Scheduled to arrive between 1-3, but they were a little late. I contacted them and they replied quickly with updates until the service man arrived. Guy showed up, I pointed out the sink that had been clogged for 8 months. He fixed it up in less than 10 minutes, and spent another 20 putting a new plunger plug in the sink so it wouldn't happen again. I pointed out a second sink that had stopped running, and he quickly assessed the problem as sediment that had built up in the faucet head. He offered to switch it out free of charge, but ended up not having the right size parts in his van. CLR ended up fixing the problem in about 15 minutes and the sink is finally running again! Good communication, quick labor, all told he was here for less than 2 hours. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely call them again for any future problems!!! read more

Needed an old toilet removed and a new one installed. I wanted an old shut off valve changed so there was an extra charge for that and for taking away the old toilet. Very happy. My hot water heater was not working. They were able to quickly diagnose the root cause of the issue was the pressure valve outside the house. The has the part on the truck and Leo was able to fix it on the spot. That fixed my hot water issue as well as the overall low pressure in the house. If I could give Roy and his Team 100 stars, I would. I had a different plumber come out to my home prior to contacting Broadway Plumbing regarding low hot water pressure throughout my home and they determined that it was lime and calcium build up (more thank likely due to the age of our water heater which was 17 years old). They quoted me $1400. I called several different plumbers for quotes and even got a quote from lowes; all quoted between $1250-$1800. I called Broadway Plumbing and spoke with Roy. He was friendly and genuinely helpful. He was able to get a technician out the next day (today). The technician (I don't remember his name, ugh) was so friendly and efficient. He replaced the old heater and replaced it (with one 10 gallons bigger & at no extra cost) within about an hour. The heater came with a 6 year warranty and the total between the unit and labor was about $1k. It's saved me several hundreds of dollars (might not mean a lot to some but it means a lot to a single mom)! I know who I will be reaching out to for all future plumbing needs. When it was time to replace my almost-15-year-old water heater, I had to make several decisions. One was the type of water heater I wanted. After doing some digging around online I decided that a hybrid heat pump water heater would be my best choice. I called 7 companies for estimates. 3 of them didn't want to be bothered. The other 4 gave me written estimates. To be fair, I believe any one of those 4 companies would have done a good job for me. But I chose Brodway Contracting for the job. They were the first to respond to my request, their price was awesome, their communication was fantastic and the guys they had to install the water heater were amazing After the installers left, the unit malfunctioned. We had some repairs to do in the plumbing of our kitchen sink in order to install a new dishwasher and we contracted Brodway Contracting & Plumbing. On our fist call, Roy was understanding of what needed to be done and they came as soon as possible, following our availability. Both Bryan and Gary were very professional, protecting themselves with masks and did the job swiftly. They even helped us with a couple of minor adjustments in the restrooms and shower. Also, when I had an issue with a discount from a website, they explained how they had applied to the bill and were very polite overall. I had a bad experience with Brodway. They came to clear a sewer drain at my Orlando home. The tech took several hours and charged $450 without informing me that it would be that much. I found out from my tenant that they left the blockage debris like sanitary pads in my yard. Ten days later the drain clogged up again, with human waste backing into the shower. It was unbearable. I called Brodway and they refused to warranty their work. I had to hire another plumber who discovered that there was an uncleared blockage in the drain line. To summarize, for me Brodway was incompetent, not open about service costs, and they don't back up their work. read more

WARNING: Request a projected total that includes labor AND PARTS! I was quoted $175 per hour with a 2 hour minimum plus the cost of parts. What was not disclosed was the exorbitant markup on parts. This was a very small job. I was charged $427 for a few couplings, valves, PVC pipe, and shop supplies. The cost was 3-4 times the price of the same parts at Lowe's. Their excuse was that the parts they supply are warranted and they could not guarantee new parts bought elsewhere. After being charged over $1000, we continued to have plumbing issues in the bathroom. We began calling the morning after our service appointment and have YET to receive a call back or have our issue addressed. Tomorrow will be a week and our toilet is still unusable. Finally, instead of carrying his heavy tool bag, one of the guys drug his bag up our stairs damaging the hardwood. BEWARE! read more
