After spending thousands of dollars with other, well-known, HVAC companies we found ourselves continuing to have constant issues. When Oscar came onto our property he quickly analyzed our issues and came up with a well thought out plan for each item. The proof is in the pudding! Since hiring Celestial Air Conditioning we have seen an increase in HVAC efficiency and a decrease in our maintenance cost. It pays off to work with real professionals! Oscar even came to my rescue at home when our HVAC went out in the middle of a hot summer night. Thank you, Oscar!

I've been looking for a company to fix my HVAC at my rental property. Come to find out it was…read moreinstalled improperly, started leaking, and created significant water damage. I was referred to Celestial Air Conditioning by my handyman. They came out and provided a thorough assessment of what needed to be done, and I felt like I was in good hands; then the problems started. I was working with Oscar to schedule a time for his team to come out to fix the HVAC. I was told it would take two days and was given a date they could come. I confirmed that date with my tenants and waited for Oscar to lock it in his schedule. I texted, asking for a confirmation of the time and date, and he said he would get back to me. For days, I waited for a response, while being told I'll get back to you soon. By the third day, he said he wouldn't be able to come out that day. Mind you, the date was a day he originally asked for. During this time, my tenants have been going without air conditioning in the middle of August, and they have small kids. Oscar told me he could come out at the end of the following week. I asked whether he was sure. I could not afford for him to bail on my tenants again, who work full-time jobs and would have to take off work in order for his team to be there. He said he could do it and requested a start time of 7am. My tenants requested a 9am start time, but Oscar was clear that his team needed to start early before it got too hot outside. My tenants confirmed immediately, and we accepted his meeting invite for a 7am start time. I messaged Oscar two days before the work was supposed to start, as I hadn't heard from him. I immediately got the response, "I respectfully decline the job". We were confirmed in his schedule for days at this point, and my tenants have been with our air for the better part of a month, and he just "declines" the job. The poor communication and the fact that he has left my tenants and me stranded in this heat over the last two weeks is absolutely unacceptable. My experience was beyond disappointing, to say the least.

The representative on the phone was very polite and friendly. She set up an appointment for me very quickly. On appointment day, Scott arrived quite promptly. Scott was very polite, friendly and professional. He thoroughly inspected the furnace and thermostat and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Fortunately, I did not need to replace the furnace. Within a few days, Scott returned and replaced the necessary parts and installed a new thermostat. I waited a couple of months to see how well the furnace operated during these winter months. Now, I am pleased to announce that everything works perfectly. Scott, and AAA Calvert, receive superior marks. The cost of the repairs were quite reasonable for the amount of time and labor the project required. This was SUPERIOR service!!! Thank you, Scott!!!

He ordered the new fan and motor on the phone while I was with him, so I expected we'd soon be cooled down. I don't want to get too far in the weeds, but ultimately it took four visits and nine days for techs to come out and replace the fan and the motor. They did take $500 off the price, and they were very nice about everything, but unfortunately they forgot to check the coolant level, so the AC was only marginally cooler than the outdoor air. Rather than complaining again, I just called my brother-in-law (who is also in the HVAC business). He found that it was light 4 lbs. of coolant, which he replaced, and now the system is running properly again. But it took almost two weeks during the hottest stretch of the year. I think AAA Calvert is a good business, and I hope this is a learning experience for them.
