Eddie Turner started his little bar & grill in a narrow sliver of a building across from the Gulf of Mexico. He made everyone feel welcome with great food & service. There are currently tw other Eddie's on the West Coast of Florida. My husband & I shared a Cuban sandwich with onion rings. Friends ordered burgers. Not what I was expecting at all. When I walked in I was thinking I'm not eating here, but it was a new place for my husband and I to try so I stayed. BEST burger you will ever eat. They are big too. You could half one and it would be enough. The wings are great, sweet potato fries and cheeses sticks. They are must tries. Our waitress was really sweet and talkative. She had a good personality. Had not been to Eddies in several years, and then, with a large group. Went Friday night with hubby, daughter and granddaughter. It was pretty busy inside, but sign said to seat yourself. We picked a booth way back where the noise level was minimal. Ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer to share. They were delicious, crispy, not greasy, and served with a mild horseradish sauce. Even my daughter, who is not a mushroom fan, gave them a high five! We had plenty to take home for the next day. Hubby and I shared the corned beef Reuben, with onion rings (a $2 up charge from fries). Delicious sandwich! We are fussy about Reuben's and this one made the grade! Daughter got a shrimp po boy. It was HUGE. She said the bread it was on was sooo good. Granddaughter had the boneless chicken tenders, light buffalo style, and a side Caesar salad. We were all very pleased with our food. I eat here about once a week. Tonight I rode my bicycle since its right on the pinellas trail. Had a cobb salad with blackend chicken and its probably the best cobb salad I've ever had. If youre eating healthy their salads here are seriously large. You will be full and enjoy the healthy meal. Watched the football game, had a few drinks and ate a late diner. Conveniently located right across the road from the beach. Stopped by for lunch so there wasn't a lot going on. I'm sure it gets busy on a Friday or Saturday night in the summertime. Grabbed lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. We arrived about 12:30 and there were a handful of tables occupied, but it filled in quickly after that. Tons of TV's on every wall, and a large bar and seating area in the main part, with another good sized bar in the game room. Good menu selection. I had The Rachel (Turkey Reuben), and my wife had the hamburger without the bun. Both were good-about what you'd expect. The Rachel had tons of kraut and nicely flavored turkey with just a bit of sauce. Coleslaw was pretty standard and the fries were ok, but a bit limp. Service was ok-one server was very good, and there were only two working. Prices are very reasonable. Looks like a great place to catch a game! read more

We had heard what a great place this was and were passing thru, so why not stop and see. We seated ourselves as it was still early for dinner. Joey our server brought us ice cold beer to start. This place would be great for all games. They had many tvs for sports. Three different bar and dining areas. Even the outside area was nice and spacious. They have a gaming area that caught me eye! That duck machine is my favorite. I like collecting them for cruises. But alas I was spared from spending money as the machine was down!!! Our food game and did not disappoint. I had a side salad that actually two could easily share. Grouper bites and cities which hubby and I did share, and we couldn't eat it all. Our friends had the Marquarita Flatbread, which they shared. Everyone said their food was great. Great ambiance and very family friendly. Me and Teddy (a 9 yoa that I befriended, took turns on trying to win that big bear, he wanted that bear!! Good place to get a cheeseburger or food to go. Almost all of the food is good. Service is hit or miss lately it's been a mess. The real problem is the water that they use to make their ice and the soda that comes out of the bar guns , it smells and taste like it's coming from a septic tank. read more

I attended two group lunches at Eddie's, a local unique spot on Bayshore in Dunedin. This time we had 42 people with 42 separate orders and 42 separate checks. The food was all perfectly prepared! My blackened grouper platter was delicious with a huge number of tater tots and veggies instead of the standard fries and slaw. It's great when the local fish is properly cooked and not dry. But, the stars of the show were the servers, Brian and Charles. They were super organized, professional, helpful and got every order and check correct! We were all served quickly and enjoyed our lunches. Thanks Brian and Charles and compliments to the two cooks who banged out all these meals! We have wanted to visit Eddie's since we moved to Dunedin six years ago. We finally went and I'm so glad we did! It was much larger inside than I expected. We had a wonderful waitress... I believe her name was Mallory. She was super sweet! I am vegan and gluten-free. She tried to help me find something on the menu, but they only had a vegetarian burger. Hopefully one day they will have a vegan burger and a gluten-free bun! My husband ate and really enjoyed his meal. It's really cool inside and has a nice video game room. I find the vibe at Eddie's to be very chill and relaxed. We went on a random Monday afternoon and there was a trivia going on, so it was a little bit packed but once that was over it cleared out around 9 PM. Their tater tots had so much flavor, but the boneless wings were very disappointing because the breading on it was so heavy. I felt like I hardly got any meat in it. I also found the service to be a little slow, but not terrible. The server was quite friendly. The Thai shrimp was really good as an appetizer. One thing I love is that this spot has something for everybody. We stopped in to Eddie's for trivia Monday night. We were lucky enough to get seated in Allison's section who took our drink order immediately. Our booth held 6 people comfortably. Now we have been to Eddie's many times and we all have our favorites. Tonight I ordered the grouper nuggets & fries appetizer which is entree sized. The grouper melted in my mouth and the fries are incredible. The others in our group of 6 ordered the deep fried pickles ap and everyone had plenty. We also had the cheesy chicken sandwich, the grouper salad, cheese quesadilla, the french dip and another grouper nuggets. Everyone loved their food and it disappeared quickly. One word of advice would be to get there early on Mondays. They fill up quickly for trivia. read more

This is a great place to come see the games. All the games Basketball, Basketball, Football, Golf and Hockey. (Sorry if I missed any other games.) They have 27 large TVs. These are on the inside area, They also have a large out door area. As well as a game area. All thee (3) areas have their own bars, fully stocked.
