It was very expensive to replace the filter so often. Biggest thing I wanted to share was how they caused over $50,000 in water damage from their leaking water filtration in my kitchen.. they accepted responsibility and paid for the first 16,000 of it to get actively growing mold infestation my house after eight months. Finally all the mold in the cabinets and the flooring were removed that were all damaged from the water leak and now the company has refused to return any phone calls any emails. I called every number I could find to try to contact them and left messages to request callbacks and no one would ever call me back and no one would ever call the remediation company back that removed the mold out of my house.

Despite telling the salesman at time of sale that we have a requirement of pre-call to us with no more than a 4-hour window, all we get is an automated call with "next business day" notification. NOBODY calls in advance of the appointment so somebody has to stay home all day waiting for the delivery and service to the conditioner. We had a previously scheduled delivery/service schedule for 12/24/2025 and got the usual "next business day" call late in the evening of 12/23/2025. We intentionally stayed home all day despite it being Christmas Eve Day and having many other things to do. Then NOBODY SHOWED UP. I tried calling the next business day (12/26/2025) and after being on automated hold for over 10 minutes, I got an automated message that the offices were closed for the holidays. I left a very irate message and demanded somebody call me back to explain the lack of service and to provide a 2-hour window for when the service would be performed. NOBODY CALLED. I tried calling again on 12/29/2025 and got a person that could not deal with my issues and that I needed to talk to the local Orlando office which I was forwarded to. To VOICEMAIL again. I left yet another irate message demanding somebody call me back and let me know what was going on and to provide a 2-hour window for the delivery/service. NOBODY called but I did get the "next business day" notification call late last night. We shall see if anybody shows up today, but yet again we are stuck at home all day waiting for somebody to arrive -- if they do. We are paying $29.95/month for what is called Platinum service. I don't think this even equates to Plastic service. If I had it to do all over again, I would not choose a Culligan system if only for this lack of respect from Culligan in support of their products and mostly in support of their Customers which they obviously do not care about. They do not care at all about their Customers and it appears they feel that we are here to comply with their whims.

Fixes ranged from replacing media to cleaning injectors, yet the problems came back over time. It wasn't until CFWT came out did we learn that due to the high concentration of sulphur and low concentration of iron, we needed a different type of media in the filtration system than the one installed. One year they said the air conditioning broke. They managed the tenants very poorly and just blamed everything on my mom. The quote to install a new air conditioning unit was insane, I think they quoted us $5K or $6K and said we got a great deal. I asked to research companies and pick our own air conditioning vendor. They said okay and I found a few great companies with awesome reviews willing to install for half the cost of their vendors. When I brought this up they refused to let us use the vendors we selected, saying they don't work with them. What? Why? Because they are not on a list. That's just ridiculous. Who are we kidding? It's really so they can charge us extra and get a kickback from their own shitty vendors that can't get business otherwise due to poor workmanship and high prices. It's so disappointing to be far away from your property and know that this company will try to screw you in every way possible. My mom sold the condo and it's the best decision so we don't ever have to deal with them again.
