I never imagined that a routine upgrade would one day make the difference between life and death, for both myself and my daughter. Fast forward to 2025. While driving northbound on Highway 75, two vehicles were racing southbound. One lost control, crossed five lanes, and slammed into the center median. The impact shattered the concrete barrier, sending massive chunks of debris and twisted vehicle parts hurtling into oncoming traffic, directly at us. Our vehicle was struck multiple times. Concrete boulders and flying metal slammed into the windshield. But thanks to the clear tint Alta Mere installed years earlier, the glass held. It didn't shatter. Scheduling my appointment was smooth and I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to book an appointment the same week. The day of my appointment i was helped by Emma who had excellent customer service. Emma thoroughly explained the tint levels, results and pricing and lastly let me know of the lifetime warranty on the tint which i was pleased about. Unfortunately, I was unable to get all windows tinted because I was unaware one of my passenger windows no longer rolled down but Emma advised they would gladly tint it once I got it fixed and they did just that. So now all my windows are tinted and weeks later I noticed an area on my back window was peeling and bubbling; I allowed the recommend time to pass to see if it would fix itself but when it didn't i called back and set an appointment right away to have the spot looked over. During my time there Elmer asisted me and he also had excellent customer service, he came out and looked at my car and explained a plastic piece located on my back window cause the tint to push back but they would get me right and redo it. When my vehicle was done, Elmer explained they worked the plastic in a way to ensure it doesn't mess my back window tint up again. I admittedly was not thrilled about having to go back a third time but everyone i interacted with was kind, they were happy to assist me and I really appreciated how they made it so my tint would hold up on my back window. Most importantly, I'm very pleased with the work itself that was done. I noticed an immediate difference in the heat levels in my car and they look good also, no more unsightly bubbles! Really Terrible…read more Quality of materials seems good, but install was definitely not. Waited the requested 5 days before using my windows. Passenger window trim was not reinstalled correctly and but a gash in the tint. When calling to get this repaired was told I'd have to wait for an opening in their schedule - you're kidding me. Needed my vehicle to travel to a funeral. Stopped at the shop and one of the guys was able to fix the trim and I would have to return to fix the tint. Again, called for an appointment and had to wait several days. When the tint was replaced, there were air bubbles. They said to wait a week and they would go away. Four months later, they are still there. It is just not worth it to wait on appointment for them to mess up my tinting again. Lousy customer service, lousy install, never, ever will use them again.

Tony and his wife Lisa were who we spoke with and who worked on our Model 3 (2021). Tony himself was the actual installer and to say he went "above and beyond" is an understatement. First off, they were able to get us a great deal for the top-of-the-line XPEL XR Plus tint on all glass surfaces. This meant they did all the windows, the glass roof, even the windshield itself - apparently they are able to put an almost clear layer so it doesn't impact visibility that also still manages to block out a TON of heat. Second, when they first checked over the vehicle, they found a handful of flaws I had not seen (we had just gotten the vehicle only days before deciding we wanted to get tint installed before the summer really kicked off), and showed us before ever getting started to put us at ease with how they were going to handle the vehicle and let us know up front of any issues they found. Third, when Tony got to work, he actually noted that at some point some of the paneling had been hastily re-set into place, and was not correctly re-installed... so he took it upon himself to properly correct the issue, bending fasteners that were not correctly attached into their intended positions... meaning when they gave us the car back, not only was the tint installed perfectly, but the car was technically in even better shape than when we picked it up directly from Tesla's own shop in Dallas since now all the internal panels had been fastened as designed from the factory itself! They even registered the warranty for the XPEL tint so we didn't have to worry about any sort of future coverage should any issues occur with the film itself. In the past, I've gone with other tinters and I've had issues come up years later with peeling, cracking, and tearing, but I have a feeling that this is not going to be happening with Tony's work. I don't think we'll be going anywhere else but Tony's from now on. Now we just need to get a time where we can be without the vehicle for a few more days so we can get PPF + Ceramic coating installed on the body. Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships. The only reason for a lack of star was due to the communication as I had to follow up with them multiple times to bring the car in to actually be fixed, and initially they were just trying to "get me in where I could fit" time wise and I didn't appreciate that because it required me to leave my car all day. Both doors looked like they were peeled from the post, there was a deep puncture in my quarter panel, both door handles were pulled right off and the side mirror was no where to be found.
