They felt loved, and the staff was so conscientious and caring. I called at different times of the day to check in on my parents and they could tell me at any time exactly how much they weighed, how much they had eaten that day, any medicines they needed, how their mood was etc. They were meticulous with note keeping and so competent. They did the hard things like bathing them and helping with hygiene etc and never once did my parents feel unloved or less valuable. They would talk to them and hug them and really got to know them. I felt so good with the care that they both received. My parents both loved the people there. This facility also very much listens to the family and gets to know what we needed. Sometimes I would be crying as I left if my parent wasn't well and I would be greeted with hugs from Gloria, Ruth or Jane or really any of them. They would talk us through things, the health issues, different normal processes etc. and the hard talks with honesty and integrity and truth. They considered what we as a family wanted with sensitivity. Truly, this place is a godsend!

After a painful back injury that left me unable to walk, I was introduced to Crossroads. I had previously seen another PT but that was not helping, and I was growing despondent. On my first visit, Steve identified the injured region of my spine, performed some manipulations that lessened the pain, and gave me hope that he and his staff could help me to get active again without drugs or surgery. It took a while, but, day by day, week by week, I felt stronger as I went to my appointments and did my stretches at home. Each therapist has their own perspective and style, and each one, by doing their work on my body and teaching me how to take better care of my spine, contributed to the strengthening of my spine and an increase in my confidence and well-being. Fast forward a couple of years, and I twisted a knee. It seemed awfully slow to heal and, though braces allowed me to run a little, it didn't seem to get right, and I feared it was a ligament problem. Thinking again that I might be going down the road to medical intervention, I went back to Crossroads to see if they could do anything. The therapists found some tight leg and hip muscles, worked with me and gave me some exercises, and it began to get stronger and less painful within days. If I could afford it I would go every week to get my spine tuned up and learn new exercises to make my body stronger and more flexible. I have had only positive experiences at Crossroads. The facility is clean and well-maintained, the office staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the therapists are top-notch; knowledgeable, positive, and caring. In addition to the typical PT practice, they work with disabled children, and run a therapy program involving horses. I don't know much about that side of the operation, but I bring it up to show that Crossroads is both a successful business and a group of people who make the world a better place.
