A/C didn't work and they told me they were going to change it out on the mobile unit we were in but they didn't. Was waiting around my whole trip for them to come and fix it eventually they just didn't come and didn't bother to tell me. It was site 157 and mobile trailer number 11. So if you get this one good luck. They are going to tell you that during the summer time this will happen. But what they didn't know I was there were with other people that rented out 8 units and they didn't have this problem. read more

We have stayed here a couple times now and use their storage yard as well. Management is friendly. Sites are very nice as well. Activities for the kids at the splash pools, plus a bar for the adults with food. Beach is nice as well for those on beach front sites. Only thing I would say could be improved would be the launch ramp. Other than that it is a fantastic place to be. read more

Been coming to Echo annually for over 25+ years, this is one of my favorite summer vacation spots. Pros: Best scenic location on the river, they have a small market onsite to buy groceries, ice, and beverages, they have an indoor bar (Club Paradise) open on the weekends with outdoor swimming pools that are great for kids, and they have waterfront spots with electricity, cable TV, and sewage hookups and you can anchor your boat right in front of your spot, also trailers are available to rent if you don't have one. Cons: Price is more expensive than other campgrounds, it's also popular so It can get really packed on weekends, especially holiday weekends, cell phone reception is scarce, there is no public wifi access, and the showers/restrooms are probably the biggest drawback to Echo. The bathrooms are not air conditioned so during the summer it's like you're using the restroom in a sauna with flies, and while functional they aren't the cleanest facilities. My recommendation is to avoid the public shower/restroom and use your camper/trailer instead and you'll have a great time. If I could change anything about Echo I would tear the bathrooms and showers down and completely redesign them to be air conditioned with modern equipment and style. (solar cells on the roof could help offset the air conditioning costs). I would make sure they are cleaned multiple times a day and I would also offer wifi access for free to guests or as an extra minimal fee. Those two changes alone would make Echo Lodge Resort perfect and five stars. read more

let me start by saying echo lodge at parker is a beautiful place to take your family for a wonderful vaca ... however the management there at echo lodge is less then minimal it's unprofessional and very rude to visitors they need to work on their professionalism and hospitality to the ones who make the place run and bring in profits to the campsite ... the second night at the campsite we had our black sewer waste pipe overflow with sewage as we were in the middle of cooking dinner right in front of us .... we spoke to the manager she was very unconcerned and very rude no people skills ... just be warn about speaking to someone about issues because you will be ignored or make you pissed ... read more

My family & I have been coming here for many years. We used to rent trailers from them, but I must say everything everyone has said about the trailers is accurate, so we then started renting trailers from river rv rentals. They go and set it up for you. It's great. We love coming here, but the past few summers we have noticed their bathrooms need a lot of TLC. They are serious disgusting. I can't walk in there without gagging, so showering there is a no. Ladies with long hair...good luck washing your hair in those trailer showers. Don't bother notifying the front office because "they know" and seem like they don't care. The new owners are not personable at all. Other than the bathroom situation & new staff, the place is a great spot on the river for families. Especially if you have little ones. The beach area is nice for kids to play around. read more

We booked well in advance for two spots Together, and were promised specific spot numbers. When we got there they did not honor the reservations for that. They Clearly said they had Cable TV, but we just found old cut cables. WiFi was also said to be available, but No such service on arrival. Expensive- $70 PLUS $20 (Reservation Fee). We stayed here last summer and had a much better experience than we did this summer. We rented an rv and it was... let's just say in less than gently used condition. Aside from the uncomfortable beds, the AC went out in the middle of the night, the propane tank was leaking, the fridge was more of a freezer since the freezer door had been yanked off leaving the freezer open to the rest of the fridge (everything that was on the top shelf, under the freezer, froze solid... mustard, butter, cucumbers... everything), and the bathroom door was missing a hinge, and the PORCELAIN TOILET clogged. We were able to get a man out to fix the toilet but were out of luck on all other complaints. $515 for a giant shit hole on wheels. All of this would have been been ignored and chalked up to just the way of the river had their staff at the bar/grill not been so dang rude and USELESS. They actually picked an choose when they would serve us. We wanted breakfast and they closed the breakfast menus 20 minutes early. The next day, we care for lunch and guess what... they hadn't finished cleaning the grill from breakfast (which was now being served half an hour later than the day before)?! They kept saying "10 more minutes" while they talked amongst themselves (the cook and the server) about whether or not some mutual friend of theirs was out of jail yet. We never did get service after a few times being told to wait for them to finish cleaning the grill we just left. They clearly didn't care nor need our money. Last summer we had great service and no complaints about our site either... just something for the current management to think about (if they even care). read more

Iv been coming here for a few years now it's a great place. However I recently rented a trailer from them to camp in and the Air Conditioning did not work, there was a propane leak the place smelled like propane, the floor was covered in sand, the trailer smelled like a sewer. It was disgusting. I notified the management of the problems on the 1st day. They never offered to get me another trailer to stay in. Also the last day I used their public restroom and there was sewage all over the floors. They charged me $515 and offered me a free night stay on my next visit. I was never able to talk to Phil the owner. I was only able to speak to the lady at the counter at the Echo Lodge store. read more

This is the first time staying here. We rented a travel trailer right on the water. We could walk from the trailer to our boat that was in the water, really great. They have full hookups if you want to bring your own rv.The only downfall about the trailer is the bed is not comfortable at all. Bring something to lay on the mattress so soften it. This is our first time staying at this location. This resort sets on a beautiful location on the river. It has a store,bar and a restaurant with fairy good food. The negative things about this park is horrible water pressure, no cable, wi-fi and disgusting bathroom facilities. We decided to move our trailer here after we had baby.. The place we were at before was perfect for the no kids wilder crowd.. and Echo lodge had room to store our trailer for the summer.. Echo lodge has a beautiful beach.. perfect for kids to play safe in the water.. it is well kept.. and even has a little dog park.. and a kid park.. and a beautiful swimming pool that is shallow where your kids can stand up and be safe.. I was really impressed.. Because after I had my son I was kind of worried about all the crazy drunk people .. even tho I was fun at one time But now I have to think about the a cute little human.. and this place i did not hear anyone screaming or loud music in the middle of the night.. But we also went on a Sunday and left on Tuesday.. I am definitely not the fun police.. but I did not have to worry about the current of the water.. or people hauling but threw the camp.. when your kid is running around.. and our Ac and water ran just fine.. read more

Although I enjoyed the stay here, unfortunately the time I went, there were still some old timers still around and one of them screamed at my son. The best time to go is after April 1 due to the younger crowd coming for spring break. I had some nice neighbors on one side and some old grumpy ones on the other. So extremely disappointed in Echo Lodge. My friends and family have called this place home every summer for the past 10 years! We always loved staying here because of the good people, great bar/pool and overall just a fun time! Unfortunately Echo Lodge has gone so far down hill we will no longer be calling this place our summer home. They change management way too often and we have kept our hopes high in thinking that the next new manager would turn this place around. Not so much. Everyone here is extremely difficult to get a hold of. They can't keep track of their books and payments. They are confrontational and rude (as I also read in a previous comment) they never update the park, and because of this you will have no power. We are definitely sad that we will no longer able staying here but can't stand the headache any longer! read more

Came in to check in. Didn't take my ID to check in. Asked for a cabana, didn't get one. Was suppose to get lot 116, didn't get it. Trailer was somewhat clean but the whole place smelled like poo. Be prepared to bring your own sheets, towels, and TP. Yeah, no sheets, only plastic covers on the mattress, which would be fine except the plastic was still dirty. Oh and nobody showed us how to turn everything on, luckily were a little more mechanically inclined than most people but it's the matter of fact that nobody made sure we were ok. read more

So glad I found this place. Just went for labor day weekend with the whole family and we all had a blast. everyone had such a great time. We had 5 beach front spots and rented 2 trailers. Im glad I read the reviews about the trailers so we came prepared. The scenery is so nice. They have everything you need in the store. We ate at the bar and grill and surprisingly it was good. Big portions. They could have used more employees for the busy weekend but they managed. Everyone was so nice. We will definitely be back. I only wish they had a place to rent boats and jet skis on the property. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We rented a trailer that was 15 - 20 years old and very run down. The A/C was not working in our unit and this is in July. So it was hot as hell. I immediately went to the front office and was told their was nothing they can do. I asked to be moved and they said they did not have another unit to put me in. John the so called manager came by the trailer and said he was going to fix the A/C by putting a new unit on the trailer. Also, he would refund us one night. Both never happened. This place is not worth it for the money. If I knew it was this bad, I would have stayed someplace else. read more

Never again! The management is beyond rude. The manger John and his wife Amey are extremely confrontational toward the paying customer. I have not ever witnessed anything like it before. The manager John who also runs the bar on the premises was working there while myself and my family personally witnessed him drinking/very drunk serving alcohol and even started screaming obscenities at a group that were in the bar playing pool. The manger/bartender walked up to the guy and ripped his drink out of his hand and screamed in his face. We felt so uncomfortable we left. I have friends that rented the Salem trailers they offer at the park and they were Very run down and falling apart and the air conditioning didn't work. The electrical hook ups in the park are dangerous to plug your trailer in to. Their public bathroom and showers are absolutely disgusting! It's too bad because Echo Lodge has a great spot on the river but they need more professional management that want to help the paying customer and keep the park clean. Overall they need to update the park. Very pricey for what they want to call a resort. read more
