Avoid at all costs…read more I had a terrible experience with Sofyano Tailors. From start to finish, it was chaotic and unprofessional. I was constantly chasing them for timelines, and they rarely picked up the phone. They told me my suit would be ready in a month, so I showed up on that date and they didn't even have the correct information on my order. They kept calling me by the wrong name, and when I finally tried the suit on, the fit was awful. When I asked the owner why the fit of this made to measure fit was awful, he shrugged and said, "I'm not a magician. Let me just give you a refund" that was a month wasted. That's not just bad customer service--it's insulting. The entire process made me anxious that I wouldn't even have a suit in time. I ended up going to Pursuit instead, and the difference was night and day. Pursuit was organized, welcoming, and professional. They delivered a high-quality suit that fits like a glove. Yes, it was slightly more expensive--but I'd pay three times more for the peace of mind and the product they delivered. Sofyano was a waste of time and energy. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Abdul did a great job at servicing us, to the degree that I bought hubby two suits. He's short with a muscular build; it's nearly impossible to get a great fit for him but the suits were tailored to perfection a week later. The service is top notch! The suits were expensive but well worth it. Thanks for a wonderful customer service experience. When we save up some money, we'll definitely be back to purchase more suits. Abdul, YOU rock!

I will NEVER go to Men's Warehouse again. As father of the bride, I rented a tux 1 month ahead of…read morethe wedding. All measurements were taken. On pick-up, I had sleeves that were 4 inches too long, inseams that were 6 inches too short, pants that did not match the coat, and a shirt that can only be described as Seinfeld's puffy shirt, with shoulders 4 inches down my arm. I cannot imagine any human body this combination would fit. The tailor on site said he could not make the changes, they were too extensive, and their only answer was to order a new outfit that would arrive after the wedding. They cheerfully gave me back my money, and I wore my own suit. There was no other attempt to right this incredible wrong. I would rent from my neighbor before renting from them again.

When I finally…read moregot through, I was put on hold by a woman for 25 minutes, and she never returned to the call. I hung up at that point. Once their sale is made, that's pretty much all the help you'll get. Don't bother with their promotions that entice you to visit a store. They forget to apply it, and it's a hassle to have them rectify the mistake. Don't bother contacting corporate either. The contact (MM) who was appointed to address my inquiry stopped responding when I mentioned being unhappy with the service and considering a return. Do yourself a favor and visit any other place that sells suits, etc. In this day and age, with numerous options available (both online and in brick-and-mortar stores), there is no reason this level of customer service should be tolerated.

We purchased a tuxedo for myself (the groom) and my brother, the best man. The staff was excellent, polite, helpful, and went out of their way to cater to our every need. They went above and beyond to make our day special, even throwing in my bow tie and suspenders for free as a wedding gift to me. The tux I really wanted from a catalog they had on hand [';p-/.was not available in the size I was looking for. I really wanted a black and white tux. Milano had a different black and white one ordered from New York and rushed to the store in time for the alterations to be made and in time for my wedding. He even did this at no extra cost to me! What an amazing experience. The staff at Milano made my fiancé and myself feel important and special. They were a key ingredient in making our special day unforgettable. They made lifelong customers of us all, including my brother! I cannot recommend them enough.

Other items in a case are vintage Scouts items not for sale. Cornell's is a time capsule that must be experienced. When in Newark just before Thanksgiving my hotel recommended when I forgot my coat back home. It was a short walk from the Doubletree. The store is on the main drag. Upon entering your immediately taken back to another time period of the old general stores. The amount of inventory on the walls, on the tables, well literally every where you look. There is new, there is vintage new such as concert T shirts from the 60's & 70's. What is not there is an odor, the place has no old stinky smell that you may imagine. Plus some items that the owner would never sell on display such as Levi's jeans that date back to the company's start and probably worth tens of thousands. Mr. Cornell, the owner in his 70's has stories he will share if you have time about the family history and four generations of operation. The location was originally a stage coach stop, but Cornell's has their own history too! Like Fats Domino playing pool with the owners Father in the 1950's. They also have an antique juke box dating to the early 40's. The passion that Mr. Cornell brings to the business is what really stands out in my mind. He offers quality merchandise and is proud of the history dating back almost a hundred years. You cannot find another store in the country that compares. It would be impossible! In my opinion he should set up an online store. The items are just so unique and there would be demand nationwide. I walked out with a classic Woolrich red and black checkerd jacket that set me back $250 or so. Don't miss this store if your even within hours.
