Do they have parking?

While Echostage does not offer parking, there are numerous third-party parking locations around the venue, in addition to street parking throughout the neighborhood.

Trying to get tickets to Davido on May 27th. Different sites are listing different pricing and some have multiple pricing options, all GA. Does anyone know if there is a difference between GA I, II, & III? looking at TicketFly, VividSeats, & TickPick

For concerts: No difference unless you are going for the expensive VIP booths.

The AC was cranking and the temp was comfortable. Upstairs has standing room and some bleachers which provides a good view with less of a crowd. Their VIP area looks nice and I'd be interested in splurging next time for a seat and a better view. There's bars downstairs and upstairs and even some food concessions. Getting out of the venue from the balcony was a bit stressful with only one way out. It makes you imagine what would happen if you needed to get out in a rush... other than that, it's a good space.

Parking was easy. We opted for the stadium lot knowing we were in heels and wanted a clean exit when the night wrapped. A short entry way opens into a full experience: stage, two bars, a dance floor, and sections. The layout pulls you in immediately. We grabbed drinks quickly at the bar and moved through the space. Gratuity is already added at checkout and the night took over from there. The real find was the outdoor area. Fenced in, well lit, spacious, and built for exactly this kind of social energy. We found our spot out there and stayed most of the night. Tap to pay outside made transactions quick and easy, which kept the flow going. Smoking was permitted, the soca music set the tone, and the atmosphere was genuinely lit with dancing and good energy all around. Everyone was getting along, moving, and just enjoying the moment. That is the kind of outdoor space that elevates a venue. A few honest notes. The outdoor bar had one bartender to start and the line backed up until a second arrived. The mixers were lukewarm and poured from pitchers, and they were out of Diet Coke. To their credit, the bartender was gracious and replaced the first drink without hesitation. The restrooms were clean but the stalls needed restocking. As women tend to do, we handled it together and kept it moving. Back inside the vibes heated up, we met some people at the bar, closed out the night with one more rum and coke, and danced until it was time to go. On the way out we stopped for corn soup from a legend in the area. The perfect ending to a great night. If you're from out of town, you have to know that gratuity is already included on every check. The bartenders won't tell you, so you just have to know that if you want, you can definitely tip additional but it is included already. 2. During the winter event, there was no propane in any of the propane heaters and the outside area was very cold, so bring your coat if you go to a winter show there. It is a great place for live music!

Unfortunately when I bit into the pie it tasted kind of old or like it just came out of the freezer. And the crust which is typically my favorite part of a pie had a weird taste to it. I had maybe 2 bites and then couldn't do it anymore so I threw the rest out. Aside from the pie itself, the staff were really nice. They even offered to warm up the pie for me which I loved. The size of the pie was pretty big .. not necessarily $10 worth tho. I would recommend just getting a whole pie from the grocery store instead for the cost. The inside was empty and there was plenty of seating. And also to note it did look like they've been a neighborhood favorite over the years. They have multiple 'Best of DC' stickers on the door. So maybe it was just an off day. Give this spot a try if you're in the mood for a savory pies.

On a 20-degree Sunday night, it looked spacious. The menu is not large at all. There are six types of burgers and I chose the French Onion - "saucy" caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese, and crispy fried onions on top of a half-pound patty. I give it an "A" presentation. The ingredients were not stacked too high and I loved the caramelized onion flavor in each bite. The burger meat also was cooked at medium. Next to it was a stack of garlic fries. Shouldn't there be bits of garlic all over it? No, just bite into a fry and it tastes like garlic! I don't know how they do it. On the way out, I asked the one bartender that night if DC9's burgers were a huge draw. He said yes, it's a low key place for burgers but people do come here for them and the chicken sandwich as well. DC9 deserves a spot among the greats in the city not only because the burger tastes good, but it is also a great value! $15 for a burger that comes with fries. There are places where that's the price of the burger alone, or it is even more now!

If you attend a concert or a show, you will go up a flight of stairs to enter (two flights for the rooftop bar). The schedule is laid back. When a flyer says, "Doors open at 7:00pm," they mean 7:00pm-ish." The stage area is small. There are only a handful of tables. The metal stools are not extremely comfortable. But after you pay the cover charge (varies $15-$20 the night we visited) there isn't a minimum amount of food/drinks. There are complimentary water pitchers. The place is a fun dive. I would enjoy date night without seeing a show. The space is limited but people enjoyed dancing. Independent artists perform and sell merchandise at the counter. Be alert at night. I would have people with me if I were visiting in the evening.

From where I was seated, it was difficult to clearly hear the vocals, which took away from the performance. The venue itself is stunning and has hosted some memorable shows for me, but based on this experience, it seems better suited for theater and dance performances than for certain live music concerts. Despite the sound issues, I still enjoyed the show as much as I could and would return for the right performance.
