We needed to find a new pest control company because our original one stopped doing services and the last service we had was in October, with spring kicking in, I wanted to get this taken care of as soon as possible. After asking for some referrals, this company's name came up a few times so I decided to contact them. My first person of contact was Derek, one of the managers. He was very nice and asked for details of my previous services, size of the property, and what my concerns were. After a few QA, he gave me a quote for a quarterly treatment and explained exactly what service will include. I was given an appointment right away for a week out. Day of the service appointment: Mark was the person who came to do the initial service. Arrived on time and gave me the details of what he will be doing, which matched Derek's information to the dot. He sprayed the garage, front and back yard, around the exterior of the house. He even put small traps at the entrance of the garage. We completed some paperwork for the payment and also for details on the future services. The next day, I received an email from Ecogen, welcoming us as a new client. The email included the service details, statement what I can contact them any time in between scheduled services if any pest issues arise, and the details of the service costs. When the time came to find a different pest control company, I naturally searched on Yelp. I found 3 companies I thought would meet our needs, EcoGen being one of them. I sent requests for quotes and two answered quickly. I noticed EcoGen had great reviews but sprays every other month; I wasn't sold on the idea. I called EcoGen and happened to speak to Phil, the owner. He explained their system in detail. They spray every other month but if any pests are seen before the next spray they come right out and re-treat the property at no charge. I made an appointment for the next day. Unlike the former pest company who sprayed the perimeter of my house in under 5 minutes, Bryan, the technician was at the house for close to an hour. He sprayed inside the house, outside, the garage, put traps in the garage, removed spider webs from the garage and installed traps on the trees. Later that day I received a welcome letter, a thank you letter and a detailed service report on what products were applied. I am way beyond impressed by EcoGen. Such a good company! I've been a customer for several months now and really like their services. They come to my home quarterly and provide treatment to both the inside and outside. Their pricing is very fair . Their office always contacts me to confirm their appointment times/dates and has been flexible with changing it as needed to fit my schedule. I have been using Eco Gen for years. Their price is competitive and the best I have found. They are animal friendly. On top of that they have added a weed killing spray along with pest control. Reached out on yelp for pest control.Received 3 bids. EcoGen reached out a few days later to see if we had made a decision. We decided to go with them and when they did the 1st spray...it was like no pest control ever did before. My husband was shocked. The tech that came out for initial job did sprayed up the block walls, on our stucco of the house and put Some kind of pellet stuff around the perimeter. A different tech will come out to spray. This was the start up tech. Also put small sticky boxes in the garage for bugs to get stuck in. We always had our pest company but the price doubled over night 3 months ago. Thought we would try doing it ourselves until we found a dead scorpion inside and a huge cockroach on the patio. It wasn't moving very good but any bugs freak us out. This company does not deserve that. Ever since I've been using their service i can not see a single bug crawling around my house. Great company and amazing service. We had an ant infestation and they came out the next day. They explained what was going on (ant super colonies - go figure) and how they were going to fix it. I don't remember the techs name but he was so friendly and professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he genuinely liked his job, which makes a huge difference. He was able to get it resolved for us and we signed up for their maintenance plan so they come out once a month to keep the bugs away. Just had Evan come out and spray the inside and outside of the house. he looked in our irrigation box and found a huge colony of Oriental cockroaches that we never even knew existed. we've been seeing more spiders and scorpions on the property so we figured it was time to get sprayed.
