Well. The reviews are TRUE and TRUE! Besides this not being a good place to stay... the management is horrible. Let's begin HERE... I arrived in town after not seeing my father since the beginning of Covid. I booked here ONLY because my senior citizen passenger had a small pet. I arrived in town to receive an email stating that my reservation had been canceled. When I called the hotel- the manager informed me that I could no longer "stay" there because of an incident that happened in 2015. NOW- let's go back to 2015- In 2015, my mother, my small child and I booked a room here (because of a pet) and upon arriving at the hotel (at 1 am - after a LONG day of traveling and family events) we discovered ROACHES!!!! I notified the front desk and they bought me THE can of roach spray. We packed all of our belongings and put everything in the car- we TRIED to get a little sleep but we couldn't- we checked out after a very short nap. When I spoke to the manager (the same one who canceled my reservation this past weekend)- she basically tried to argue me down and made excuses for the roaches... even saying they were there because of humidity- (blank stare). I requested my money back- she gave more excuses and then offered 10% back. I explained why that was NOT good enough... ROOOOOACHHHESSSSS! and she continued to refuse me. I called corporate and then had to threaten to share my experiences via social media (which I did not- because the reviews were already bad enough)- FINALLY- she refunded my money. SOOOOOO- now, I have discovered my name is on the BANDED or BLACKLIST for this DIRTY motel. I didn't say anything then... but I'm saying it now. HOLES in the walls, BURN holes in the blankets and sheets, Rooms were NOT properly cleaned, walls were dirty, roaches and other DEAD bugs, Mold in the corners and on the walls, TRASH piled up outside in the breezeways, and the worst.... a horrible GM (Rinku) who would rather ARGUE with guests over the experience she has provided rather than use the feedback for improvement. It's clear she is taking advantage of the fact that there are limited hotels in the area. The fact that she would BAN me from staying somewhere because I was one of the people who had the nerve to complain says a lot about her. As I read through the other reviews- I wonder HOW the corporation continues to allow her to be so disgusting. And to cancel my reservation an hour and thirty minutes before my arrival - with no phone call - on a holiday weekend - shows what type of character she has. So- my advice - if you can find another place to stay- do that! If you HAVE to stay here- bring your roach spray and thick skin if you complain. May the odds be forever in your favor! BTW- Please don't bother to reach out Rinku- because I know you will only make excuses. Just do better by your paying customers! Your motel has potential.

Terrible customer service; suspect personnel hanging out in the parking lot; not the cleanest of hotels either.

There was what looked like Cheetos stains on the bed when we checked upon arriving (I checked the reviews after I booked it) the bedding was all stained, had hairs on it, trash behind the bed, live spiders living in a web in the tub, holes in the wall, mold/mildew everywhere, paint separated from the wall peeling, the vents were covered in dust, shower drain had lots of hair in it, no sink stopper, coffee making looked gross on the inside. I've never been in a hotel this disgusting before.

I stayed the first time in September , 2024, no problems. The room seem to be newly renovated. On Oct. 12, 2024, a different story. The room was quite different, carpet dirty, bathroom door inside bathroom busted and outside of same door mirror cracked. I took pictures and brought it to the attention of the front desk. I was given a copy of the report. The first stay was on the 1st floor and the 2nd stay was on the 2nd floor, which had no elevator. The price for what I got was Ridiculous. I will never stay there again. I see since I stayed their price went up. The staff is the most friendly and kind people. Everyone so respectful and helpful.

There is no official front desk, so we spoke with the people at the stand by the parking lot, and they were able to share information and assist bringing my parents' bags to their room, up a flight of stairs. There's a small sitting area on the balcony outside the rooms, and each room has its own unique decor. We love the eye for detail and design. Our room is The Hamptons, with two double beds and a separate room with TV and sitting area and desk (though it is open to the bedroom because no doors exist in the doorway; it would be cool if they had sliding doors to separate the spaces). The bar downstairs is lively and fun with amazing cocktails and a few small bite options, and it operates from the backyard yard of the Inn, so be prepared for a bit of noise from that and the street to filter into the room especially on weekends. This bar doubles as the Concord Espresso House that serves amazing espresso drinks and pastries in the morning. The indoor seating is low key elegant, a great spot to sit and start your morning.

The room was clean and spacious which made it easy to relax after a long day of traveling. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated how quiet the hotel was even being close to the highway. It's definitely a great stop if you're traveling and need a place to unwind. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Check-in was smooth, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt modern and well-kept. Breakfast was available, which was convenient, though the selection could be a little better depending on your expectations. Still, it was nice to have that option before heading out. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Lumberton. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I was given a room on the top floor and even given a recommendation for dinner. When I arrived, there was a baby shower in the lobby, and possibly a family reunion. My room was large and almost clean. There were two white substances on the counter. It didn't photograph so well in the light, but one I took without the light on. It appeared to be missed in cleaning the counter. The WIFI was great, and there was a good selection of television stations. I could hear some of the traffic from the highway, so I adjusted the fan to stay on to buffer it. But it wasn't an issue I first thought it would be. The hotel had a pool and a small fitness room. Breakfast was great. When I got there, the lobby was full of high school or college students heading to a robotics competition. It was hard to find a seat. But waffles, breads, cereals, oatmeal, as well as hot foods were offered. I believe there were yogurts and some fruit as well. The breakfast area was well attended to, and she kept the selections stocked. I am planning a return here in May and hope for another great stay.
