If there were 10stars. I would give them all. 2 years ago, I had 2 dogs Nine and Sushi. They were diagnosed as a final stage of CHF. At that time, Dr.Jung gave me their life expectancy 8-15months. Along the way from that first day until now It've been 2 years already. Even though, I had lost Sushi after 1yr and a half of the treatment. Nine have made it through 2 years already, I truly appreciate Dr.Jung and his team especially Abe and Aram whom, always accommodating me and my dogs at the clinic. Dr.Jung is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He always go through all the details and necessary numbers that dog's dad need to know. I would say I was educated a lot about heart disease medications. He spends time to educate me why and how each pills work as well as the side effects that owner has to aware of. My dog is not a well behaved boy. He is barking a lot. Most of the time, I can't talk with anyone in front of him. Aram is another great person. She always helps taking my dog while Dr.Jung want to explain something to me. The client is well maintained and cleaned. From my 2 years experience with 2 dogs with CHF. This is the best cardiologist.

    Minnie's cardio visit

Minnie was diagnosed with PDA 2 weeks ago, we are so thankful to Dr Jung, he was very patient, and very detailed while explaining the diagnosis and the treatment. He even called and checked on Minnie to make sure she was doing well in the process of waiting for surgery. Minnie got operated today and doing very very well and there is no heart murmur at all. The team kept me updated and sent pictures at times since visitation was not recommended. Minnie's heart was enlarged to 25mm and it's only day one of surgery, today echo cardio measured to 20mm, as we can see it's already shrinking Thank you so much Dr Jung and echo vet cardio team of Tustin . We are very happy with the team.

I'm so thankful to Dr Jung and ALL of his staff. They have been amazing!!! They really care. Our 17 year old Shih Tzu has CHF. We've been in for the Echo, we've met with Dr Jung a couple times, he is well educated in his field and full of information and advice. When we have questions his front desk team (Yasmine and Abiram) have been so kind, listening to our concerns and following up with us after conferring with Dr Jung. The vet techs are experienced and thorough and compassionate. The entire team understands the gravity of the situation and has been tremendously supportive! I'm thankful that there are specialists to help treat my beloved fur child.

I was anxious to need a referral to a cardiologist for my cat but Dr. Jung came highly recommended. I requested an appointment online since it was the weekend and by the time Monday came I had learned that I needed to get in ASAP. Yasmine understood this when scheduling and was able to get me on a wait list and a sooner appointment. Everything was explained and additional instructions were online. When I arrived I was roomed immediately and seen by Aram to review details and history. Then it was time for exam and results with Dr. Jung. Everything was explained to me patiently and thoroughly by both Aram and Dr. Jung. I am so grateful for their kindness and expertise. We are lucky to have a relatively positive diagnosis and prognosis, all things considered. However, I have every confidence in Dr. Jung and this team to be able to handle anything. Thank you all!

    We miss him

Echo Vet Cardio was kind, responsive and professional. Dr. Jung is very knowledgeable and was able to provide my Zane with the correct treatment to help him in his journey. I am very thankful for everyone at Echo Vet Cardio.

I regret not paying closer attention to the one-star review. Here's my experience: At the beginning of the year, my toy poodle began suffering from strokes. After months of visiting various vets and emergency clinics, we finally discovered the cause and a treatment plan that seemed to help. Our vet prescribed medication, which made a difference, but also referred us to Echo Vet Cardio for a more in-depth assessment of my dog's heart condition. After some time weighing the decision, I scheduled an appointment. During the exam, Dr. Jung gave us a hopeful prognosis, estimating a life expectancy of 2+ years. He noted there was no fluid in my dog's lungs and recommended discontinuing the Furosemide due to elevated levels of a specific marker in her bloodwork. Following his advice, we stopped the medication for water in the lungs, but, continued the second medication for the strokes. Tragically, within a week, my dog's condition worsened. By Friday, 9/20, her respiratory issues became critical. That day, I called Echo Vet Cardio seeking urgent help. Instead of assistance, I was met with indifference. Aram, the staff member on the phone, seemed more interested in ending the call because it was late on a Friday and the doctor was unavailable. He told me to continue tracking my dog's breathing patterns, even though her respiratory rate was alarmingly high, and promised to follow up on Monday. He never did. When I called back the next day, Aram acted like he didn't even know who we were, reading my dog's symptoms off the computer as if hearing them for the first time. It was a heartbreaking and frustrating experience. Ultimately, due to the advice given and the negligence of the staff, we lost our beloved dog shortly after. For anyone who truly cares about their pet, I urge you to explore other options. Please take all reviews seriously, both good and bad--this clinic's lack of care and compassion could cost you your pet's life. P.s I've attached a few photos of my deceased pet to further support our claim and the place we took our pet to be euthanized sent us a heartwarming card by mail, which honestly just highlights how indifferent and careless Echo Vet Cardio was--because it took complete strangers, in our darkest moment, to show the empathy and compassion that this so-called "specialist" clinic never bothered to give. UPDATE 9/28: As consumers of California, we hold the legal right to file a complaint through the Department of Consumer Affairs, specifically the Veterinary Medical Board. If you had a negative experience at Echo Vet Cardio, I urge you to head over to vmb.ca.gov and file a complaint. You also have the option to remain anonymous. When I initially was seen at Pacific Cardiovascular Associates (seen by the nurse practitioner) I felt heard and cared for the way a patient SHOULD feel when being seen by a provider. She ordered testing of my heart and placed me on beta blockers to address the PVC's I was experiencing. Once I got pregnant she switched me to a different medication that is safe for pregnancy. I have been on that same medication for over 2 years. To bring this up to date: I ended up in Hoag NB with bradycardia among other symptoms back in July. I HAD NOT BEEN TAKING THE BETA BLOCKERS (they are only as needed when my PVC's are to overwhelming). At the time of my ER hospital visit I hadn't taken them in OVER 3 weeks. I was told to follow up with cardiology so reached out to my PCP to get an authorization. I was told by PCA since it was an urgent follow up I could call and have it scheduled right away. When I did receive an approval from my insurance I called to schedule but was told the soonest available was over a month out. I can understand that but based on what my last conversation was with them it contradicted what I had been told. Not a huge issue I understand these things are not in anyone's control at times. The day of my appointment I was scheduled to see Dr Champion. Upon his entering the patient room there were no questions asking what I was experiencing, what has been going on currently and no follow up on symptoms. He immediately started with "well based on the medication your taking you can expect to have it lower your heart rate as well as your blood pressure." Mind you I hadn't been taking the medication. Every time I tried to speak to explain that, he continued to interrupt me by saying "yeah, I read the report" over and over again. I don't know exactly what report he's referring to, If he HAD read the report, he would have seen the notes stating the medication had not been a factor in the bradycardia. Finally after multiple times of trying to communicate with him I asked "can I please speak" his response to me was "WOW!" After that, the whole visit went even further down hill. When I was stating experiencing the bradycardia I was met with a very rude "well how do you know that?" It was not a pleasant conversation. Every time I brought something up I was met with a condescending attitude and tone. I honestly don't know how this dr is practicing medicine with how he is. I'm not sure how he addresses the majority of his patients but the unprofessional approach and lack of patient care and concern is very alarming. This has all been so very disheartening. All of the waiting to have a "follow up" has not resolved one thing. And the very next day after my appointment with Dr Champion he denied a request for a refill on my beta blockers. If he would have listened to anything he would have known that the bradycardia occurs only on occasion and I ONLY take my medication as needed when my heart rate is normal. The same way someone who may be prescribed a medication that is not safe to drive with only takes it when not planning on getting behind the wheel. I've called the office 2 days in a row and have been unable to speak to anyone. I've left messages asking for a return call and nothing. Now, the only medication that has worked to relieve my symptoms of PVC's isn't readily available. This feels very malicious and unnecessary. A professional acting as unprofessional as you can imagine. I will be filing a complaint with the state as well as my healthcare provider.

Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely disappointing. After being on hold for more than 45 minutes, Karen was rude, dismissive, and condescending during our conversation. Before I was able to fully address my questions regarding my appointment, she abruptly disconnected the call. Because I was concerned that my appointment had not been properly scheduled, my husband, who is the policyholder, called back shortly afterward to confirm the appointment details. He was connected with Karen again. While attempting to discuss the prior interaction and seek clarification, Karen hung up on him as well. Your phone system states that calls are recorded. Therefore, I am formally requesting that both calls that occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on June 17, 2026, be reviewed and that appropriate corrective action be taken. When I asked to speak with a manager, Karen stated that management was in back-to-back meetings and refused to provide her last name. She repeatedly interrupted us, cut us off while we were speaking, and made no effort to resolve our concerns. Life is stressful enough, especially when dealing with medical appointments. Patients should not be subjected to disrespectful treatment when simply trying to schedule necessary healthcare services. I find it concerning that this type of behavior would be tolerated in a patient-facing role. I would appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been received, that the calls will be reviewed, and that appropriate follow-up action will be taken. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, XXXX
