I feel that any time you hire a small business, especially a family owned business, and you see how hard the owners and employees work to satisfy their customers, you should spread the word when you are happy with their service. I was lucky to have a friend who felt the same way and recommended Econo-Line Movers to me. I have used them twice; once to move my father from a large home to a much smaller retirement community apartment, and the second time to move him from the retirement community to assisted living. The movers were prompt, friendly, and efficient. They got the job done quickly and quietly, and they handled every item (even the junky stuff) with great care. The second move was complicated in that the items were being delivered to either the apartment or a storage garage and had to be packed in the truck accordingly. One thing that is important to mention is that the movers were very aware that they were moving large bulky items in environments with busy hallways and elevators where elderly people were moving by walker, scooter, or wheelchair---so they were extremely cautious and courteous. In the past I have had movers who used their muscles more than their minds, and the process was hasty and disorganized, adding stress to an already crazy day. With Econo-Line I really felt they put thought into everything they did but still worked diligently. I didn't have to micromanage them or stress out because I trusted their judgment. They demonstrated their experience in the way they dismantled and assembled the furniture quickly and in the way they protected the items from being damaged inside the truck. In the first move I had a walk-thru estimate of the house contents and in the second move I discussed over the phone what needed to be moved and in both cases the final bill was under the estimated cost. I really thought with both moves I would have paid more. I was given a very detailed bill and I thought the pricing was very fair. I was very impressed with the owners of Econo-Line because they called me after the move to make sure everything went well and I was completely satisfied. I used Econo-Line Movers, INC to move out of my condo and into our first house. I choose them because my parents used this company a few months ago and had a wonderful experience. Tom completed our estimate, and he was extremely friendly and personable. The estimate was very reasonable and in line with the final cost (actually less due to moving faster than anticipated). The movers arrived 10 minute early and introduced themselves and did a brief walk through prior to starting. There were a total of 3 movers, and each one of them were friendly, professional, and hardworking. They had a systematic way of moving everything, and they addressed all of my requests during the move (i.e. The master bedroom in our new house had new carpeting, and I asked them to lay down blankets so there shoes weren't on the new carpet), and they were very efficient. Although I didn't have a long move, and considered renting a truck, something told me to look into various companies for quotes. After meeting and speaking with many movers down here in the Monmouth/Ocean County areas, I decided upon Econo-Line movers in Red Bank. What set these guys apart from other companies was the personal touch and genuine care- not only for my posessions, but for my family as well since this was somewhat difficult for the children. Their pleasant smiles, especially the reassuring one from Fred, helped put us at ease. These movers not only packaged everything up delicately but moved the posessions carefully, methodically and quickly. Econo-Line movers were my angels in disguise. We needed a lot of boxes moved down 3 flights of stairs on very short notice and these wonderful men came to our rescue. These guys are good! I came from Brooklyn where there are tons of moving companies. A family friend of mine in Manalapan suggested these guys and at first I only wanted a local moving company by me, but there were none! So I went with these guys and I was very surprised... I was expecting a little damage with my things since that tends to happen but not one scratch on furniture or anything. I thought that this would be an all day process but they were quick, quick and didn't break anything. Getting out to where I live I thought would be a problem with them getting lost and all that but they got there only a couple of minutes after me, and they even took the Belt Parkway! We were lucky enough to receive an offer quickly on our home and the buyer wanted to close and occupy the house in a very short time period. Everything happened much more quickly than expected. We were caught off guard and unprepared but thanks to the professionalism of the people at Econo-Line it all worked out. They took care of the whole move for us. Their crew showed up with the trucks on time and did exactly what they said they would. Just finished my second move with these guys from New Jersey to New York this weekend and it went so great.
