We agreed to proceed. However, compared to Walters Mercedes-Benz of Riverside, which frequently offers complimentary diagnostic coupons and service promotions, the overall value was not as attractive. I am not certain whether this shop uses genuine Mercedes-Benz OEM parts. In my opinion, aftermarket parts or parts represented as "OEM equivalent" do not match the quality and reliability of genuine Mercedes-Benz dealership parts. I recommend that customers verify exactly what parts are being installed and compare pricing with the dealership before authorizing repairs. The biggest issue that caused this shop to lose my business involved my son's vehicle being diagnosed by Jojo as having flood damage. We filed an insurance claim, and after speaking with the insurance adjuster, I learned that a request had been made for the insurance company to send payment directly to the shop. Because the vehicle was fully paid off, I expected any insurance payment arrangements to be discussed with me first. I was upset because I never authorized direct payment to the shop. After arranging for the insurance payment to be sent directly to me instead, I later contacted Anita regarding repairs to my vehicle. The repair quote I received was significantly higher than I expected, which caused me concern about the overall cost of the repairs. Another issue that negatively affected my experience was a comment Anita made to me: "You are lucky you got part of the adjuster money; you would have gotten NOTHING elsewhere lol." I found that statement unprofessional, inappropriate, and disrespectful. Overall, I strongly encourage customers to compare repair estimates directly with the dealership before authorizing work. In my experience, independent shops are not always less expensive than dealerships. While some shops advertise lower hourly labor rates, the final estimate may increase through additional labor hours or other charges. Customers should also consider transportation costs. Unlike Walters Mercedes-Benz, which provided transportation assistance and a loaner vehicle, Prestige Automotive did not offer me a ride, rideshare service, or a loaner vehicle. As a result, customers may need to pay for rental vehicles or arrange their own transportation, which can significantly increase the overall cost and inconvenience of the repair. You will end up paying more than a dealership for less quality than a dealership . Based on my experience, careful comparison shopping is essential before deciding where to service your vehicle.

I had my son's black 2000 F150 pickup painted, the clear coat had failed the truck has low mileage and the paint job needed to be good and of a quality that would last many year. I know about auto repainting and am capable of doing it myself; as I started painting cars about the same time as Dennis did, I did this for 8 years while I was going to collage . I have been looking for a shop to paint my son's truck for more the four months with estimates from $1900.00 to $3000.00, for the type and quality that I wanted, what most people don't know is with CARB the cost of good auto paint is extremely expansive to meet their regulation and a good two stage paint with base color clear coat and hardener or activator can cost more than $200 just for the paint, this does not include the cost of prep materials i.e. sandpaper making tape and paper primer or sealer I read all of the reviews the few neg. reviews came from people who don't understand painting, the average cost to repaint a bumper with two stage paint is $600. Now that I've explained why I know what a quality paint job is let me tell about the paint job that Darren did oh by the way Dennis doesn't paint any more he has past the baton to his son Darren who knows what he is doing. At the suggestion of Dennis we elected to go with his custom metallic black this was included in the $800 cost (as Dennis says black is not a color.) I also had him spray a little extra clear in case I wanted to color sand and polish. The reason this is done when paint is sprayed no matter how good the painter is it will always have some orange-peel. When I picked up the truck from a distance it was a beautiful black truck on closer inspection and the sun hitting it you could see the metallic with a hue of silver and gold that was awesome . There was so little orange peel that I will not have to color sand and polish. Great job!! P. S. If you want an excellent paint job at a inexpensive price, this is the place. My 2001 Nissan Sentra needed a paint job badly. Years of being exposed to the sun had taken its toll on the silver paint, so I went to Economy Paint and Collision to get an estimate. Dennis and his wife were extremely polite and honest. They explained the different paint jobs they offer which helped me make a decision for my car and budget. There is no BS. They are honest and helpful. At no point did I feel pressured or tricked into accepting an expensive paint job. They answered my questions and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. I had gone to other places that wanted to sell me the most expensive paint job; it seemed that their main goal was to get as much money out of me as possible. That was NOT the case at Economy. Dennis and his wife were practical and realistic. After meeting with them, I was finished searching. I left my car with them, and when I returned, I didn't recognize my car: the old beaten up Sentra I left had been transformed to a sharp looking car with a beautiful metallic black paint job. I was so happily shocked. I have never written a review for any business in my life before, but I was so happy with the results of my paint job that I wanted to inform other people of this great place. It seems that in today's world, the consumer is a sheep for the wolves; but at Economy, Dennis and his wife, make you feel welcomed and their sincerity and appreciation for your patronage is sincere. Words can not express how pleased and thankful I am for the service and help Economy Paint and Collision provided me with. Anne is beyond helpful in every aspect, I was in an accident which caused damage to my whole front end. My insurance had me going around in circles for two months and I finally came across this shop, Anne was on top on them, and made them re-inspect the car and made sure I received every penny they owed for the accident. I dropped the car off and she took care of everything. They had it for a week and completed everything, the car looks better than it did when I first bought it. The paint job is beautiful and the mechanical work it outstanding. I called often to check up on the whole insurance problem, they never acted like I was bugging or annoying for calling so frequently. This is one of few family owned business that I've come across that really show they care about what's best for you. The work is excellent, they really know what they're doing. If you live in the Riverside or Inland Empire Area, I recommend you take your car here! Don't look any further, this place will meet every need and question you have. Where do I start? I brought my truck into this pain shop because I read some of good reviews from yelp. I needed to get a chip repair on my bumper and the lady gave me an estimate of the cost for it as well as getting the defects out of my bumper around the front plate... Well let's just say the chip was fixed but the defects around the plate were still there.. Plus she told me that few defects because around the bumper were going go away too since they have to paint it entirely... They did horrible job on it and in my honest opinion it looks worst than it was... Granted I did have an accident in my truck last year around January but I didn't notice all of these small defects until now... Moss Bros did the job... But this shop written it down that they would take care of them but didn't... This is BS... They got whats coming next... If I were you I wouldn't take my vehicle here...They maybe cheap...But you know the old saying. You get what you pay for!... ...This is place nothing more than an old mom and pop shop...Its filthy and not secured at all... I was worrying and had 2nd thoughts the whole time my truck was there since its locate on outskirts of middle no land....smh.....Take my advice...Stay away!! read more

All i can said is Economy Paint and Collision is AMAZING!!!!, and they deserve for more than five Star. Brought my 04 black mercedes in with pretty much scratch all around the car with the trunk that need some body work on it for the estimate and met with Dennis and his staff Anne. The estimate was much lower than the other place and was promise to pick up the car within one week. At first i was surprise and don't believe that they would finish my car within one week and also worried about their work quality on my car. However, i decided to try them out anyway and dropped off the car on sat morning and the next Friday was received a phone call from Anne and was told that my car was ready to pick up. When i pick up the car, my first look to my car was wow!!! and very surprise to see my car look very nice like when i first bought it at the dealer. The body work was real nice and the paint job was very good as expect. Anne also advice how to take care of the paint and it would last for long time if i take a good care of it. Darren also very helpful when he and his team tried to put the grill on the car and add extra mile to make my car look very nice. Wow, these guys are Amazing! We have a 2002 Chevrolet 2500 HD Truck that we have loved since we bought it used several years ago. Over the last couple of years the paint was absolutely going to crap. We couldn't afford what you would normally think a good paint job would cost but didn't want to have some kind of cheesy job done either. We had heard about Economy Paint from a friend and decided to give them a try. When we picked up the truck we were truly amazed at the quality of the job they had done and knowing the inexpensive price we paid made it feel that much better. If anyone knew my wife and how picky she is, they would be surprised to hear her say how happy she was. Every since we have had the truck home we have gotten tons of compliments on it and when we tell them what we paid, they can't believe we had such a great job done for that price. The owners and staff are Proffesional, yet very easy to talk with. Everything they told us they would do was exactly what they did plus taking care of a couple extra things that came up during preparation at no extra expense. There were no hidden or extra fees. 5/5 Stars - Absolutely Incredible Value and Service! I just got my Mazda 3 painted here, and I am blown away by the results. The car looks brand new! I got 2 base coats and 2 clear coats along with painting my mirrors gloss black for just $2,180 total. Maaco tried to charge me $3,500 for a worse warranty and one less layer of clear coat. Choosing Economy Paint and Collision saved me over $1,300, and the quality is outstanding. If anyone loves this deep metallic green and wants the same color, the paint code is 42201! The owner, Anne, and her son were really nice and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. They even wrote out specific washing and waxing instructions on my receipt to help me protect my new paint. The quality of their work shows exactly why they have been in business for 40 years. They stripped off my old, bad clear coat and prepped everything perfectly. For an extra small and understandable fee they painted my mirrors gloss black (added into the total $2,180 so it's even less expensive if you don't do what I did), and the car looks amazing in the sun. My wife was hit on the left side of our 2013 Maxima. It looked fairly minor but all of the estimates I received were over 2500. I looked all over for a good deal and stumbled on Economy. I have to admit I thought twice when walking onto the dirt lot and into the tiny office that looked as if it had been furnished in 1973. I'm glad I stayed, I had a great conversation with the owner Dennis and I felt right away that I was at the right place. Dennis and his wife are just good people and you get that feeling right away. Based on that I decided to let them do the job. When I picked up my car I was impressed it looked just as good as I was hoping for. Dennis is very clear as to expectations and charges you accordingly. If you expect the job to be top notch well then you need to be clear as to your wishes. I was very clear and Dennis charged me accordingly and the result was everything I wanted. You can't even tell it was hit and by the way my high expectations cost me half of what the other people wanted. This is a great little family business with a great business model. Would have rated higher if I could. WOW! I think that sums up my experience. I very rarely leave reviews but in this case just felt I had to. I am pretty picky and so I thought my reviews may not be fair to the business I am reviewing. That is definitely not the case with Economy. If you are looking for good old fashion customer service, honesty and an amazing product/service you have found the place. I took in a 2000 Silverado with bad sun damage and what I got back was an extreme make over. If you are no longer proud of your vehicle and want to be then my advice is to stop looking and call for an appointment today. Think I am kidding; I just left other car there for them to do their magic on. Just call Dennis and tell him what you want and then do what he says, you will be amazed of the result, happy you did and proud of your vehicle again. Even the cat was nice! This place is truly worth a visit if you need paint and body work. I have a 2003 mustang that my son and I have been bringing back to life over the past couple of years. I really wanted to paint it, but it was always cost prohibitive unless I wanted to use one of the big chains, and a low end paint job. This was not the case with Economy Paint and Collision. Dennis worked with me on price, and was very straight forward and honest when it came to where I could save money, and what would cost me more than it was probably worth. I did some work myself such as removing lights, mirrors, spoilers, grille, badges, and old vinyl stripes so they deducted all of those items from the original itemized quote. Dennis, Anne, and Darren (I hope I spelled their names correctly) are great to work with, and they tell it like it is. They did some custom stripes for my car and I could not have asked for more. The car is a real head turner, and I get comments and compliments on it continuously. I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. They are quality people that produce a quality product. We recently had our 1995 Toyota Camry repainted at Economy Paint and Collision (EP & C). Seeing the marvelous end product, we are simply thrilled because the 'magic' they did resulted in something beyond our expectation! The car looks as good (if not better!) than when we first purchased it in 1995 from the dealership. In terms of professionalism, affordability/cost, workmanship, attention to the smallest detail, reliability/honesty, expert advice and support throughout the entire process, we would rate this remarkable family-owned business as the VERY BEST (or 10 on a scale of 0-5 where 5 is best!). When you bring your vehicle in for body and paint to Anne and Darren, your first impression after speaking with them is that they have a lifetime of experience. If you follow their recommendations, first impressions will carry forward in your satisfaction with the delivered product. My recommendation? Go for the additional colorsanding final process as I have done with and without on the two cars I have had painted here and my most recent (pictured) has impressed about everyone. I'll certainly be a return customer. On a third car of mine, I had some lower rocker panel damage (not very visible) and some time on my hands. Anne and Darren were willing to give this repeat customer some real pro advice, and although I am mostly happy with the small repair I achieved with filler, sandpaper and spraycans, what I learned is that an experienced, yet highly reasonable shop like this is easily worth the spend, especially if you want to take pride when you look at your vehicle! I have a 1984 Jeep CJ7, and a 40s Jeep trailer that were in dire need of some body work, and paint jobs. I took my trailer in with my Jeep for estimates on both. After talking with Ann, and Darren, I left my trailer that day. They were straight shooters, to say the least. Rare these days. My Jeep also needed a respray on the hardtop. I told Darren that I was going to roll it on myself, and he showed a sample of what he could do with it. It was a no brainer. I went with his suggestion, and l'm glad he gave me that option. When I brought my Jeep in, I picked up the trailer. The trailer looks great. I couldn't be happier. When I picked my Jeep up, I was impressed with the work they did. The top looks awesome. I was searching for a paint shop near my area and I came across this place with awesome reviews and boy am I glad I did because I ended up taking my Mitsubishi GTO to get it painted (From gloss black to Dark Grey Metallic) and have dents removed. I met Anne (such an awesome lady!!) She gave me an estimate. When I came back to drop my car, she decided to give me a few freebies for dents (I really appreciate it Anne!!) I was nervous and anxious to see how it would turn out. My car was ready in 6 days and I had a big smile when I saw my baby. I wanna thank Anne and all the other hard workers for their labor. What I was quoted is what I paid. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family! Also, What I love about this place is that they encourage one to save money rather than saying "You should buy this or add that or consider our expensive package". I took my 99 acura tl here to get it painted due to having heavy oxidation on the hood trunk and roof. They were very helpful, giving me options to either have them do the prep work, or I can save myself some money doing some of the prep work myself. Since I was on a budget I opted to do some of the prep work myself. These people were great, showing me what type of sander and sand paper to use as well as what it should look and feel like when I'm done sanding the oxidized areas. I don't think you will find any paint and body shop that will give you advise on doing that let alone give you the option to do some of the work yourself to save you money. After dropping off my car turn around time was only 2 days!! And the paint job they did was great. I couldn't of have been happier with the service, price, and work they provided. If you are in or near riverside ca and you need body work and/or paint, then stop googling and call these people. they are quick and do their job well and they are inexpensive. Everywhere else wouldnt even give an estimate over the phone and the ones that did were ridiculously overpriced. Also, when I called other places, it would almost always be a secretary on the phone and not anyone that could assess anything over the phone. This place has the owner answer the phone and he knows what's up. I hit a patch of ice in Big Bear and destroyed my front bumper and backer bar as well as the right front fender. These guys got the parts, painted them, and fixed my car ridiculously fast and well. It took them about 24 hours to get the parts and have them painted and then when I took my car in it took another 3 hours or so of work. These guys really saved my ass. Stop looking at other places and just go here, there is no place better. read more

I decided to post a different kid of review, one that reviewed their paint in the test of time. Okay, I first heard of this place on craigslist back in february 2013 and i honestly wasn't expecting much for the price. I had done some research and they had good reviews, pictures, service, all that good stuff but never on how long the paint lasted or if it was durable. So, i decided to give them a chance and boy was i impressed. They had the job done quick, and it was amazing. Most people could NOT believe how much i payed because of the quality of the job. I paid for the ACRYLIC URETHANE and even now, 4 months later my paint still looks as fresh as out of the booth, and thats with a wash once a week and wax every other month. Although Dennis and his his wife can be a little sarcastic, they make you feel welcomed and they and theyre team DEFINITELY know what theyre doing. Id trust them with any car. 5 Stars read more

First thing I can say is this place is really amazing...I was looking for a place for a paint job but I couldn't find anywhere great with good price esp my budget was low. I searched everywhere but I couldn't find anywhere that matches what I wanted. And then I remembered that I actually have heard of this place before from my friend and he told me that the price was good, people are so nice and also the job is really great. I felt like it could be far from where I live but since my friend recommended me to try, I did. People, they are so nice and friendly, they really know what they are doing. There were so many people came in and they were so nice to everyone. The paint job, that was amazing too. Really great work and I loved it so much. Took my 2013 Hyundai accent in after an auto collision. Ruined my driver door, side view mirror, and front fender. The atfault drivers insurance paid for everything and they did a great job communicating with them, me, and the rental agency. Great shop. Very informative. They cared to make sure the insurance would cover all damages of the wreck. I have to thank Anne and Dennis for the great job, as well as the painters. I left with a smile and my car looking 100% better. I couldnt be more happy with how my car turned out. Haha and oh yeah they have cats. As ive seen a few say in other reviews. dont lets looks deceive you they show where their money goes when your car comes out looking amazing.
