We recently discovered evidence of termites, and remembering our positive experience, we called him again. He came to inspect the situation very quickly. Honestly, he was available to come the next day, but my work schedule delayed us. He arrived to do the inspection at the time he said he'd be there, and the inspection was quick and thorough. He provided a detailed explanation of our situation and the steps he'd need to take to address it. His explanation left us very confident that he knew what he was doing. The next step, soil treatment, was scheduled on the day of the inspection. That day he arrived on time and knocked it out. Some of the work he needed to do involved drilling through our foundation but this left no mess at all. What little foundation dust there was, he cleaned up. We felt the estimate was reasonable, and our final bill was exactly what he quoted us. The guy is super personable, explains everything in a detailed way, and is very efficient.

I was fortunate to learn about Story Termite & Pest Control. I called the office, and explained the lack of service we had, what I was looking for and what Story could provide. They put in contact with our technician, Brian who meet me at the house. We walked the perimeter and I explained what we had in terms of bugs and those pesky ants that always seem to get inside certain areas during the warm summer months. While there was an initial cost, I was happy to pay it to start our service. It's 6 months and Story has been to the house three times. Minus the flies during the summer months, we've been very happy with the service we have received. There are broken tiles now. Then the office lied and said that we had signed a waiver and said that we had stated we were going to replace the roof anyway....which is a complete fabrication. I never said that to them. Then they got their little feelings hurt and walked off the job when we called them out on their screw up. I would not EVER call this company, EVER.

Hired for interior and exterior mouse abatement, and their "foundation sealing" which was to ensure…read moreno further mice got in. As explained to me, the foundation is sealed so no more mice are let in. Then in the ensuring 4 weeks of mice abatement, the rodents inside the home are caught. Only the foundation was never sealed during those 4 weeks. Technician never did a thorough examination, even after calling on Week 5 since tech never showed up on week 4. I spent 3 hours and $75 doing the work myself that I paid around $400 for someone else to do. Told all this to management, no offer of refund. They even told me that the sealing of the home comes at the end, since they don't want rodents getting poisoned outside and then have them crawl in and die in the home. Which doesn't make any sense, since if they did their best to seal the foundation, mice wouldn't get in after the poison, and leaving the foundation unsealed for 4 weeks would let all the mice in. Very disappointed for a company that has been in operation here for so long.
