Nani has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. She always is on time and does a great job! I recommend Nani to anyone with short hair!

They messed up so horribly on my hair I got I buzz cut to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE. They also would not give me the managers number to file a complaint. Vibes, off, they let a dog who was whining the entire time inside. As well, made me pay for all of this. Incredibly frustrating I want nothing more than to explain to them that my appearance was my job. I have none now. read more

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hair salon. My first time going to Supercuts. Halfway through my haircut Marvin was asked a question by the stylist next to us, excused himself and literally and practically just started cutting the hair of the gentleman on the chair next to ours, not just for a moment or two, for an absolutely unreasonable amount of time completely abandoned what he was doing right in the middle of my haircut. i have never experience such rude modus operandi in any public service in my life. I got up, paid and left. I honestly should not have even paid. It is by far the most unprofessional behavior I have ever encounter. read more

I took a chance and made a last minute appointment. My stylist was Kyle and OH MY GOD. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made the right decision. For the first time, the person cutting my hair heard exactly what I was asking for. Not only was the cut great, we had good conversation and they were truly a kind and genuine person. Megan is hands down the best! I am currently 40 weeks pregnant and haven't had a haircut in a year. due to a high risk pregnancy I have to stay in Portland next to the hospital I will be delivering at. I decided on a whim after looking at all my split ends that it was defiantly time for a haircut before the baby comes (as I obviously won't have time for one for at least 6 months) I saw there was a super cuts near by and decided to book an appointment I was nervous as I obviously didn't know any of the stylists and I am a little picky about my hair and didn't want it cut too much just to get the dead ends off and freshen up the layers and bangs Megan did EXACTLY what I wanted my hair went from looking like a frizzy split mess to looking super cute now and healthy with minimal length loss!!!! i live about an hour and a half a way from Portland but will DEFIANTLY be coming for my trims and cuts to megan every time!!!! in my opinion megan is an asset to super cuts and they are lucky to have her! read more

I wanted to share the absolutely horrible experience I had at Supercuts Hollywood District. On my birthday I booked a haircut with a wash so I could go to lunch with a sick relative after my haircut. Megan was not at all happy that I had accidentally double booked and made a point to say to me that she would be stuck there all day til 5 because "someone" double booked. She had an attitude the entire time and was cold and withholding, meanwhile the other stylist, Kyle was warm and engaging with myself and his customers. Megan purposefully did a terrible job and at the end she yanked the hair cover off me so that every bit of my hair ended up in my lap and she did so with a big smile on her face. when I pointed out what she had blatantly done she blamed an air vent ten feet away. Again, all with a big smile on her face. She then motioned for me to go to the counter and pay. I told her she needed to clean all the hair off of me she just dumped on me. Reluctantly she half tried to clean me off with the blow dryer. I left covered in hair and had to skip my birthday plans to go home to shower because I was that covered in hair. Megan was upset and opted to take her frustrations out on a paying customer that has been coming to Supercuts for over a decade. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a haircut service. God forbid you get Megan as a stylist after she is mildly inconvenienced. read more

I'm incredibly inconsistent about everything in my life, with the exception of my hair. Once every two months I get highlights and a cut, then at some point in between I get a trim. I'm generally not picky about where I get a trim, so Supercuts usually works well for me. Everyone is always super friendly here. Recently remodeled, the Hollywood location is clean and modern, with plenty of comfortable benches if you have to wait. Patrons can phone ahead to schedule an appointment, and they usually are pretty good with starting appointments on time. The store has a wide variety of product available, and every stylist has their own favorite products and brands they'll try to promote. Sometimes it's convenient to grab what I need here, but the prices are generally a bit higher than what I'd pay elsewhere. read more

Just a standard below average Supercuts haircut. Cut too short and not a good blending job. Would not recommend.

Great same-day cuts at a great price! I called ahead this morning and made appointments for my two sons this afternoon, and I'm very impressed. I definitely feel like the stylist listened to what I wanted (and didn't want) with their heads of hair, and we're all happy with how their cuts turned out. Simple, no-nonsense, clean cuts in under an hour for $60 including tip.. both boys and I are satisfied so we'll definitely be back. read more

If you are going to shut down your location, take it off the Supercuts site and stop accepting appointments. The site says the Hollywood location is open on Sundays only. I booked an appoitment 5 days ago for today and 1/2 hour before the appointment I got an email it was cancelled. The phone number listed goes to a message saying the voice mail box is full. Ridiculous. Giving an extra star only because we had good experiences there before. read more

Joy is amazing! I have curly hair that I wear straight so I have to get dry cuts, I have had people insist on spraying my hair with water to cut it and it has completely ruined my hair in the past so I was hesitant to have my haircut. One day I went to this Supercuts with a friend who was having his hair cut and he convinced me to get my hair cut, so I talked with joy and explained what I wanted and my concerns and then got my hair cut. Scheduled an appointment for a haircut and was confirmed and when I pulled up later to map directions and it was canceled with no info. Much later I got an email of canceling with no information. How can they expect to do business if they randomly cancel appointments and have no regard for customers. Avoid them at all costs! read more

I could not afford the cost of my usual stylist ( who I adore), so out of dire necessity I decided to try Supercuts. It was easy to park, and I was the only client there, so there was no wait. I showed Joy a picture of the hair cut I wanted. And so she did it! Took about 20 minutes. I was happy with the result and the price. What amazes me is that I have been getting compliments everywhere I go. I think it really helped that I had the picture of exactly what I wanted to show her. I am going to go back for color. I always get really great haircuts here. I've gone to other more expensive places, but I always find myself coming back here. Just today I went in because I needed a cheap fix for a haircut I got on the other side of town and I felt so much better after I went in. The hairdressers always listen to what I have to say and deliver exactly what I want. They are helpful if you aren't sure what you want to do and I've literally never left the place feeling unsure of my new hair. Ive never had to go back for them to fix anything. read more

Ran in here to get my hair trimmed and blow dried. She did a great job and it wasn't too expensive. I didn't wait long. Except finding the place is a little difficult, so I would suggest driving into the Whole Foods parking garage unless you find a public place to park, which is free for two hours. I got a nice trim and straightened blow dry. I would recommend it! read more

I Love my Hair! I saw Jess Saturday morning, August 3rd and she did her usual excellent job and gave me the exact results I was looking for. I love my hair and I am not afraid to look in the bathroom mirror first thing in the morning. While my hair was processing, I had a chance to observe the other clients. I arrived at 10:40 for a haircut. I was the only one waiting. The stylist just finished cutting a girls hair. I know because she asked how it looked and spun her chair around so she could see the back. Then the stylist asked me for my phone number and said, "I have an appointment at 11am and you will have to wait". I asked why and she said she had to blow dry this girls hair first. I looked at the time...10:43. THEN SHE SAID THERE WAS ANOTHER PERSON COMING IN AT 11AM AND SHE WOULD TAKE CARE OF THEM AS WELL BEFORE ME. HUH? She can not blow dry her hair and cut mine in 17 minutes? Ha! That is BS. I have never been in the chair longer than 10 minutes. If these guys are gonna take appointments then they need to have more than one person cutting hair. I WILL FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO FROM NOW ON. read more

I don't remember the name of the woman that cut my hair. I'm sorry if you're reading this, I forgot. I should have written it down. You were great. I was in my head and kind of stand offish. You cut my hair great and were such an easy person to talk with. I will definitely be back. To touch on the haircut experience, I want someone that is friendly and easy to talk with regardless of my attitude at the time. She was all of this. She is also the woman that has worked there for 8 years if that helps in finding her for your next haircut. I have been getting my haircut at this Supercuts since they opened their doors over 12 years ago. In the past few years there has been a lot of turnover and for the most part I have been happy with the service and hair cut. However, today, I experienced a bad haircut coupled with unbelievably bad customer service. After very calmly stating that she had cut the side of my hair too short I was humiliated and accused me of calling her stupid in front of other customers. She did not even say she was sorry but rather blamed me for not telling her accurate information! I was dumbfounded! She proceeded to humiliate me by asking condensending questions and then not finishing my haircut. I was left with hair all over my face, no shampoo, no offer to stamp my Supercuts card and then she further argued with me at the register. It was a simple case of her providing extremely bad customer service. I will NEVER go back there. They have lost a customer that has provided them $1000's of revenue over the years. read more

After two OK haircuts I sent my son in for a cut. It was the worse cut of his life. Un even front sides and back. I have done a better job myself. Well I still had a few cuts left on my discount card and well...maybe it was a fluke so I went back to get my third cut. Now a different stylist proceeded to give me about the worse cut I've had in a long time. Butchered the job around ears and sideburns...repairable. Never again. I have only ever gotten my hair cut here since I was a little girl the staff is friendly and I can walk there pretty easily but this last experience was...terrible she cut my hair diagonally when I was getting it fixed she literally started laughing I was getting a lot cut off and getting layers touched up so it wasn't easy for them thee ok with just trims but I will be on the hunt for a new hair cut place. read more
