I found Ecopacha Landscaping on Instagram and was instantly drawn to their beautiful work. After checking out their reviews (which were overwhelmingly positive), I decided to reach out--and I'm so glad I did. This was the first big project we tackled after buying our new home, and we were honestly so overwhelmed and nervous. But from the very beginning, Ecopacha made the entire process feel streamlined, manageable, and even enjoyable. Our front landscaping hadn't been touched since the house was built in the 60s--it was completely outdated and in desperate need of love. Manuel came out to meet us and immediately understood our vision. He helped us design a front yard that's not only beautiful but feels like us. And Humberto--he's truly one of the kindest and most patient people I've ever worked with. I had a ton of questions throughout the process, and he took the time to walk me through everything with so much care and detail. Their entire crew was amazing--showing up every single day on time, ready to work, and incredibly efficient and meticulous. Even my neighbors commented on how rare it is to see that kind of consistency and dedication. Every step was smooth, thoughtful, and well-executed. I was so impressed by their dedication and commitment that I decided to add a second project: redoing a part of our backyard fence and garden area to create a play space for our daughter. Humberto took care of seamlessly folding this extra work into our overall project timeline, and the team approached it with the same level of thoughtfulness and care as they did our front yard. It was such a joy to watch it all come together. One of the biggest bonuses? Humberto went above and beyond with our irrigation system--he discovered we had two separate sprinkler systems watering the lawn and fixed it so that only one runs now. That alone is saving us so much on our water bill every month. Any concern or question I had--no matter how small--was addressed right away and with genuine care. It was clear throughout the entire process that they deeply care about the quality of their work and about making their clients happy. Now, our front yard looks modern, fresh, and completely transformed--and I honestly can't believe it's mine. Every time I step out my front door, I'm in awe that this dream yard is ours. My neighbors have all been stopping by to compliment it and ask who we worked with. I'm actually a little sad the project is over because working with Humberto, Manuel, and their team was such a joy. They are truly some of the nicest, most dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. If you're dreaming of a beautiful outdoor space, I can't recommend Ecopacha enough. They'll make your vision a reality--and you'll enjoy every step of the way.

    Completed rebuilt retaining wall

Ecopacha Landscaping was highly recommended and the team (Manuel, Humberto, Juan, etc...) delivered as promised on replacing the failing wood retaining walls on my downslope property. The replacement is now a concrete block-based retaining wall with appropriate drainage and drainage gravel. Their workmanship and attitude for working on a downslope lot is commendable without any complaints. The team is easy to work with and they get the job done within the estimated schedule.

    Deck

EcoPacha did a wonderful job replacing my two decks with redwood and adding a drip system. They were very responsive and have a great crew. I highly recommend them.

Ecopacha's crew came back to fix the areas of concern and if I could give them 6/5 stars I would! Very grateful for the fix and the hedges look wonderful. Thank you!

Manuel, Humberto and their team are fantastic! They are professional, reliable and skilled professionals. We contacted them after we had started a flagstone patio project with another contractor that left us hanging. The EcoPacha team were understanding, while detailing how they would fix the project. They gave a good estimate, and worked us into their schedule so that we could still complete the project by our original deadline. We would highly recommend them for any landscaping project. We love our new backyard!

I love Ecopacha! Manuel, Humberto, and the crew carry great energy and are creative, communicative, conscientious, and do excellent work. Even with my constantly shifting vision, they not only flowed with it, they were able to meet me every step of the way with their own ideas and problem-solving, as we overhauled my ~4,000 sq-ft yard, from wild meadow to drip-irrigated beds and a spiral labyrinth. They treat their workers with total respect and care, which definitely can't be said for all landscaping companies. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

    Backyard After

We are so happy with the work from EcoPacha. They did not have an easy task on their hands but they made quick & great work of our problematic yards. They did both the front & back yard within 2 weeks (that is including a few big rainy days where they still came out at least for a couple hours when the rain wasn't as heavy). They were easy to work with, flexible & open to requests/changes, educated & able to point us in the right direction, among other things. I think the work speaks for itself (see attached pictures). Would recommend to a friend.

We hired Garden Mamas to maintain our mature hillside garden. While we thought it a bit strange…read morethat we had a different crew out most every time, we were assured by Tamara that she had communicated what needed to be done - she was managing the crew. This method seemed to work mostly, although we had to tell the crew each visit what to do, as mostly instructions had been partially communicated. One day, she sent two new people. We told them to trim two bushes on the stairwell and to pick up the leaves, nothing else. This was also communicated to Tamara a few days prior, but like most times, the crew seemed clueless as to what to do. When they were done and had left, we discovered that they had BUTCHERED our garden - most of five++ years of growth was cut away and in a most unappealing fashion. Her crew ripped out plants that a previous crew had installed only a month prior, had trimmed four bushes that were covering an unsightly wall into lollipop shapes, completely exposing the wall, trimmed new growth off of once per season budding plants without any care for shape or aesthetics, butchered slow growing manzanita plants that may never recover, etc etc etc. We were appalled and contacted her. Tamara responded to our concerns, but would not or could not take personal or financial responsibility for making us whole. She told us that the crew she sent was inexperienced and had never worked on a personal, mature garden (only on storage facilities and office complexes), and that she did not have the $$ to replace the plants destroyed or to pay for someone else to replace the plants (as we told her that we could not work with her anymore). We thought about going to the CSLB so that we could at least recover her bond, but did the time/money calculus and finally settled on her paying for two plants to be replaced, at another landscaper's wholesale cost (approx $500). So far, it has cost us over $10000 to get the garden back to where it was, and it will take a few years for it to look as good as it did prior to November 2025. We tried to support this independent, woman-owned business; but her model of a different crew every time coupled with an inability to run her business in a fiscally responsible manner makes it impossible for us to recommend her to ANYONE

The project was completed within the time she estimated. Invoicing/payment process was clear and easy. I provided photos of the types of plants I liked (from other people's yards) and they provided a list of recommendations with descriptions and pricing as well as placement suggestions. I appreciated Tamara checking in on me a a few times after they planted to see how things were going and reminding me to turn off the water during the rainy season. It's seven months later and I am still enjoying admiring and tending to my plants as they grow.

We had a great experience NAB Construction! Our pickleball court had broken concrete on one end,…read moreand was too short on the other. NAB removed all the bad concrete and replaced it with pavers, and on the other side of the court, they added 5 feet of concrete where we had lawn, as well as adding to our existing retaining wall. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project. I'm very satisfied with the results of this project, and would not hesitate to recommend NAB construction to others.

We wanted a walkway installed so we went back but this time we dealt with someone by the name of Nick Vard. He was very unprofessional and used the terms "outside the scope of work" and asked us to make a "commitment" several times. I went to Brickyard on a Saturday at 8AM per the direction of Nick but when I called him about our selection he never called me back. He blamed us and said they lost money on the job because it took longer than expected. He tried to convince me to use a brick I did not like. And the biggest disappointment was the drainage that they left unfinished. We spent almost $10k but we feel like the job is incomplete. Wish we could recommend them but if they continue working with Nick Vard you should stay away.
