Best Air Conditioning and Heating Systems is aptly named! Our heater stopped working on a very cold Saturday. We looked up YouTube videos but couldn't find the problem. We called Best Air Conditioning and Heating Systems after seeing so many good Yelp reviews. Juan answered the phone & offered to come out within a few hours, with no fee to come out (unlike most vendors). He & his associate (also named Juan), came out as planned & quickly diagnosed the problem (bad blow motor). They explained they'd need to order a new one, but it would come quickly. They also said the brand we have tends to be expensive, so they'd check if it was still under warranty (we bought this house a little over a year ago & weren't sure the status). Long story short, it is now Wednesday, not even a week later, and today they replaced the motor, which actually was under warranty. Our air-conditioning went out on one of the hottest weekends of the summer. It was a Thursday and when I called around most of the HVAC companies couldn't get me in until Monday. Quickly ran a diagnosis and found the problem: the induced fan is old, not produce adequate pressure to keep the pressure switch operation. Juan and his team were very professional and got the work done on budget and on schedule. He helped us choose a cost-effective system that fit our needs. He pulled our building permit and scheduled HERS testing and inspection. The installed system work product looks cleanly finished. Our 2-story ~2,000 SF century home needed some air conditioning, and working from home I only needed one room cooled/heated most of the time, so we sought bids for a 4-head mini split system and whole house fan. He came in as the lowest bidder but was more responsive and helpful than other higher bids. He's a smaller shop with a contractor's license pulled in august 2022 but has more years of experience at other HVAC companies so he knew what he was doing. I was worried at first because I didn't see any reviews, turns out Yelp deemed them 'not recommended' so they got bumped to the bottom of the page. But he gave me references to call who sounded legit, and does lots of work on new builds for General Contractors who wouldn't leave reviews anyway. Glad I found him and I'll recommend him to anyone I can. read more
