Highly recommend Sujin! Posting a month after my initial appointment and I've received so many compliments on how my brows look. I went with the combo brow and the results are amazing! I told Sujin my concerns about symmetry and length as well as some noticeable gaps. If you're worried about super dark/sharpie-like results while the tattoo heals, I did not have that experience at all! It remained natural throughout the healing process. I was already satisfied with the results on Day 1 and feel like they healed very nicely without losing much pigment. I also really liked that she had a complimentary touch up within two months which addressed some fading at the ends. Overall, my brows are much fuller and more symmetrical while still looking really natural. I will be back if I need any touch ups in the future! My sister researched extensively for an experienced beautician whose style is elegant and modern. Lucky for me, she made an appointment for both of us with Sujin for eye brows. I flew down from Seattle for the appointment because I wasn't having luck finding someone here whose work I liked. When we arrived for the appointment, we were greeted into a very clean suite within a complex of other beauty-related businesses. The fact that all her equipment and furniture were spotless was a great sign for us. We then talked about the shape of the eye brows that would complement our faces and Sujin took extreme care to make sure that they were. She took her time and checked in with me throughout the whole process to make sure I was happy with the shape. She is adept yet has a gentle hand when it comes to using the tattooing instruments and even for a wimp like me I didn't feel any pain. But what made it a memorable experience for me was when I went back for a touch up. Since I live out of state, it had been a bit longer than when I was supposed to come in for the touch up. Despite of this, she actually took the time to restore the shape of my eye brows. This showed me she really cares about how her work impacts her customers, and how earnest she is about her work itself. My time ever seeing Sujin was in July and Sujin has followed me through my eyebrow journey since then. When I first saw her in July, I was extremely adamant on having combo brows done as I was extremely worried of having unnatural, heavy brows as I am pale and tend to gravitate toward a soft black/cool gray color when filling in my brows. After living with those brows for a month, I realized in August that they simply did not fit me. As someone who loves the powder brows makeup look I realized having 100% brow shading done would suit me better. I contact Sujin in August and she is able to fit me in way earlier than expected and fully transform my brows from the natural look to powder makeup look that I was initially looking for. Fast forward my shaded brows healed beautifully and I come to see Sujin again, 3 months later in November. Throughout all my visits Sujin has remained incredibly consistent, patient, and communicative despite the language barrier. Ever since my first visit Sujin has remained vigilant on educating me on my oily skin and how that may affect how my skin maintains the pigment. I have oily troubled skin, and all times Sujin made a clear effort to make sure not to irritate my skin with too many passes and made sure to be clear about where the pigment is, and what is just my irritated skin. Nonetheless, as an artist Sujin's work truly speaks for itself. When I communicate with Sujin about my concern about the color Sujin immediately offered a cool gray color for me opposed to a khaki brown and throughly explained the undertones I should expect, again, she did all this despite our language barrier which I cannot appreciate enough. I felt I was in very good hands when a huge bulk of our appointment was her mapping out my brows, everything from the start point of my brows, to the arch, to the tail length of my brows, to the thickness was mapped very meticulously. She never rushed me, and only started the procedure once I was truly happy with the shape. Sujin is big on less is more, starting off slow and adding more at touch ups. I can appreciate this as Sujin gives clients the opportunity to sit with her initial work, and considers your input at touch ups which leaves very little room for mistakes in the end. Sujin will truly consult on what she thinks suits you most. She'll give her opinion without completely shutting down your own personal input without reason. Sujin's studio is extremely clean, well lit, and cozy. I felt at ease all 3 times I've visited her. She sends you off with a care bag and very clear instructions on aftercare, and makes it very clear that she'll definitely be there afterwards for any concerns you might have even months after the procedure. When I found a place locally, I was excited and took a chance, and boy I am glad I did. I no longer have to look for a place in OC or LA. Sujin was detailed and put in lot of effort to fix the microblading I did a few years ago. She reshaped my brows and evened out the color from past tattoos.
