My situation was tricky because the damage was very close if not over the value of the car and I did not want to total my car out which I was told by other shop would be the case and there was nothing I could do about it. I want to give a special shoutout to the owner Johnny who was extremely helpful and pleasant during the time we came in yesterday. Earlier in the morning, I called Johnny who advised us to stop by for an assessment of the damage to our vehicle. He mentioned that it would be a complimentary service if it was a quick and easy fix. True enough, when we brought in the vehicle, he took care of it immediately without charging us. In less than 15 minutes, our front bumper was fixed and popped back up to align with the other side. Johnny is a real blessing to us. Other companies were planning to charge us a minimum of $350, claiming it needs several hours of work. Johnny is truly one of the most honest and nicest gentleman you will ever meet. He even opened the door for my wife, drove our car into the shop and wished us a wonderful day at the end of the repair service. I went through insurance on this gig so value was not as big of an issue to me, but I would certainly feel safe coming here for a cash gig. All of the pricing and work decisions were very fair. I find this shop is large enough to provide whatever services you need, yet lean enough that you feel like you are being treated well as an individual customer. The team is willing to communicate with you as needed to ensure you are comfortable with the whole gig. I do not know the business owners or anything like that, but just towed here somewhat blindly after dealing with an inoperable vehicle. I had my Model 3 exterior door replaced here. Christian was very honest about their work and they gave me a pretty good discount for this repair. I had a dent/deep scratch on my car that required serious fixing. I initially went to a guy that "repaired" my door. All he did was put holes on my door, paint it over and left me hanging. When Christian saw the flaw in this, he immediately contacted me through Yelp and told me that the bad repair job will last me 2 years max. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! FB HAS THAT WRONG!! I took my car to Jurupa Valley collision because of the 5 out of 5 star reviews. What a HUGE mistake that was. I'm beginning to think they write their own reviews. I took my car in on Feb. 15th to fix damage & get a new paint job. I also bought nearly all new parts for the exterior for them to put on. I was told it would take 3 weeks. I had been speaking to Johnny about my car since November 2023 and I explained to him that my car is my most prized possession & that I take so much pride in it & I was wary to leave my car with anyone because I never have in the 10 years I've had it. He assured me over and over again that my car would be in good hands. The day I dropped it off I told them please just give me my car back with my interior in the same condition it is now. Not only did I get it back with a CRAPPY paint job in every way possible (my $250 mayco paint job I got in 2006, was better than this) but they managed to damage just about every part of my car. The paint job had scratches & swirl marks everywhere. It had nicks in the paint, places where they didn't put enough paint, so it was white, several places where it had white marks & scratches. Going up the whole drivers side above my window there was some kind of residue on my paint. Some of the brand new molding & trim pieces I bought are already scratched & marked up, they didn't properly put my passenger side roof molding on so it looks like crap. I told them I would buy aftermarket body side molding after realizing the oem ones were discontinued, & told them my dad & I would put them on but they assured me they would take them off, retape them & make them look great. We'll they look like CRAP! The tape is coming off & it looks horrible. They damaged both of my new headlights, put really bad marks on both of them underneath where the hood is & put a big mark on the front of my passenger side headlight. Not only did they manage to damage the tint on both of my passenger side windows, they damaged my passenger side front glass. it's got tons of surface scratches. They put scuffs, nicks and scratches on both of my door panels, they put surface scratches on my touch screen. After getting my car back the 1st time I contacted Johnny to let him know how upset & dissatisfied I was. He told me to bring the car back so he could fix the paint, my headlights, door panels, body side molding & tint. I told him the day I dropped it off that I wanted the same tint, same shade. He ended up getting tint that is way lighter than it was before & it doesn't block out the sun at all, which is the reason I get tint on my vehicles. I asked him why he didn't get the same shade & he never gives me a reason. They took the marks off the headlights under where the hood is but they didn't take the big mark off my front passenger light so I had to pay my professional detailers to buff it out. He didn't fix my body side molding, now it looks even worse because the tape is coming off and it's separating from the body of my car, he tried to tell me it was only the tint he damaged & not the glass, I tried to tell him it was the glass but he didn't listen. It is the glass because there is still tons of surface scratches. He assured me that he would fix my door panels somehow but he didn't. This entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE!!! I have told him about all the parts of my car they damaged & sent pictures & he's seen it in person, but he says I'm being difficult & he's not responsible for paying me to fix them. HIM AND HIS GUYS DAMAGED MY CAR, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY TO FIX MY CAR AND MAKE IT LOOK THE WAY IT DID BEFORE I BROUGHT IT TO THEM. They even managed to damage my license plate & break the clip in my engine compartment that holds the hood rod in place. I HAVE PROOF OF EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HAVE TONS OF BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES OF MY CAR!!!! EVERYONE who knows me, can ALL VOUCH for me that my interior with the exception of paint rubbed off some buttons was in immaculate condition. Several parts of my car are damaged now because of them! I have more pics. HE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD TO FIX BOTH OF MY WINDOW REGULATORS, HE ADDED AN EXTRA $150-$200 TO THE FINAL PRICE THEY HAD GIVEN ME. NOT ONCE DID HE EVER CONTACT ME TO LET ME KNOW THERE WAS ANY ISSUE. IF HE HAD, I WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM I WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT MYSELF. I JUST PAID $200 TO GET NEW PASSENGER GLASS PUT IN TODAY SINCE THEY SCRATCHED MY GLASS ALL OVER & MY INSTALLER SAID THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY REGULATOR & HE DOUBTS THERE WAS ANY ISSUE WITH THEM. JOHNNY IS FULL OF IT. HE WAS JUST TRYING TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF ME! HE ALSO CHARGED ME ABOUT $254 MORE THAN WHAT I OWED THEM THAT I HAVE ON MY QUOTE! The insurance company gave me the run around and even made me think my ONLY option was to deem it a total loss. Since I still lease the vehicle it would have left me in a very bad position so I went to Johnny for a second opinion. He went above and beyond and even reached out to the adjusters himself to try and compromise with them in an attempt to save my car. He even let me know that they should have me in a rental car (something else they failed to mention) which helped me not be out of a vehicle while everything was getting settled. Jurupa Valley Collision So my journey with this company started in February 2021. I had some specific requests for repairing my 90s era vehicle I had been trying to slowly restore. The doors sagged and didn't close well. I really felt they needed some professional body shop attention to fix the hinges and align the doors correctly. I reached out to a few local body shops and the owner of Jurupa Valley Collision, Johnny, was friendly and responsive. Johnny was open to repairing the hinges and removing the dash in case the door hinges needed complete replacement. There were a few minor things wrong with the HVAC system, like a weak blower and not blowing from the dash vents, that Johnny said he could help with too. A week or so later, when Johnny was removing the dash, the dash broke basically in half. Being an older vehicle and the plastic getting brittle over time, I gave Johnny the benefit of the doubt. Johnny said he was trying to find a used dash from local wrecking yards, but wasn't having luck. I was able to locate a sturdy used dash for a good price and brought it over to the shop. At the time, Johnny said they could clean up the replacement dash really well and even paint as needed if there was any mismatch. I paid a deposit since it ended up being a lot more work for Johnny to replace the dash. I think this is where things started going wrong though, as my vehicle somehow ended up on the bottom of the priority list. A week or so after that, Johnny called me and explained that due to some really tragic circumstances he lost one of his techs. I was concerned about how long the job was taking, being a month in at this point. I tried to be understanding that life has challenges. Johnny asked me to order a product called Dashskin I had been talking about with him that covers the top of the dash, to prevent it from getting brittle and cracking over time so they could install it. I had it sent to the shop. A few weeks later, Johnny called and said he had the dash back on, but was having trouble with the blower and fuses. I asked how the doors were going, since that was the main reason the dash was removed in the first place. Johnny brushed it off and said the doors were going to be fine but he was still working on them. I started to get concerned, but also was really worried about all the new electrical issues Johnny was describing. At the beginning of April, Johnny called and said he was still working on it but it would be done Saturday the 10th. On Saturday the 10th Johnny called and said it would take longer because he needed to replace a brake light switch relay. The following Wednesday April 14th Johnny said it would be done that Saturday April 17th. On Saturday April 17th Johnny called and said it was his birthday and he wasn't able to finish it but that they would be done Monday. On Monday April 19th Johnny called with bad news that they were having trouble fixing the doors. This was especially bad news since the removal of the dash was primarily to fix the hinges. I lost my nerve at this point. Johnny waited until the literal last day to fix the hinges when he was supposed to check them when the dash was out, in case the hinges needed full replacement. On top of that, I now have a three colored dash that was supposed to be paint matched. And on top of that, the dash cover wasn't adhered properly to the dash so it's lopsided forever. I don't know exactly what happened that made repairing my vehicle a low priority, I can't imagine a worse experience than taking a vehicle into a body shop to fix a dash and door hinges and walking away thousands of dollars out with a vehicle that you don't even want anymore that has electrical demons. I still have fuses going out all the time for the blower that I never had before. The doors, while they don't sag a lot anymore and are easier to close still don't line up aesthetically which I think is a basic thing a body shop should be able to correct. If I could give a negative star review I would. I'm still thinking of bringing this to the BAR. read more

My son drives a 2018 Chevy Cruze Hatchback. Over the summer, the right front bumper got disconnected from the frame and there was a tear in the wheel well liner. I did an extensive Yelp search to find out what repair shops in the Inland Empire would do this type of repair. My request for estimates was sent out on July 13. As I started hearing back from various repair shops, I was hit with some unfortunate bad news: there was a national back order on a new wheel well liner. I was first contacted by Jurupa Valley Collision on July 14. Christian, the shop manager, confirmed that there was indeed a backorder on the part, with no date for when a new part could be delivered. But he had found a used liner that was supposed to be in great condition and could be delivered in less than a week. Although I would have preferred a new liner, I wanted to get the repair done as soon as possible. The price was good and the repair shop was local. So, I went with JVC. When the repair was done, JVC did an excellent job and I was totally pleased with the repair. But here is where the story gets weird. The repair was not completed until the middle of August, over a month later. The delay in making the repair had NOTHING to do with JVC. I was told that the liner had been ordered from one of the largest salvage yards in the country. The liner had to be ordered and then reordered several times when the salvage yard failed to deliver an acceptable liner multiple times. Eventually, after a month's worth of frustration, Christian and JVC's owner Johnny had to scour the internet until they found another liner. It this effort that I feel deserves mention on Yelp. Jurupa Valley Collision went above and beyond to meet my needs on a repair that ended up costing me less than $300. Johnny and Christian could have very easily said, "we're sorry," and just given me my deposit back. But they suffered the frustration of waiting for an acceptable part to be delivered several times and then had to go out and find the part elsewhere. If you are looking for an honest repair shop that does great work, I would encourage you to give Jurupa Valley Collision a try.
