I actually didn't use their services because Phil, who by the way was corresponding with me last night way afterwards trying to help out. After a conversation this morning Phil suggested a few ideas, thinking a service was not needed at this time. He said if doesn't work I'll come by and we will resolve the issue for you. My issue was I was gone 4 months and came home to gnats maybe I killed 15 all together but it made me crazy..Phil put my mind at easy said it was probably the drain and gave me suggestions to do. Not only was he amazingly kind and helpful, he was honest and didn't try to charge me 200 dollars like Joe the bug guy did.. no thanks Joe! I've had EcoGen come out a total of 3 times now and wow, very impressed with EVERYTHING. I shopped around for a pest control company and Michelle at EcoGen was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. I've been using EcoGen for years. They are extremely professional, reasonably priced, easy to book appointment with, always on time, and very thorough with their treatment. Today we had Cruise who was very friendly, explained everything he was going to do in detail and he did a great job. We have a fairly large yard with a lot of greenery and he definitely helped us out with our ants, spider issues and he kept our pets safe as well as the little stray cats in the area that roam our yard. Realized we had an insect issue and wanted it taken care of quickly. Also wanted to use a service that was people and pet friendly. Contacted EcoGen through yelp, and the owner responded very quickly. He sent all of the information one would need to make an informed decision, along with very reasonable rates compared to other quotes I received. EcoGen was able to get a technician out to us the next day. The tech arrived on time and was very professional, friendly, and thorough. He answered all of my questions and told me what to expect over the next few weeks and months. An invoice was sent to my email after the visit, and I was able to pay online. Moved into a new home several months ago. Well the honeymoon is over, and with the weather change we've found a few bugs and - UGH! EEK! - a spider. Time to find a pest control provider. I called several companies, national and local, to get rates and service frequency. They pretty much all offer the same recommendation of every other month and anywhere from $89 to $99 per service after a one-time $149 to $169 initial service. While speaking with another company I was advised by the representative to be sure to look at their reviews because they're proud of their reputation. Turns out the company is highly recommended just like they said, but then at the top of the list was EcoGen. Reading a little I decided to call and check with them. I left a message and received a prompt return phone call. I spoke with Phil, who I'm guessing is the owner. He shared a little about the company and then went into detail of their service process. When we got to the cost - no initial service fee. Same cost as any other service. Then the monthly fee - also cheaper than the other 4 companies I spoke to. And they're a local, family owned and operated business. Sign me up. Less than a day later a tech sales Cesar came out to the house. He asked questions about concerns and sightings, explained what he was going to do, and then did a thorough job inspecting the home and doing a service spray inside. He then spent about 30 minutes outside walking the perimeter of the property and spray the exterior of the house to prevent entry. At the end he asked if I had any questions. Later on I received an email with details of the work performed and the chemicals used (including quantity). They'll be back in about 30-40 days for a follow up service to build the barrier that will allow every other month service moving forward. They also advised that if I see a bug in between service to call for supplemental service, which comes at no extra cost. Last, they have an app for easy and secure payment of your service fee. You can also see your last and next service dates and a copy of the report they emailed to me. Couldn't be more pleased with the service. If you're shopping for pest control I'm strongly recommending EcoGen. read more

Okay, big shoutout to EcoGen. They were incredibly fast to respond to my initial inquiry for a quote; the owner himself called, who was incredibly friendly, and gave me the whole run down. No hiding the ball or shady business nonsense. Off to a great start. We've had them come out every three months since our first service in July. We live right by a bunch of new construction that was kicking up a LOT of bugs. EcoGen quickly got that under control, came back out to reapply when there was another brief surge in pests, and we haven't had a problem since. They've always been responsive, quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. I cannot recommend EcoGen enough. The ONLY problem is the technician, Mike Clark, who has been the one to come out every time. The guy is so incredible, the 5-star option on Yelp just doesn't cut it. Terrific company. We called them and scheduled a visit and he came sprayed around the inside of our house & garage then outside. I think he said 3' up the wall and 3' out from the base. It's dry in a few minutes and has no harmful effects on our 2 dogs. We have not seen any bugs since they came around. He comes around every 6 weeks or if you see bugs before that they'll come out and spray. Excellent service @ a good price. read more

If you have a service and see bugs afterwards, Ecogen will send a technician back for free to treat the problem, as many times as it takes. Ecogen is also very accommodating when scheduling appointments. Making appointments, even the same day, is as easy as picking up the phone, sending an email, or even sending a text! The technicians also text you when they are on the way to your home, which I definitely appreciate!
