Service appointment was March 31 and April 1, 26. I brought Rv in for numerous items and found out down the road that only oil change and alignment were done. I had asked that all fluids be checked . None were checked! I had to buy two new batteries, purchased break fluid as there was none in the reserves, radiator fluid was extremely low, steering fluid had to be tapped off, air was added to tires as the were below 90 psi. The invoice did not show that fluids had been checked, so I questioned Derek and was told they don't do it. So, I was to believe that it was done until I got down the road and all hell broke lose. You folks put me in a unsafe and costly position and I will not recommend your service to anyone ever again. read more

Over $1200 for brakes and rotors on a 2014 Chevy Silverado with no warning of costs in advance. We feel as if we were taken advantage of because we had an out of town address even though we stay in the area regularly with our RV and received recommendations from locals to come here. We spent the day ubering to places in the area allowing time to work on the truck and came back to it sitting in the parking lot even though we were told it was not ready. Compared costs online and feel validated in those thoughts. Super disappointing. read more

Took my sons car in several months ago for squeaky brakes. Spent $700+ on new everything based on their recommendations. Afterwards, we noticed that it was still squeaking. Gave it a few weeks, just in case the lubricant needed some time. Ended up bringing the car back in. After examination, they said everything was great with the brakes. Only a little dusty, but that I needed tires. Got new tires, based on their recommendations. Gave the brakes a few more weeks. Still squeaking. Took the car elsewhere where it was shown to us that the brakes were installed backwards!! Over those few months, my son drove about 800 miles on backwards brakes (see photos). The manager gave my son a refund on labor only. Shameful. The brakes had to be replaced. Not to mention how dangerous this could have been. Not even sure if he needed new tires when they had a chance to inspect their own work. Only by God's grace is this story not as bad as it could have been. To be fair, they did mention that the guilty party had already been fired for similar work. Meaning they already knew of the poor work. Why didn't they contact the owners of the cars that he worked on? Scary.... read more

Our motorhome's left front tire had a leak. We were staying at Westwind RV and needed a mobile repair company. We called Ed Whitehead's Tire Pros because they had a good Yelp rating. We are super glad that we did! The service tech arrived on schedule, he was very courteous, he took measures to ensure our auto-levelers and other equipment wasn't damaged...and he fixed the issue with the tire. Paid them to replace wheel bearings and do an alignment. Wheel bearing blew within a week and found out they hadn't even bothered to clean the old dirty grease out much less replace the bearings or seals. They blew up my master brake cylinder trying to replace one of my front calipers and charged me for the labor and parts to fix it. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

We had a wheel removed and replaced at another shop in a different town before heading to Yuma in our Motorhome. When we arrived in Yuma we discovered the Chrome Hub cover was incorrectly installed on our rear axle at the previous shop causing us to loose all of our chrome nut covers and the only thing holding the chrome cap on was the valve stem extenders. I called three shops in Yuma that sold RV tires and Ed Whiteheads on 32nd St was the only shop that said they could properly reinstall the cap under the lug nuts without us having to wait several hours till "they could fit us in"! We pulled into Whitehead's at 11 AM on January 31, 2019 and waited about 10 minutes while a mechanic finished repairing a flat tire on a trailer. Once he finished he came over and removed the necessary lug nuts, installed our chrome hub cover and the 10 new nut caps I purchased at Rush Truck Center the day before. I went inside to pay at the desk and the manager shook my hand, said no charge! The mechanic that did the actual labor talked with me the whole time he was working and asked me to inspect the work before he put his tools away. This shop was highly organized, clean and based on my experience, has great customer service. Lots of room to easily park our 40 foot coach and space to hook our tow vehicle up after the work was done before we headed for the Interstate. Thanks Tire Pros! read more
