This is such an amazing shop! Randomly stopped in ventura to stretch our legs during a long drive home and came across this adorable gem of a place!!! They offer a huge assortment of handcrafted items from Ecuador. It was a total delight to look through everything, picking out several items for myself and gifts for friends, like a treasure hunt! Their Panama Hats are excellent quality and they have a wide variety of colors and styles, perfect for any occasion! Ecugreen is a new store (for me anyways) in downtown Ventura. It's cute, cozy, colorful, I like the idea of cool eco-friendly items imported from Ecuador. The young guys working here were very nice,helpful and explained us the process of how the jewelry they sell it's made: out of nuts that fall off trees. They sell a bit of everything- cute decorative items, Panama hats, poncho-s, cool bags, clothes and lots and lots of jewelry. Some of the prices are reasonable, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy a few X-mas gifts here (natural look- colorful earrings, and necklace and earring set), more original presents, with a cool story behind (shhhh!). Very nice customer service, fun to browse shop, I enjoyed shopping here. I'll be back next time I'll go to downtown Ventura. Ecugreen is my kinda of a store. One of a kind. read more

7/25/2020 On a foggy Saturday morning in Ventura, My husband and I strolled down Main St (now turned into a promenade because of the Pandemic.) On our stroll we ventured upon this cute little shop. Wow, we you enter you are immediately greeted by the vibrant colors of the products the shop offers and the friendly shop owner, Martha. Of course, given the current topic of the year, the colorful face coverings were our first stop. The shop has a covering to please every person, from solids to stripes, elastic, tie backs. Each made from organic cotton /algodon and comfortable to wear. There is a whole array of jewelry in different designs and colors!!! Martha was very accommodating in giving you a little background on her products. We ended up buying four face coverings. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back to buy some of the incredible jewelry she has to offer. I'm so glad Main St has been converted into a Promenade, it gives people a chance to stroll and take in all the shops along the way like EcuGreen. Ecugreen is a hidden gem on Main Street. Yesterday was my first time ever at the store, and I am so eager to return. I was satisfied with how comfortable they made me feel, not to mention how well they informed me of all the items at the store. With all the beautiful products and friendly customer service at the store, I encourage all of you to visit the store! You will not regret it. The moment I walked in, I was greeted and asked how I was doing. I admit, I was distracted by all the beautiful colors along with the beautiful jewelry throughout the entire store. The beauty of these products is also how eco-friendly they are. I am amazed at how they can be made from the Tagua nut -- native of Ecuador. Thank you so much to the workers for educating me of their products and inspiring me to be more eco-friendly myself! The woman working had no problem answering all of my questions. She let me venture across the entire store and asked genuine, caring questions. The prices at Ecugreen were great and I was informed of all the special sales that day! Don't shop here if you want to be accused of stealing. I was across the street looking in the window of another shop for about 5 minutes when I saw her coming at me in the reflection. She immediately stuck her hand out at me and said "Give me the things that you stole!" I let them check all my pockets my bag and my purse and they didn't even apologize. They just said "I know you did something." After I showed them anywhere I would be able to hide something. They accused me of stealing Christmas ornaments. It's the end of April??? In the photo the man is flipping me off after I went back and asked them if I would come back to their shop if I had stolen something. They kept threating to check the cameras and I told them to check and as I waited at the door. They never checked the cameras. No apology. Obviously a poorly run business with bored employees who accuse their potential customers of stealing. Definitely avoid this place if you are shopping on main Street. read more

This is a really cool eco-friendly boutique on Main Street in downtown Ventura which carries unique jewelry, earrings, accessories, textiles, even hammocks. I've bought several pairs of earrings which are bold and colorful but surprisingly lightweight. If I wore more jewelry, I buy a few necklaces! My husband, who rarely buys for himself, got a really cool necktie. Everyone who works there including the owners are really friendly and inviting. Five stars. read more

An amazing place to explore. I went there on an afternoon and it was a festive atmosphere with colorful hammocks, very unique jewelry and panama hats. I learned that panama hats don't come from panama they come from ecuador. It had a very good energetic vibe. So many stores now days are all the same this one you can shop and explore at your leisure. Martha the store owner is wonderful and helped me pick out a double hammock for my porch.
