Apple cider donuts and cider slushies

Apple cider donuts and cider slushies were amazing!! Such a cute farm with very reasonable prices

    Fresh strawberries picked this morning!

Favorite place for the whole family to hang out, clean and safe and super yummy fresh fruit! Can't beat it!

Very fun place! Lots of activities for kids and we loved shopping in the store. We got some salsa, apple butter, and some apple cider donuts. Everything was good!

This place was amazing !! The staff was over the top friendly , and their cider strawberry slushies were a 10/10. We also strawberry picked, which was super fun. Overall, this is a good place for families to enjoy the day together!

I have to say it's an awesome plaice to take family. It has plenty of things for kids to do. Right now is the best place to get your apple butter and also pick out your own pumpkin and apple from off the tree for the apple and fresh off the vine off pumpkin. You can also ride a camel . One hump so dromedary just saying. Lol There is a play place that looks like a ship. Then a huge slide for kids to slide down but not ADULTS jus to let you know. In case you want to slide down. The petting Zoe if awesome you get to feed all the animals. Bring plenty of quarters to feed the machine. It's a lot of fun for the whole family.

Drove from over an hour away after hearing they don't cancel for rain, only storms, on their message when someone calls. Got there and it was sprinkling a bit so they told us they were holding off for the moment because of rain. After nearly two hours and the skies being blue and clear we asked when they would be opening back up and then they finally told us they would be closing for the day. They had every opportunity to tell us that but instead let us wait for close to two hours with three small children. Do not believe their message that they don't close for rain, bc they closed down for the day due to a bit of sprinkling. What is worse is that they never were upfront about closing for the day and let us waste nearly two hours. We come here yearly but we will not be back after this lack of customer care. On the way to another orchard now, who isn't closing when it's beautiful outside.

If you can stop & appreciate the beauty of this picture then you're a friend of mine.

I had so much fun picking berries & picking peaches. This is perfect for a solo trip or fun with the kids. It is super clean and kid friendly. As soon as you walk in there are freshly picked vegetables, locally baked goods & the seasonal fruit. Be still my heart. There is a petting zoo in the back and an area for the kids to drive their own little tractor. If you want to "pick-your-own" seasonal fruits you can hitch a ride on the tractor (very clean, & comfy I might add) and take a trip through the Orchard to pick whatever is in season. I came for the blackberries. Let me just tell you how delectable these giant pieces of heaven were. If you're a foodie like me, you can apppreciate the natural beauty of plucking that sweet jewel off the vine. 100% nature's candy. I felt like the little girl from Eastern Kentucky walking out to the berry bushes out behind the Church and popping one in my mouth then making sure there was no evidence for my Mom to freak out over cause I didn't wash it first! I'm blessed to be able to have this place so close to me. I can't wait for apple picking time. I believe I made 12 jars of blackberry jam ( 1/2 with seeds and 1/2 without) which I will be gifting to close friends and family. Just go y'all. It's a truly wonderful & delicious experience!

I was nearby and heard the call of the pie, a call that I cannot resist. Apple, peach and blueberry today. Marionberry is a favorite pie of mine, but the berry is a Pacific Coast variety. Blackberry seemed close enough. This is an Oh Yes! Thinking the pie might be lonely on the backseat of my car, I thought some apple cider donuts would keep it company. Pie at tea time today, donuts for breakfast tomorrow. Oh Yes, again.

    Nice looking peaches.

Very nice farm stand. Super clean inside. Large parking lot. We got peaches and blackberries. You could pick your own. They had many choices of produce also. They are dog friendly and we took both of ours inside. They have picnic tables in the grass out front to sit and relax or have a beverage that they sell inside. They have children's activities and an animal barn. Restrooms. Fair prices. Nice looking produce. Nice stop.

Many families make it an annual Fall tradition to stop and spend the day at the orchard. Gathering your favorite pumpkin to picking out different types of apples this is the place to go. Out back there are several activities offered for the kids along with wagon rides and camp fires at night the whole family can enjoy. Inside the store you can pick up almost anything pumpkin, apple or peach related. (see pics) One of the things they are actually well known for are the apple cider cinnamon sugar donates. They are made fresh daily and they always offer samples of them as well. Stop by and I'm sure it will become an Fall tradition for you and/or your family as well.

Covid style - orchard trip. They asked you to wear a mask but the kids rarely had them on. I did not see anyone cleaning or monitoring any of the areas. My son will be two next month and enjoyed the corn maze and swing sets. It's not as baby toddler friendly as I would like but still makes for a great day. The cider is delicious! Be sure to get donuts on your way out!

    Freezer Jam Class.

Loved the Freezer Jam class! The class maintained covid requirements while being hands on and efficient. I left with a couple of new friends a product I made! So fun!

We've come here several times for strawberry picking, apple picking & of course pumpkins in the fall! They have a large market with produce from the orchard as well as other fresh and local items and even gifts. Be sure to take home a pack of their cider donuts! Eckert's is a great place for a family outing and it can get VERY crowded in the fall around Halloween. They did a great job this year with COVID-19 precautions- requiring masks & setting up hand sanitizer. I removed one star because while they have a great and large play area, it can get pretty pricey as both adults and children are required to pay to enter.

The playground is a huge hit--there's a large slide structure, jumping pillows, and plenty of smaller play options for toddlers. My favorite newer addition has been the fall corn maze--such a fun experience! After playing, the kids love grabbing a treat or ice cream in the market. In the market, I usually stock up on cider, preserves, and fresh fruit--and I always grab a bottle of Wise Bird Cider (so good). They also offer baking mixes, vegetables, meats, and more. You'll find seasonal favorites like strawberries, apples, and pumpkins throughout the year, and everything is consistently fresh and delicious. We make it a tradition to buy strawberries in May, grab peaches during the summer, and pick apples in early fall. Stepping Stone also serves as a wedding and private events venue, and I often see school field trips there as well. The owners and staff are absolute sweethearts, and it's clear they genuinely care about what they do. They're wonderful community partners, and it really shows.

I of course went to pick some strawberries and there was a great selection as they had just opened for the season. They also had plenty of berries in their store you could just walk in and buy some along with some vegetables, fresh baked goods, jams and pickles, frozen meats and local dairy products. It was a nice way little afternoon trip.

We were really impressed by the amount of strawberries today & got some blueberries too! The prices per pound were posted where you purchase your ticket to ride. There is a wonderful market with fresh picked produce, jams, fresh baked goods, fudge, seasonings, etc as well to grab some goodies. Today there was live music, which was great to listen to while eating a burger from the food truck and a flatbread ordered from inside. Other things we'll have to try on our next visit are the homemade ice cream and a wine tasting.

We arrived a little bit early and had lunch at the cafe on-site, which was pretty good, and then we checked in for our tour. What people may not know is that below the gift shop area is where a lot of the barrels and such are. I think our tour guide's name was Ricky and she was very good, I learned a little bit about the distillery. We had chosen the bottle your own experience, which ended up being really unique. At the end of the tour, we got to taste a few of the bourbons, literally from the barrels, and then we got to fill a bottle from one of the open barrels. After that, we put a sticker/the label one, plus one with our name, and another with the back label. Differentiation was encouraged, although we all put them on standardly except for my husband, who had the four of us plus Ricky sign the bottle, which was fun. I believe the tour was $100 each, and just the bottle itself would've been like $80, so for $20 extra, it was a good deal. At the end of the tour, they let us taste a good portion of their wines and other whiskeys and bourbons; I will say their wines were not that great, unfortunately, though there were two that I liked and purchased. They were very generous with the tastings and I don't think there was a maximum number ... I tasted maybe 1/3 of what was on the sheet, aka open for tastings. Overall I would come back here, although I probably wouldn't need to do the tour a second time (it would be fun to see the rickhouses, though).
