We signed up for the quarterly plan to be safe as this is our first ant infestation and we wanted to ensure they stay away. We were doing our best these last few weeks to use natural home remedies but after we realized there was no way these ants were going away we called EcoGen! They sent over Evan who went above and beyond to make sure my dogs would not only stay safe BUT that these ants would be gone! He took the time to get to know Dixon who is my most sensitive dog and made an action plan of what would kill the ants but still keep Dixon safe! That really made me feel comfortable and helped me relax. If I had the cash on me I would have tipped him for being so considerate but I think lovin' on Dixon made up for it! I LOVE these guys. We had an emergency when we suffered fire ant invasion in our kitchen, which was a nightmare considering our pets. Not to mention we had out of town guests. Recently moved to LV and discovered 4 scorpions in my house in 4 days! My neighbor recommended a pest company to me. First, let me mention Phil. I started a conversation on Yelp to find out about his company since I have heard many good recommendation from others. Phil was very quick to answer back and answered all the questions I had. The price was right and we needed help with some pests coming into our house because of landscape and backyard renovations. I booked an appointment with in 2 days of messaging with Phil. He could have gotten me in the next day, but I was not able to be there. Evan was our initial service tech and he was AWESOME!! I thought he was going to be our regular service tech, but he said he only does the initial treatments. He assured me that our regular tech is a great guy and that our house will be well taken care of. EcoGen does a second treatment about 30 days after the first one so we will see them again at the end of May. Michelle got our account started after Evan's visit. My husband and I are so impressed by the efficiency and WONDERFUL customer service. It is a breath of fresh air with so many problems still lingering after the height of the pandemic. In fact, that is why we called EcoGen. Our previous pest company (if you can call it that). Took a look and sprayed and said they'd be back and after they did not return. The tech that said he was our dedicated person did not return my calls and then his mailbox was full so he couldn't take new messages and then the number was disconnected. Started seeing some bugs that looked like Mosquitos in the house and decided to call EcoGen Pest due to their high ratings and reviews. It was easy to book them for a service, for they communicated quickly and promptly through text. They asked for my email and I set up my account through their portal the same day. They laid out everything about their services and what it covers and answered any questions I had. Love that their products aren't harmful to our pup. The day of service, the office called to let me know that he would be arriving in 15-20minutes. (When I booked service, they advised he'd be here anywhere from 12-2) We were lucky to have Kana as our technician! He showed up around 1pm & He was very polite and explained everything he was going to do so thoroughly. He made sure we were comfortable and respected our home. Big shout out to him. His customer service is awesome and let us know that these are not mosquitos...but little bugs that look like mosquitos who eat them lol! The team was friendly and very helpful in explaining the best options for my home's needs. We have two dogs and were worried the chemicals would harm them. Possibly even us because of the chemical smell I expected from other pest control experiences. Their products did not smell AT ALL. My dogs were not attracted to the areas the product was sprayed on either which made the whole experience very seamless. Would recommend them to friends and family! We opted for the quarterly plan as well for maintenance, but so far the initial visit seems to have done the trick to solve our silverfish problem. Due to the heat I assume, the ants were at it this year and to be honest this has been the worst year since moving into our home. We used every over the counter product and still no success when finally my husband agreed it was time to take it to the professionals. The process was very simple, we explained our issues, we set up a date and time for a specialist to come out, we connected our account, and within two hours the technician was there. Brian was super helpful in explaining the products we they were using and took him time to make sure all the traps and bug spray was laid heavily not only for the ants but any other creepy crawlers! The customer service has been outstanding. Scheduling was very easy and I love that there is an online portal to make invoices clear and payments very easy. It is also pretty easy to get someone on the phone if you have a question or problem. The technician (Tom) who came out listened to all my concerns about which chemicals were being used, and how they would (or would not) stain or impact the plaster/concrete/and custom stucco work. He even was willing to do a small sample area and waited for it to dry so I could feel comfortable that there would be no staining or residue. Moved into this house didn't see a scorpion for almost a year and then all of a sudden I see one crawl out of the outside corner of the patio door by the pool.. so I searched for a pest control company that had good reviews. EcoGen I called & Michelle sent out a guy the next day!! The guy was nice and really informative!! I asked butch Michelle & the guy to have underneath my kitchen sink sprayed.. because of water ants as well.. he did not do it.. he must have forgot!!
