I usually research my purchases a month in advance before I buy them. I always seem to find better deals and find better purchases when I do this. I am also an avid online shopper but I took a stab at getting quotes by best-rated tire shops on Yelp. My thought process was: support our community if the price was right. Or at least reasonably priced to online prices with shipping and installation. I was looking for certain tires for my car and was getting out-the-door quotes from many shops. Scott gave me a great price compared to other shops and was fine with me getting quotes from other shops. He quoted me quite a difference from other shops and sorta close to online but online didn't include labor, removal, and installation. I called him back and he proceeded to order my tires. I asked, "How much do I need to deposit?" and he told me, "Do not to worry about it". Well alrighty then! After getting my info and hanging up, he called back 1-2 hours later and said my wheels will be in tomorrow afternoon. I can come in anytime. I told him Saturday. Showed up to the shop with 2 1/2 rows of cars waiting to be serviced on a Saturday morning. Scott greeted me in a friendly manner. He remembered my name and the price he gave me, awesome. I expected a wait and Scott apologized. I told him I expected it from what I saw in the parking lot. From the waiting room, I looked out the window and noticed the shop allowed the owners to stand outside and observe the process (which was a good sign) . The workers were busy but efficient. My car got new tires and I proceeded to inspect the dates. I was skeptical about his prices and how fast he got them. They were manufactured very late 2014 which was great! Scott asked if I was happy and I said, Very. While paying, I was curious about the business and asked a few questions. Scott spoke fondly of his business and staff. I'm not sure if he's the manager but he sure acted like it. He said It's a family oriented staff that has their differences but in the end, they're family. I am glad I didn't buy these tires online. I rather work directly with the business. No middleman. Thanks again Scott and crew of Econo tires. tl;dr great attitude and business. I would gladly support them than buy online. I came to this shop after going to Firestone about a mile and a half away. I had multiple nails in my tire that Firestone said cant be patched. They recommended I buy a new tire at a high price. So I took my business elsewhere. Seen the great reviews about ECONO and decided to give them a try. 15-20 minutes later my tire was patched for a fraction of the cost of the recommended tire price at firestone. Our front right tire developed a flat, so we stopped by here to get a path job done. It was a Monday afternoon and all but one of the bays was occupied. The guy had us pull up to the one empty bay and took the flat tire to assess. It took them less than 10 minutes to assess the tire for all possible holes, patch it, put it back, and refill the air on our spare before putting it back in the car. Great, fast service. Went in today, and had not one but two guys work on my tires, done in about 15 minutes. Yes, 15 MINUTES. And of course, you can watch everything going on, so no mystery as to what is happening. He knows them well. He also is just a really great customer service guy who gets it. He figured out I did research and let me have what I wanted and it was all very stress free. Commercial Noise: Tires are black, round, rubber and you can buy them anywhere. What else is there to know? Through normal wear and tear, a tire's tread will wear down. When the tread is too worn, it's time to buy new tires. The number of miles you can expect to put on a set of tires before they reach this point varies widely. Some tire treads are quite soft; others are intended to endure extensive driving. When shopping for tires, this is yet another variable to consider to find the best match for your driving style. There are two ways to tell if your tread is still at a safe level. First, look for the tread-wear indicator bar that appears on all tires. This bar is set at a 90 degree angle to the tire and is 1/16 of an inch higher than the rest of the tire. When the bar is even with the tire, the tire needs to be replaced. The other way to check your tire's tread is to take a penny and insert Lincoln's head into the tread. Also the worker explained that he would not service my vehicle next time because they had a difficult time with the sensors even though it still wasnt done correctly because the sensor light came on as soon as I drove off the lot. This place is great! My passenger front tire kept losing air, so after reading the reviews on Yelp; I decided to check this place out. I went in and explained my situation to Scott at the front desk and he told me I can park my car at one of the bays in the far corner. Within 5 minutes of parking my car, Tony came to help me. He had me turn my handle all the way to the right and told me to backup slowly to inspect the whole tire for me. He showed me what appeared to look like a nail, but when we looked closer it was 2 heavy duty staples inside the tire. Tony said it will be $10 to patch it up and he fixed everything in 5 minutes and also made sure the tire pressure was back to normal. The whole process only took 10 minutes and I only paid $10. I was quoted an outrageous amount from another shop for repairs that Econo Tire found that I didn't need at all. Thanks to Jerry's conscientious and fair analysis, I was saved thousands. Purchased tires from Goodyear.com, selected this dealer for installation. Once I arrive at my appointment I park and there's no acknowledgement from anyone. Ok, that's fine. I make my way inside and alert the cashier that I have an appointment, he ask me for what.. Automatically I think, "shouldn't you know!" I let him know for four tire installations, he lets me know he has no idea. I show him my email and he says he NEVER got the order, after 2 minutes his memory comes back and tells me that HE RETURNED them. I question him and says billed and some bs. Clearly buddy if you're doing business with Goodyear you should know what's going on. Then he offers me "HIS" same tires for less! I don't know if he missed out on his morning coffee but this man wasn't functioning at 11am. read more

This review comes late, I came in a few months ago for 4 new tires. I had done some shopping around before coming by, and when I finally did and asked how much for a set they immediately offered the lowest price of all the places I searched. And the gentlemen immediately knew off the top of his head which ones would be good for my car and what I was looking for. I was looking for a place that could sell me tires, brakes, and install them all too. Tried America's tire first but that means I would get tires installed first and then go somewhere else to install brakes. Technically I would have to visit 3 stores to get my stuff done BUT I ran into this company and boy was I happy with the results and I got everything done there for a very reasonable price. The owner is very kind and definitely pays attention to detail. I got OEM brakes and great Michelin tires. I had my rims and lug nuts powder coated and I was scared the torque wrench would strip the coating even w me telling them But not even a little bit of stripping. Super happy and to think that some people have put weird reviews that kind of scared me, I don't regret taking the chance and you shouldn't either! Great service very low prices. This will be my 2nd review as econo-tire's dedication to their customers should be commended. I don't know anything about cars.period. and so, when I saw the brake light flashing on my car, I was advised to go buy a brake fluid. Because this is my go-to place for my car problems, I immediately rushed in hoping to buy a break fluid but to my dismay, They unfortunately do not sell one... I was ready to leave when the manager offered to check my car first, found out that it really is just low with break fluid and asked one of the mechanics to pour in some of their stocks. I happily leaped out of my car again, ready to pay for the services but the manager just smiled and told me not to worry about it. Got ANOTHER nail in my tire (second tire in two weeks). This time I went to Econo Tire for my first time and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Told them I just wanted them to repair the tire. Barely had time to go pay the $10 grab a seat and pull my phone out when I see the guy motioning me to come back to my car. I'm thinking....here it comes...he's gonna tell me I need to do this or that and how much more it's gonna cost. Nope...."all done, your good to go". As he went to go check the front office lady came out to ask if I have been helped. After inspection of my car I only needed air in my tires. This has got to be without a doubt the worst customer service I have experienced yet ! Paid for an alignment , came back to pick up my car and talked/thanked the mechanics for their work and left. On the way home, realized nothing has been fixed with the alignment. Went back and confronted the mechanics, and the owner STEVE said they were not able to do the alignment because of an underlying issue with my car. So I said 'so your gonna let me leave after I've paid in full when no work has been done to my car whatseover?' . Steve said that there was a miscommunication between the mechanics. Mistakes do happen, however steve was extremely rude and refused to give any discount or even feel sorry for their mistake. Not only was the customer service the worst I've experienced , steve went on to say if i left a review on yelp 'to go f*** yourself' . Never have I been spoken to like this- especially by a 'business owner'. In all honesty I give this place 0 stars and hope you dont waste your time there like I did. read more
