We took the wagon ride to the flower and pumpkin fields and they also had a corn maze! So much fun, you could pick a bouquet if you wanted. I was able to bring my yorkie with me and he had a blast. They had plenty of photo ops. I think everything was reasonably priced, the owners were very nice. There was so much to do we didn't get enough time to feed the animals! Definitely go with time. I got there two hours till close because I didn't anticipate the drive from Lexington.

They had things ready for all ages. It was nice that they had a separate area for egg hunting and they requested that the children take up to 12 eggs each. They also had a face painting station, an area to feed animals, craft site, and more. My little one also loved the wagon ride! The large wagon took people on a tour of the farm. I had no idea how big it was and how many things they produced. We definitely intend to return in order to pick strawberries and apples. It was great, inexpensive fun for us and I can see this being a family tradition.

Simply put and without reservation or dispute these trees are the best trees you can find anywhere on planet Earth. We both highly recommend a live tree from this farm in your living room. If you put it in a tree stand that holds water. Ours holds two gallons and give it water until it stops drinking water anywhere from 10 to 14 days. It will last into January most likely, ours always do . My wife and I have been buying trees for 36 years. We have bought trees from many places. We even for a short period went trough artificial trees. We were never happy until we found the Fraser Fir tree. They are simply one of the best Christmas Trees you can buy. Tom sells out every year, so go early. Tom is retired as a professor from Lexington University teaching landscape architecture if my memory serves me correctly. When youu realize these trees are around six years old and have been carefully manicured by Tom its really quite a bargain. They are humble people with a great tree. I grew up with fake trees, but real trees have such a nice smell I figured we would give it a shot. Now I'm hooked. This little farm provides a great experience. They have a variety of different types of tree to choose from, along with a variety of sizes. All you have to do is walk out there, find it, hold up your provided measuring stick, and look around for an employee. They'll drive over, price it for you (our six-footer was right at $100), cut it, drive it to your car, and even tie it on for you. Additionally, this location is very dog-friendly. They even have a few friendly dogs of their own running around (even more reason for us to want to come back).

I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. So, I raced over Sunday morning and found the photo and then found myself browsing what turned out to be a great antique store for the first time. Get in there if you haven't been! They have everything from childhood photos of my brother to an English Springer Spaniel art serving tray, to two vintage novelty neckties (Christmas theme and New York City theme). Or at least that's what followed me home! Brother Ned, if you're reading this...just know that if your boyhood photo ends up in an antique store, you just might be an antique yourself!!
