Their pricing is great, the customer service is always fantastic. The communication is always spot on. The monthly service is half that. Truthfully, im not sure if the one time is much more thorough than the monthly. Regardless, no bugs! I found this company on yelp and submitted a request via the company page. Phil responded to me in less than 10 minutes and couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. The next day, Cesar showed up, explained the services and got to work. I thought Phil was nice! Cesar is amazing. I think my mom wants to adopt him. He treated our entire house in less than 30 minutes, paying attention to our cats and not bothered by the fact that our house is getting ready to have a complete kitchen makeover. I put out a job on Yelp and this was the company that I was most interested in as they advertised ECO and their reviews stated they had great prices. Got 4 quotes and this was the one I chose, they came the 2 days later, but offered to come out the next day. I picked the Quarterly plan and paid for the full year in advance with the intention of going to twice a year next year. The Tech came out and he was incredibly friendly and we immediately struck up a conversation as he worked. I cannot recall his name, but he was a retired fire fighter and his grandson was about my sons age. He assured me that everything he sprayed was baby safe and gave me some pointers on preventing bugs from getting in the house. He was bee friendly, which is kind of a big deal to me as well. Just had our initial service done and I was compelled to write this review because I've been impressed with everything so far. Unhappy with our current pest control provider, I sent an inquiry via Yelp and the owner, Phil responded that evening; on a weekend too! Their tech could have come out two days out but we settled on a couple days later due to my scheduling. Phil has been courteous and thorough via email and him being the owner responding to emails is a nice, personal touch. Tom showed up about 25 minutes from the start of the service window and spent about 20 servicing our home after out discussion. Being the initial service, he went over the details of what he was going to treat and how he was going to do it. He started by checking one of the irrigation boxes and walked around the house with me to answer any questions I had about their service. Here's the details that has me raving about EcoGen. Tom is personable and friendly and you can tell that he loves his job other than him telling me...lol. Spraying the exterior foundation is standard but these guys even sprayed behind my storage shed and behind our patio sofa where our previous pest control company simply sprayed around it. He also sprayed the exterior window sills and on the upper retaining wall. Tom then came back around and sprinkled some granules into the rocks that border our home. Then, he came back around with a duster/sweeper to clear any spider webs under the eaves and above the window frames. Before leaving, Tom placed a couple of glue traps in my garage and explained why. It's not so much to kill any residual pests that may cross the chemical barriers but so he can see what kind of creepy crawly critters there are so they know what to treat for in the future. That's research and data collection! So many layers of protection. If I could use one word to sum up their service; thorough and quality. Okay, that's two words. This much care and attention to detail at my home shows me that they are not in it for the quantity of customers like some of the other corporate pest control companies.
