Our 2 toilets are now up, and running, and both toilets are properly drained, and they're now flushing great, which 1 toilet suddenly wasn't , the second toilet was fussy for months, and problematic about flushing, so we only used it on occasion, and and months ago we used another rooter service, which turned out to be incompetent and very pricy and they weren't able to fix the other toilet, it still didn't flush, but they still charged a lot, but with Mark and his very nice wife Lee Anne it's working great+ both toilets are drained, and flushing great. The other toilet which suddenly stopped flushing yesterday after we came home from Morro Bay and turning off the 2 toilets , but Mark came this morning and things seeem great. I was given Mark's number from a friend. I made an appointment with Mark the next day, and he came at the time we scheduled. Another plumber had come a couple of days before with a snake and tried to remove the clog, but could not and said he would have to go under the house to change pipe. It seemed expensive and perhaps unnecessary. I said I would think about it. That's when I started calling my friends for advice and got Mark's number. I explained to Mark that another plumber had already come and wanted to change pipe and he immediately asked do you live in an old house and explained the old traps are tight and a lot of plumbers don't know how to deal with them. (There is also the possibility of the first plumber trying to just pretend he couldn't clear the drain, because his snake looked identical to Marks.) Mark came cleared three drains for half the price that the first plumber wanted for one drain. We have another plumbing issue and Mark gave us advice that will save us at least $500, if not much more. My brother was being told he would have to do some expensive work that we now understand is completely unnecessary. He doesn't try and won't do other plumbing work, because he is a drain specialist, so you don't have to worry about him trying to get you to do other unnecessary work. My main drain line was backed up this morning and Mark and Sam were able to come out within an hour of me calling and take care of it for me while my wife was at home. He gave us a lesson on what to flush and what not to flush down the drain. Told us how to avoid scams in the future with other plumbing companies.
