    We had a full backyard renovation - filling in a pool/jacuzzi, updating drainage & irrigation, and rework of hardscapes and lighting. EcoDesign SD was there to support us every step of the way, from design to material selection, and color schemes. I'm not great at making decisions, but they helped guide us and offered suggestions within our price range. As with any project, there will be additional costs along the way. Once you start digging, other issues arise that need to be addressed. We were always informed about these issues and we came up with solutions as a team. Change Orders were sent that had price breakdowns so it felt very transparent. We had several large change orders that consumed the majority of our surplus budget. Once we communicated that to the company, they offered suggestions to alternate materials and designs that would keep us within budget. Throughout the whole project, we were in a group chat on WhatsApp with the owner, office manager, lead designer, and lead construction. this was a great way to ensure that we were all on the same page and had quick access to ask questions or send photos. The guys on site every day were punctual, professional, respectful, and always cleaned up after themselves. It was almost like they were part of our family for a few months. EcoDesign will not be your lowest bidder, but what you are paying for is high quality work and excellent service. My backyard now looks like something from a magazine. We are genuinely SO happy with it. I have friends who did small yard projects with other contractors and they didn't get exactly what they wanted, leaving them less than 100% satisfied. We are 110% satisfied and we wouldn't change a thing about the project. That's because we were involved in every step, decision, and selection. EcoDesign blew us away and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a show-stopping project.

    This is the second time we've worked with Eco Design. Veronica and her team Jorge, Ashley and Isabel are truly wonderful and care about doing things correctly. We have a large support wall that holds up our yard from the canyon below it. The wall, originally put in by another landscape design company, was failing so we had to have it completely redone. Jorge and his prompt, respectful, kind crew meticulously took everything apart and put it back together better than ever. This included putting irrigation into the wall and making sure it drains correctly. We also had them repair a cracked stucco wall and refresh the yard with several new plants. Going forward, I will only use EcoDeign for my yard projects and I highly recommend them.

    Ecodesign broke my hose. She's so busy that she has to schedule a meeting with me over a $50 hose. Would you like to be treated like this?

    TLDR: Broke my hose, won't replace it Would you want to do business with these people? Ecodesign workers were carrying heavy buckets of water up and down the stairs. Like a good neighbor, I offered to let them use my hose. Nice, right? They broke my hose. I asked them to replace it. Normal, right? They sent me a nasty email about how they had to schedule a meeting, would have to make sure others were present, and then would charge me for their time. They broke the hose at the joint. It has 10 settings for the nozzle. Nine of those 10 no longer work, including the shower one I use most often. Just replace it. That's all. Update: A few hours after I wrote this review, I got a call from EcodesignSD. She said she saw my review and she had already ordered a hose for me, but hadn't gotten back to me yet. I sent her an email about it May 13. I posted this review after receiving the nasty text on May 24. Today she delivered the replacement hose.

    Highly recommend this local PB business! EcoDesigns did an incredible transformation of our front yard. They were so professional to work with from the beginning consultations through the final touches. Veronica and the team meticulously partnered with us to build a plan that met our budget and design needs and the final outcome far exceeded our expectations. The crew was highly professional, on time, transparent, and kept a clean job site. We get many compliments from neighbors and always highly recommend EcoDesign for jobs big, small and everything in between. We would definitely hire them again!

I know all companies that are associated with real estate are experiencing lots of volume so that was very quick considering the market. To be honest I was in such need of moving this project forward. What a wonderful blessing we got started right away! I had moved into a new home and with the exception of a desk/chair and a bed. I only brought items that fit in a box. Or went in the closet. I initially contacted Blythe so I can get a design to get some furniture etc. but I had boxes all around the parameter of my home and couldn't get to the design until we went through all the boxes and had everything organized and put away. Over the years we can accumulate so many items that are so precious. IE: just to name one category. I had been saving a variety of keep sake items from over the years that were also in cardboard boxes and felt stuck not knowing what to do with them. I didn't know where to start. When Kate arrived she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. We opened every box and went through absolutely everything. She made what looked so overwhelming a breeze. She was able to help me discern what to keep and what to purge. I had a hard time parting ways with items I hadn't used in I can't even remember the last time I had used them. I even had kept boxes from vacuums and other appliances that she kindly pointed out were taking up space that we could use to organize other items in. Apparently, I needed the permission to get rid of it. Which when I did get rid of them. It felt freeing! We sorted through all sorts of items. Anywhere, from a variety of keep sakes (my daughter trophy's, various photos, bday and holiday cards I had collected over the years), office supplies, to electronics (she helped me discern what to keep - and what to recycle - phew - so nice to know you can recycle electronics), kitchen cabinets, cleaning supplies, cleaning appliances in a closet, to paperwork that needed to be shredded and had piled up over time (which I got done), misc. bathroom items, linen closet to labeling. By the time we were done it was after 6pm and we had lot of empty cardboard boxes to recycle. Even though she had been here for 4 hours on a intense and detailed job.... with a mask on... On a hot day. She wanted to ensure she didn't leave any task for that day not completed. She offered to help me break down and take out every last box (I live on the 3rd floor) which we did. Then we scheduled an appt. for the next day so we could get some containers etc. to efficiently organize the items. Bye bye cardboard boxes. What started off as a 3 hour process. Ended up being a 9 hour job over a span of 3 days. I'm so grateful Kate was available 3 days in a row to keep the flow of the process going. I can go on and on. When you don't know where to start it's sure great to have someone who is a professional organizer help you. Kate is experienced, professional, amazing, friendly, funny, jovial and someone you will feel comfortable having in your home.

I decided to stop by and bring my inspiration images, and the owner Bettina immediately introduced herself and had such enthusiasm to ask me about my project! She offered competitive pricing, style, material and construction details, and offered a solution to what I was trying to accomplish for my fabric selection! Bards completed my project in less than the estimated time promised, and hand delivered everything with a white glove service! Not only was I absolutely blown away by how efficient they were in communicating, and how phenomenal the quality was, but she even called me to follow up weeks later to ask me how happy I was with her service! It was really great to be able to see the design in CAD along the way, and Ella and Sheldon were very patient with showing us different options during our decision-making process. I loved that Nico was very trustworthy and I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us, like some contractors will do. He was always very open and honest about the process. Of course, some things come up along the way with a project as big as ours (2-story addition plus renovating entire existing house), no matter how much planning goes in. But there were always conversations with Nico about everything and I always felt like we were treated fairly and with respect. After our project was complete, EN has always been very responsive, always coming to fix any issue. This has continued well after the project has ended. They truly stand by their work and I can't say enough good things about their team.

I was both impressed with her sense of style and her professionalism. The process started with her visiting our home to get a general sense of our style and to interview us about the project. She asked thoughtful questions and took detailed measurements of our current space. With a short time we had the initial designs and was surprised how close to the mark they were. I was expecting a number of rounds of back and forth before we got to that point so it showed she really had an understanding of our priorities and style. Since this was our first project, and I'm a very detail oriented person, I had a lot of questions and really wanted to understand everything about the process. She was patient and prompt when answering my questions and going over the details, sometimes repeatedly. I really appreciated that because I know we weren't her biggest client. I was also impressed with her taking the initiative and working with our general contractor to make sure we where all on the same page.
