I appreciated how the lady explained all the different products she was using, however I was quite disappointed in there being no extractions (standard for a facial) and was left with a sticky residue on my neck. It was also pretty pricey for what it was. While it was relaxing, I can't say I'll be back as I still have clogged pores/ blackheads. read more

I've seen Kimmer for some time now who is super knowledgeable about skin care and just nutrition in general for your body. Hands down my favorite facial I've ever had. I get the micro-needling which isn't the easiest facial to sit through but for me it's not too bad. I've seen a huge improvement in my skin. I had another facial with someone else when she wasn't available and I didn't see much difference in my skin. But every time I've seen Kimmer it's been a delight. Ugh, I was late! Kimmer didn't let that diminish my experience and took capable, calming care of me. As an intro facial client, she very quietly educated me on the products and ingredients she was using. It was like listening to a podcast - in a good way. I scheduled the 75min signature and wished I had done the 90 min. Kimmer is petite but strong with a fantastic massage technique when she gets to the reflexology part. I had 4 microneedling treatments done with Kimmer over the 6 months leading up to my wedding and it has CHANGED MY SKIN. I've never been more happy with the texture, tone and pore size. I first discovered Echo over a year ago via a Yelp Elite event and have been coming back since. the estheticians are professional and very accommodating to every request and very comforting to ones special needs. I keep coming back as the shop is calm, light filled, and exudes comfort. plus they offer services that even I can make work around my 8-4 work shifts. one of the most commonly used Echo beauty treatments I book is for their sugaring hair removal services. I had never been "sugared" prior to echo and one thing I noticed immediately was how painless the process was. I had only used traditional wax before and was surprised to know the sugar wax was a natural, 3-ingredient formula. one more thing that made me uber happy was the sugar wax was able to be showered away, no leftover wax residue clinging to the bottom of my shower or sticking to my clothing! I was introduced to Treatment by way of a gift certificate. I had bad (torturous) experiences with waxing and I hate shaving certain areas so I decided to try out the sugaring brazilian. First off you must understand that my skin is a thin, delicate thing that is very responsive to pain. I seriously get the shakes seeing hot wax from my first and only experience (and they were a well respected skin-care specialists.) I went to try sugaring with very low expectations, and was scared going in. I tell you this so that you understand what I'm about to write is a glowing review. The sugaring was painful, but bearable, and the results were wonderfully smooth and long lasting. There wasn't any blood with the sugaring like there was with the wax. Going on it was a lot less painful and it was a much quicker process. Jami was very professional in the face of my particular (and very vulgar) response to the initial pain. The first sugaring was the most painful, sub sequential treatments were far less painful for me (and far less vulgar for Jami.) Jami also helped me find a face creme that allows me to (finally) be able to wash my face without having a reaction. She really knows what she's doing, is professional and calm. I have never been waxed or sugared so I was pretty nervous thinking hair that's never been pulled out before isn't going to want to come out. It was a piece of cake. She also gave me advice and talked to me a lot about the plant-based line Laurel that is sold there, which is an amazing smelling (like a smoothie) all-natural skin-care line. Sugaring! Why is it so difficult to find sugaring services when one needs them? I just recently moved from Seattle, WA to Corvallis, OR (grad school!), and it's been difficult finding a sugarist-- which is strange since it's the natural alternative to conventional waxing.
