Ecugreen is a new store (for me anyways) in downtown Ventura. It's cute, cozy, colorful, I like the idea of cool eco-friendly items imported from Ecuador. The young guys working here were very nice, helpful and explained us the process of how the jewelry they sell it's made: out of nuts that fall off trees. They sell a bit of everything- cute decorative items, Panama hats, poncho-s, cool bags, clothes and lots and lots of jewelry. Some of the prices are reasonable, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy a few X-mas gifts here (natural look- colorful earrings, and necklace and earring set), more original presents, with a cool story behind (shhhh!). Very nice customer service, fun to browse shop, I enjoyed shopping here. I'll be back next time I'll go to downtown Ventura. Ecugreen is my kinda of a store. One of a kind.

The owner of this shop is delightful. She knows her merchandise and has passion for Ecuador and it's crafts. She was inviting and engaging. I chose a small wallet for a gift. There are one of a kind handmade gifts in her shop. It was very charming.

Don't shop here if you want to be accused of stealing. I was across the street looking in the window of another shop for about 5 minutes when I saw her coming at me in the reflection. She immediately stuck her hand out at me and said "Give me the things that you stole!" I let them check all my pockets my bag and my purse and they didn't even apologize. They just said "I know you did something." After I showed them anywhere I would be able to hide something. They accused me of stealing Christmas ornaments. It's the end of April??? In the photo the man is flipping me off after I went back and asked them if I would come back to their shop if I had stolen something. They kept threating to check the cameras and I told them to check and as I waited at the door. They never checked the cameras. No apology. Obviously a poorly run business with bored employees who accuse their potential customers of stealing. Definitely avoid this place if you are shopping on main Street.

They sell small carvings of animals, sea creatures, trees, etc. made of some kind of hard nut from Ecuador. They seem to represent trips to the Galapagos. The trinkets are nice, but pricey. A A touristy place.

Fabulous choice in inexpensive carvings, clothes, and jewelry from Ecuador. A really good place to find gifts. Support Ecuadorian artists!

Home goods and gifts this store really has it all. I also appreciate the layout and that items are kind of categorized by theme or item. For example, where I first walked in they had two tables filled with beachy items. Pillows, wall decor, stickers, mugs, candles you name it. Really convenient when you have a theme or idea in mind and they have an entire table dedicated to those items. In the back were the cutest and softest baby clothes. Some of my friends have had little ones and I will definitely be back to shop for them. For myself I'm coming back for some super cozy sweaters - it's just too hot right now and at almost $50 a pop, it wasn't a need. The prices range. Some items seem reasonable and others are slightly overpriced in my opinion BUT the convenience of getting so many cute things all in one spot makes worth paying a little more okay in my eyes as it's a one stop shop. Lastly the staff are nice here. Everyone says hello and they greet you with good vibes. They are helpful but don't hover. All in all this is a great store in downtown and I'll be back soon to snag some goodies.

I came here a couple months ago after getting a recommendation from the owner of a thrift store on Main. I met the owner, Donna, and she was the sweetest! As an avid beachcomber, I was thrilled to hear that she accepted sea glass as currency in her shop. My girls and I came in this past weekend for matching jewelry (it was their birthdays!). We fell in love with the Leyla ring. I can't stop looking at the iridescent abalone shell on mine! We also got adorable swell rings to stack on top and they match PERFECTLY! My best friend got a gorgeous blue two tone sea glass pendant necklace. For jewelry handmade in Bali with genuine hand-picked seaglass and quality metals, the prices were actually very reasonable! Our Sterling Silver Leylas were $24 each. The Swells were $19 each. The gold vermeil sea glass necklace was $62 for the pendant and $20 for the chain. We will definitely be back for more beach treasures!

However today, my mom and I went and were helped by the most lovely employee named Ava! She recommended new rings that would pair good with my old ones (trying not to repeat) and said a thinner band would look good with my larger sized ones. I was in and out within 5 min of that room, meanwhile it typically takes 20-30 min. She was so sweet and talkative to me, I genuinely felt like I had a connection with her! I LOVE BETTY BELTS!!
