I called for "Free Estimate" for my HVAC system. Listed on YELP as "FREE ESTIMATE" Well its not! False advertisement. I was told by Lanai that the service technician would be charging me "$89 for a diagnostic fee" and it could go towards the repair price. YELP needs to remove that badge from "highlights from the business" What? No Bueno! So, at this point I will not schedule with them. They may do excellent work. But misleading from the start. He sent photos to my phone of what had been checked out. Very impressive here. Plus a check list stating what was checked. I have never had this level of service ever! Our residence had been without AC for the last 22 months due to leaks in the cooling lines. Prior companies could not pinpoint where the leas were coming from. Anticipating hot summer months approaching, I reached out to a good friend who recently installed a new AC unit in his mother's home and was very happy. The AC company he used was Cloud Comfort. I contacted this company through their website and was able to make an appointment. On May 11, two came out named Erwin and Carlos. They were able to identify a leak in our attic and after opening up the stucco near the roofline, they found a larger leak. Javier Reyes, Manager came to our home and shared the options on AC and heating units. Initially my mind was set on getting another gas AC unit however Javier provided excellent explanations as to consider purchasing an electric AC unit. These reasons included: 1. The AC unit is about 1/3 the size of the gas AC unit; 2. The electrical unit runs quieter; the replacement unit warranty of 12 years was longer than a gas unit. After we made the decision to go with the electric AC unit, set up the appointment. Prior to the day of installation, Albert, technician, came to our home to get a better feel for the install. On the next day,Isaias and Carlos installers removed the old AC unit from outside and old air handler in the attic. Another Cloud Comfort employee named came to the house and brought over the new equipment to be installed. The new equipment included the new AC heat pump, new air handler in the attic line set thermostat. After Isaias installed the thermostat on the he showed us how to use it and to our phon. The total install time from start to finish was around six hours. The final Task was performed by Miguel to restucco the hole made near the roofline. The bottom line is that Cloud Comfort uses a professional team approach and effective communication skills to make sure that you are aware of the process every step of the way.
