My son, Michael recently hired Marcos landscape company to clean up the weeds and growth around our mobile home in Poway. This was our first time using theur services. Jesse and David showed up late, and apologized. They went right to work, and did a beautiful job, removing all weeds and growth on the property. They were both very polite and professional. It's difficult to find a company that has good customer service. Thankfully I found this one. Ari set an appointment and arrived on time. He listened, took notes and pictures as I told him what plants, trees and bushes I wanted trimmed and how I wanted them trimmed. Being super attentive, he noticed a bird nest in one tree. Together we planned a strategy to avoid it. He successfully conveyed my instructions to his team. Most importantly, when all the work was done, I requested more trimming on one bush. With no complaints, looks, or excuses, the men got it done. They transformed my overgrown weed filled jungle yard into a California leisure/play area complete with baby birds! read more

My small patio space, which isn't a grassy area but originally gravel, was overgrown with weeds. Reaching out to Ari, he actually stopped by my apartment unit and gave me the most reasonable price compared to other places that produced ridiculous prices just for trash alone. A few reschedules were made on both ends, and some made due to unforeseen circumstances (weather), but communication was kept throughout each reschedule and Ari made sure I didn't feel forgotten. Today was finally the day, and I am very happy with the professionalism. My patio doesn't have a back gate or entrance, and the team actually set up a ladder to climb over so they didn't have to come through our home. It took close to an hour, and at the end they did spray over the area to help stop regrowth. They did amazing work with our giant Bird of Paradise and palm trees. They came in one Saturday and handled most of our yard to do a full cleanup since we haven't been upkeeping it. After getting a few quotes on landscaping Marcos Maintenance came out with the best price. We closed escrow on a house that needed major landscape work as the previous owners let it go in a bad way. Ari was our point of contact and he was able to come survey the house and give us a quote the next day (on a weekend)! We scheduled our large cleanup which consisted of removing a tall palm tree and a ton of stump removals. I checked in halfway through their day and the house already looked much better. They cleaned up and hauled everything away, I wouldn't hesitate to hire these guys very professional and communicate well via text. I am so bummed to have to leave a bad review. We hired Ari and Marco to help specifically with weeding in the planter beds and throughout the front/back yards, and in between the pavers of the driveway. Ari made us a contract confirming all of this (as well as blowing the leaves, trimming trees/bushes, and fertilization when needed). We signed the contract and waited for them to come work on our yard. After the second time they came, I noticed there were still weeds in our planter beds (specifically in the back), they hardly touched the large weeds in the grassy area of the backyard, and were in/out in under an hour. I urged one of the guys to help me with a lavender bush, which he ended up cutting back, but that was only bc I asked. When I text Ari after they left, I sent pictures of things they left out and asked if they could come back at a different time and finish. He informed me that they spent an hour at our place and it was "discussed that not all of the work will be done in one session." Because I wasn't satisfied, Marco decided to just "cut ties" with me instead. I was so disappointed. I can imagine the first time you get to a property that hasn't had a professional lawn service, they might need to spend more time getting the job done. After that, it should all be "maintaining" the lawn. As a customer you should be able to communicate your needs and have them value you enough to listen and do what they say they're going to do. Instead, this company made me feel unimportant and disposable. If you want a company to pick up leaves and mow grass, these are your guys. If you want someone who is going to pay attention to detail, fulfill their part of the contract, and pride themselves in the work they do on a lawn as well as the relationship they have with their customers, DO NOT go with this company. read more
