I always hit a pizza joint while I'm on vacation and this place was so nice I hit it twice. The pizza, the breadsticks, the service, all of it was awesome. They had a cool little vibe inside too which gave the place good character. They were super busy on a Friday night so I suggest reservations so you don't miss out. Shoutout to my boy Aiden, he was very cool as well and you could tell he enjoys his job and his customers. The second night we had a different lady but she was also friendly and chill. 5 stars for sure, if you're staying in Clearwater make the short drive over and try this spot. I genuinely don't understand the hype. The pizza was bland, the crust was underwhelming, and everything tasted like it was thrown together with the bare minimum of effort. For the prices they charge (including adding 3% service fee to the check), I expected something memorable--instead, it was one of the most disappointing pizzas I've had in the Dunedin area. The service wasn't anything to write home about either, and the overall experience just didn't justify the cost. Worst pizza making attempt ever. The sauce was pretty much pure tomato and extremely acidic. No Italian herbs went anywhere near this sauce, or the "pizza" in its making. I tried to save my tastebuds with the shaker on the tabletop, but you honestly have to cook onions into the sauce in order to tame the acid. Really enjoyed this place. Made a reservation for 8. Arrived, table was ready we loaded up on drinks and appetizers. Wings were delicious. Then we got pizzas and some pasta and everyone really enjoyed their food. Our waiter was a young guy named Aidan. He took care of us and along with the young girl working they multi-tasked the service in that place. The kitchen got it out timely and it was all very good. It was a spur of the moment decision to go out and try a gluten free pizza, since a recent diagnosis. Ive been struggling with learning what I can eat and then I struggle with finding satisfying food....usually end up with a choice of salads. I was so excited to find out that Jack Palinos had gluten free pizza crust. We ordered the Spicy Jack with mushrooms and it was so satisfying and delicious! Gluten-free pizza snob here, so five stars from me is legit. I recently tried the CBR (chicken/bacon/ranch) with cauliflower crust, expecting a pretty good pie. There are so many great places to eat in Dunedin I've lost count. Shared my pie with a bacon lover who kindly accepted all the bacon on his half. Our server showered it generously with freshly grated Parmesan, and it was love at first bite! My CR half was cheesy and topped well. I'd also prefer more of a crusty bread as opposed to soft bread sticks especially because of the consistency. The whipped honey ricotta tastes like a lemon girl scout cookie. The sauce is zippy with just the right tomato tang. Excellent basic cheese pie isn't going to get any cheesier. We had a gift card not that it matters, just that my friend has perfect taste. Really liked this place. Just happened to walk in and was happily surprised at how good it was. Service was top notch, friendly and fast. The food was delicious. Portions are very generous. We are a family of four, with kids, and at early evening (6ish) the place was family friendly enough for our liking. Overall volume was not high so it made it very easy to talk. Service was friendly and speedy, it took less the an hour from sit down to paying the check. The bruschetta was delicious, and all the pizzas we bought were great. Went to grab a quick bite on a Sunday night and ended up here because it was one of the few places open. Boy did we get lucky on that. Pizza was amazing, cooked perfectly in a wood fire grill. They had a good drink selection and my Sangria was one of the best I've had in a while! Best part of the experience though was the staff. My husband and I came here after a chance outing with friends led him to try Jack Pallinos and come home telling me about the incredible pizza he had in Dunedin. I'll admit that when we arrived, I was surprised that this restaurant was where the amazing pizza came from. Aesthetically, it is more reminiscent of a sports bar that would serve cheap food that would be better described as unremarkable and fatty rather than fresh and flavorful. I read some of the reviews regarding pricing of pizza and I think this is where the disconnect comes from. If the restaurant were a boutique pizza parlor, perhaps people would feel differently. Make no mistake, the ingredients are high quality and worth every penny. Both times we have been together, my husband and I have shared a margherita pizza with goat cheese. The pizza is cooked to perfection with a light, chewy crust. The tomato sauce is fresh and and the goat cheese is creamy. I can't express enough how much we love this pizza. It is my favorite pizza in Tampa Bay and perfect in every way. Today we tried the bruschetta and loved every bite! It was very fresh and the toasts were the perfect balance of crunchy without being hard. It was so well balanced, we couldn't get enough! Great little restaurant! Seems to be pretty authentic thin crust Italian pizza. They have Coke products, so that's the first plus. We were seated quickly and ordered three build your own pizzas. Mine was garlic butter, prosciutto, and artichoke - I tried to recreate the best pizza I had in Italy. It was not the best I've had, but definitely solid. They were not generous with the prosciutto but I get it. The garlic butter was totally delicious. The biggest drawback is that the food was honestly overpriced for what it is. I've had fantastic pizza for half the price of this place. I assume they have to have high prices to afford their location, but it's high enough that I'd hesitate coming back again. read more

Place seems to be going downhill, it used to be great. Revolving door with bartenders has resulted in no consistency on the cocktail recipes. We requested a table last Saturday night for 10 people and were told "not today". Was not only rude, but as a former bartender/server myself I couldn't believe that they wouldn't accommodate a table of 10 , which is definitely not that big of a party. We did ask that it be brown and not black on the top and bottom. I don't like my pizza burnt but I do like it crunchy on the bottom. Came out perfectly cooked! Very yummy! I am so honored and excited to be the first one to review this great new addition to the Dunedin restaurant scene! Jack Pallinos is a pizza restaurant/ sports bar. They offer salads, charcuterie, pizza and great drinks. We opted for outdoor seating tonight and they have a great patio outback where you can eat, and lots of televisions so you can watch whatever game is on. We started our meal off with the chopped salad ( red wine vin, soppressata, mozz, olives, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, tomato, red onion, romaine, parmigiana). It was light, fresh and pretty big. Definitely large enough to share between two people. For dinner we opted for "The Architect" pizza. Basically you can create your own pizza masterpiece, and put all your favorite toppings on it. We ordered ours topped with fresh basil, tomatoes, roasted garlic and pepperoni. Yum yum! The ingredients were all fresh and the pizza was light and airy. We really enjoyed it. To finish our meal off, we ordered some of the delicious Gelato. The hazelnut gelato was AMAZING! I think it may have been my favorite part of the meal. It tasted just like a Ferrero Rocher. I mean EXACTLY like one. So all in all, this meal was a success. Pricey pizza with expensive salad. That about sums up our experience at Pallinos. Our server was very attentive and seemed intent on making our meal good. But the pizza had too much balsamic drizzle and no side salad was available. We split a house salad which was $15. I figure that's about double what it should have been.
