me that he was working at another house and he'd come to my house at around 10:30. Although feeling upset, I still kept waiting since I already took the morning off. Yet still no-show. I called the owner a few more times and he finally answered his phone on 11:42. On the phone, he told me that the technician--who just called me about working at another house--was sick. I felt I was fooled, but he promised that he'd send a new technician on 2 pm. Based on his good reviews, I changed my afternoon arrangements and kept waiting. Yet again, no one showed up at 2 pm. I called the owner and once again no answer. At 3 pm, the technician finally showed up. I thought I could finally get this over with, but no. The technician took a look at my house and told me that $250 was not enough; he wanted extra charge for every rug and $630 in total. I felt totally scammed and wanted to cancel, but he told me the cancellation fee was $99, which was never mentioned by the owner or any of the reviews. I discussed with him and called the owner, who offered no help. After more argument, the technician gave me an offer of $400 and I took it to get this over with. During cleaning, the technician told me that he was from a different company and Echo Carpet Services subcontracted my project to his company. Moreover, Echo Carpet services didn't tell him about my project until that afternoon and never told him about the $250 estimate we had agreed upon. To sum up, I got a few no-shows and spent the whole day waiting; the owner rarely answered his phone and never called me back on missed calls; I paid $400 when the estimate was $250, and the owner subcontracted my project to another company without letting me know. Overall, I had a terrible experience and felt scammed. read more

They took the time to vacuum every part of each couch cushion before cleaning, put up corner guards so that their hoses didn't scuff our baseboards, and also made sure not to drag their hoses along our hardwood flooring. read more

Zero stars. Made an appointment for 9am for three area rugs. He showed up at 10:20. He noted some stains - which is why I was getting the rugs cleaned (duh). He said he couldn't get the stains out completely - I said that's fine - I didn't expect perfection. Charged me extra for enzyme cleaner but it made the stains much WORSE. I reported this and I arranged a second visit for yesterday to try to fix the stains. No show. I texted and he said he didn't remember setting up the appointment. Terrible. Hagay was very nice and quick to respond via Yelp. He quoted me the lowest so I went with him. His employee showed up on time but unfortunately something with the van wasnt working so he had to reschedule to 2 days later. When he arrived, he also explained that price was more because I had 2 stories (make sure you are detailed when getting a quote) At the end, they ended up honoring the original quoted price. Hagay was very thorough and made sure to spend more time on stains. He said my carpet overall was in great condition so did it in an eco friendly way, with some shampoo, vacuum and steam. He only added a product to my lower staircase and cleaned by hand because of more traffic. He was very honest, polite and used foot covers. Family owned business. The whole process took about an hour and cost me $225 for 5 rooms and 2 sets of stairs (13-14 steps is considered one staircase) Definitely recommend for your deep cleaning carpet needs! read more

Came on time, in a rusted beat-up ford van, was not the owner. Did not use any corner guards. Solution was not hot, did not have their own water supply, and also left dirty water on my driveway. Left dirty blanket behind and took my faucet away when done. Result? may be my carpet wasn't that dirty and did not seems any cleaner. Not understand why such high rating. Changing it to one star. They were available same day, which isn't necessarily a red flag, but as it turns out maybe it was. They arrived on time and were in and out in a respectable amount of time. The carpets looked good when they left, however that next day some older stains started to come up. Even ones that had been previously treated (years ago) and weren't visible prior to them cleaning. I called and they answered right away and said the technician would call me Monday (since it was the weekend). He didn't call, but showed up ready to see the spots. By then it had been 4 days since they were here and the carpets looked as though they had not even been cleaned! The technician then tried to spot clean the worst stains with a spray and a scrub brush and said to call him the next day if I was still unpleased. He was here for about 5-10 mins. He basically made excuses about the difficulty of pet stains. Keep in mind that I paid extra for "deep cleaning" of these pet stains. I realize that most stains do come back after time - usually a few weeks in my experience. I have had other companies clean my carpets and they looked good for at least a couple of weeks before the stains started to reappear (and that is without the up-charge of the deep cleaning, mind you). I expected similar results from this company but that wasn't the case. There was no way that showing up to spot clean a few stains was going to fix the situation. I lost confidence they could actually do a good job and also didn't appreciate their disrespectful tone, so decided not to have them out yet again. I don't need to be treated like that. Wouldn't recommend due to poor results and lack of professionalism. read more

Avi came to clean a sofa and rug. He did an okay job, but was nice enough to offer to come back if the sofa needed more cleaning (it was hard to tell once it was wet). It turned out that the cushions were not clean, so I scheduled him twice to come back, and he failed to appear both times. This is my first poor Yelp review. I truly support businesses when they do a good job but our experience was not. I went with Echo because of the fantastic reviews & maybe with carpet they are great, but tile was another story. We paid for tile flooring cleaning of our main area and bathrooms our grout was really bad, pretty much black and normally a light gray. We were quoted $931 to clean and reseal the grout with a water based sealer. Fast forward to cleaning day, they show up and we get talked into upgrading our service to an acrylic based sealer. We agree, and now we're at an $1,800 service fee. They had to come back the next day because they needed to get the color for the acrylic sealer. They come the next morning & are at the house for several hours. I come home super excited to see our "new floors" as promised and it looked as if a kindergartner didn't know how to color within the lines. The sealer was all over our tile, and they told us they would come back in the morning and fix it (another inconvenience since we were moving in the next day with all our furniture and wanted this done prior). He comes back and every 5 minutes of cleaning is asking us if it's good while we're trying to move in... you guys are the experts! You should know if it's good work or not I shouldn't have to look over your shoulder and tell you every 5 minutes. We leave to go pack our UHaul and come back maybe 2 hours or so later. I come up and still soooo many marks on our tile. I take the liberty to blue tape every spot that needed to be fixed since he wasn't understanding what's acceptable and what's not. After spending a lot of time (that I didn't have in the middle of moving) taping as much as I could I finally had to stop and continue moving in. (I took video of how many places I taped as a problem but Yelp won't let me post the video so I took a couple screenshots from the video). He also took $100 off because he damaged our brand new baseboards we had installed a day before with cleaner. Another hour later he asks me to come check, I pointed out another several spots that needed to be fixed, I was so over it at this point and needed to get my uhaul returned so I paid the additional $700 and said we're good. I do want to say, the guy who worked on our place was extremely kind and made sure that I knew he would make it right, however it was too exhausting to keep telling someone what the problem was for a service you weren't even originally going to get. I also told him at the time of quote I was getting multiple quotes and he sold me on how good of a job they do and "I'd be calling them back to fix another competitors job". Well, looks like I'll be calling your competitor to fix your job in the end and we paid a good chunk of money to be so disappointed. That night we all were walking around barefoot, and all of our feet were black! Every night we walk around with shoes because the floors are still dirty. After settling in a bit we decided to take our Shark steamer and see how bad it is. I've attached photos and our mop pad is black on both sides just from steaming a small area... we paid $1,700 for our floors to still be dirty and us to clean them and I'm talking DIRTY, grout sealer to be on the tile and out of the grout lines... this is why I had to write this review. I love paying people and complimenting them for a job well done but this was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend for tile/grout work. Avoid the nightmare! I gave 2 stars because the guy was super nice and our grout is better & no longer black, just not worth the $1,700 we paid. You wouldn't even know we just got our floor cleaned. read more
