Nowhere on the website does it say that it was not offered during lunch. So anyway, I thought they had a cool decor inside and we sat at a high top near the bar. Update to my original review. Echo Tap and Grill has solidified its place on my list of favorite restaurants. We dined here on Father's Day and once again it was excellent. The pineapple stir fry is hands down a favorite for a reason. From the presentation to the hot delicious flavors. Along with that, the fried calamari, garlic shrimp, banging Banana, churros and wild berry spritz made the experience memorable. Our server Madison was so sweet, professional and attentive. Went out for girls night here for the first time. Atmosphere was great. Def a girls night type of vibe. Easy to access right off route 22. Plenty of parking. Seated quickly with good customer service. Plenty of space inside with bar and spacious seating area even during covid. Expansive menu with decent prices. Opted for the shrimp and chicken stir fry stuffed inside a pineapple which was amazing. Plenty of flavor, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. We went fur dinner in a Tuesday night. It was empty. Now we know why. The food was horrible. I don't know what happened it used to be great. I ordered a hamburger well done not burnt with fries. It came out with wrong type of fries. They took it back came back 10 minutes later with correct fries that were raw and a cold hamburger. Went here for dinner on Friday night and there was a short 15 minute wait before the 4 of us got seated at around 8:30 pm. We used that time to order some cocktails at the bar which were really amazing. I'd highly recommend the Saint Margarita ($13.25) which took a long time to be made but was mixed to perfection! The décor of this place was what caught my attention when we were searching for a place to eat. Very industrial look with gears on the ceiling, but overall, nice ambiance. We were seated and within seconds got our complimentary chips and salsa. Our server was quick to tell us about the daily specials - all sounded good but we did not order from the specials. We ordered Guacamole ($12.95) which said it was freshly made to order. It came within a few seconds of ordering and although tasty, did not feel like it was freshly made. We thought they'd make it at our table! I ordered the Echo Burger ($13.95) and other orders included Chicken Tacos ($11.95) and a very cheesy and expensive Penne Alfredo ($22.95) with lots of Shrimp and Chicken. Food overall is just ok, with Tacos being the winner. The pasta was just okay, nothing amazing about it. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. They also have valet parking at this place. PLEASE please please get rid of that drum for the birthday thing. It's highly obnoxious and super loud when trying to enjoy dinner. Just returned from a late lunch/early dinner. Just wanted a hamburger. Went into the HUGE space with 3 occupied tables. Server came and asked if we'd like anything to drink besides the bottle of water brought to the table while we looked at the menu. We asked for 2 unsweetened iced teas. So far so good. She returned with our drinks and took our simple order of a bacon cheddar burger for me done black and blue (very rare) and a Medusa burger for my wife with an order of guacamole and chips for an appetizer. Twenty minutes later no appetizer or offer to refill our drinks. My very rare burger came out first. The burger that required the least amount of time on the grill comes out first?? I waited for my wife's order to arrive before eating. About 10 minutes later it did. No appetizer appeared. There was no dinner crowd that suddenly appeared so the server was not overwhelmed. After asking about our appetizer, she looked stunned and confused but went to get it so we had our appetizer and entrees come out together. Maybe the manager should have told her that appetizers are traditionally served first. After asking( after about 20 minutes if my (and only my) burger was cooked properly, that was the last we saw of the server. No drink refills or checking in. Glad they had a water bottle on the table. My wife, who is a glass half full type of person said maybe it was shift change so the server went home. I've eaten at restaurants during shift change and the prior server always thanked me and told me another server would be taking over. Not here. We had to snag another server while he was taking our plates to get the check. Food was nothing to write home about but the service really nailed the coffin shut on this place. I never get milkshakes or anything like that, but after seeing a picture beforehand I had the urge. I saw candy like gummy worms so it helped make my decision. I guess that's why they can call it scallops since there wasn't one. Regardless scallops are $10-$20 a pound and shrimp about $5 a pound. We visited Echo Tap & Grille on a Friday evening for a middle school graduation celebration on 06/17. We arrived an hour early & the hosts were fairly rude to us. They sneered as they declared, you have no reservation. We calmly explained that we did have a res, we simply arrived a little early. They asked us the size of our party, not even bothering to check the iPad to see if our reservation existed. They sat us at a table for 6 people (we were a party of 8) & added 2 chairs at each end. When we pointed out that there was a table of 8 available, the hostess informed us that it was for another reservation that was set to arrive 30 min later. That reservation did arrive & lo & behold...they were a table of 6. If the hostess had bothered to even check her iPad & see the details, she would have realized that she gave the other group our table & gave us the table for the group of 6. Because of her condescension, we were pressed for space at our table, while the other table was probably confused why they had 2 extra chairs that no one used. To drink we ordered a spicy pineapple margarita & the infused pineapple martini. Both drinks were good albeit a little strong. Someone else in our party ordered a coconut mojito. She babysat all night & we had to force her to drink the rest long after everyone had finished eating LOL. She definitely left a little tipsy. For food we ordered the Sopressata & the Aloha Burger. Also ordered but not pictured was the pineapple stir-fry. All of the food was good. It also came out fast. Our waitress was very attentive; she took care of our party well. There were 8 of us, including 2 very indecisive children, so it wasn't always easy to keep tabs on everything we requested. But she did a fine job & fixed any small issues that occurred. We definitely enjoyed our dining experience between the food/drinks/service AT THE TABLE. However, the rude hostess left a bad taste in our mouth that the slightly overpriced food didn't completely mask. We'll give Echo another chance, maybe just at a different time slot. read more

Rating based on the experience rather than the food quality. I actually really like the food here, though a little expensive for what it is, however, last night I was up charged for using my debit card instead of cash. This is BS. Won't be going there again for a very long time. Here is an article that answers the question of whether a restaurant can 1) legally charge for processing fees, and 2) whether they should. Maybe the owner/manager will read this review and change their policy: Passing credit card fees onto guests is a complicated issue. There may be specific language in your merchant agreements as well as state and local regulations that prohibit this. From the restaurant's perspective, there are really two questions: 1. Can you pass credit card fees on to guests? 2. Should you pass credit card fees on to guests? You can determine the answer to the first question by reviewing your merchant agreements and checking with your attorney and local restaurant association. In general, at the federal level, passing on a fee of up to 4% is allowed if clearly posted. But my advice is to not bother, because the answer to the second question is no. I understand that restaurants seem to be hit with costs from every direction. It is tempting to pass them on to guests, but, in my opinion, is the antithesis of hospitality, penalizing a guest for doing business with you in the way they prefer to do it. Psychologically, passing a merchant fee to a guest is a form of punishment--"If you insist on paying this way, I'm going to make you pay for it"--rather than the rewarding experience it should be: "Here is a delicious dinner and hospitality in exchange for your fair payment." I am of the mindset that I'd rather pay 10% more for each menu item rather than 3% more being nickel and dimed for credit card fees, takeout container charges or other add-ons. My advice for restaurants is to fold any fees that you are tempted to pass on to your guests into your pricing. If you find that that pricing does not make you competitive, then you need to re-examine your business model. If you really want to discourage credit card use, offer a discount for cash, thereby rewarding the guest, rather than punishing them for spending their money with you. read more

After finishing the apps, and asking again for our beer, the manager came and said the keg kicked and they were having trouble with it. This is 45 minutes after ordering and asking repeatedly for something to drink. When our entrees came, 3 of us were disappointed. My Fat Burger, ordered medium rare, was well done. The Chicken Fajitas had a minimal amount of chicken and were bland. My buddies burger was ok, but the fries were cold. Overall, a crappy experience, and we'll never return. I've been here a few times with some of my girl friends and we love coming here as it's a cute cozy spot to catch up and its also got that industrial feel to it. Although I've only been here with my girls, it's honestly a good spot for anything - birthdays, date night & etc. This place does get jammed packed on the weekends so there will most likely be a wait and you'll get a buzzer. The food and cocktails are delicious here, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu/cocktail list, go for the specials of the day/season. I been here a few times but this is my first review. When I arrived I parked in their private lot. I walked in and the hostess walked me to my table and it was distanced from everyone. We were served by Nicholas and he was very informative and great to our table. I only had their homemade chips and salsa with pinot nior. My coworker had the pineapple stir-fry with shrimp special and it came to about $29 for just that. It looked great when it came out and I wanted to taste it after my coworker said it was good. The rice tasted so great and I wished I could of ate more. I will be back for sure to try the stir-fry on a cheat day. My wine was really good and so were the chips.
