We dined here for brunch on Saturday June 6th. We were out enjoying a beautiful early afternoon and we came across this place, it was dog friendly so that was deciding factor. I order The Nancy which had eggs, bacon, sausage, b'fast potatoes with pancakes. My wife had huevos rancheros and we thought that they were both good but the service was exceptional. The Brussels sprouts are awesome, perfect balance of savory and sweet with the blue cheese and blackberry gastric. The NY strip was excellent. We subbed puréed celery root for the mashed potatoes (lower carbs). Cooked perfectly, with a great cream sauce. When presented, I thought it was too much sauce. I was wrong. Outstanding combo. An all around disappointing experience last evening (May 14, 2026). It was way too noisy to eat inside so we elected to sit outside. The tables are so close together outside that you are part of every conversation at every other table. Unfortunately we were next to someone who did not have an "inside voice" so it was really disruptive. Service was abysmally slow for everyone sitting outside. Easily more than an hour from ordering to getting food. The issue must be in the kitchen, although the wait staff weren't helping matters. Often not to be found, and getting into personal conversations with customers that seemed to take priority. The food itself, was okay, but certainly not good value for the price. Table next to us were seriously disappointed with their Porchetta and another member of that party didn't eat the steak or the green beans on his plate. Frankly, the best part of the mean was the "48 Hour Focaccia" appetizer although we had bets running at the table as to whether the "48 Hour" referred to how long it would take before we got it. I ordered a bottled fizzy water and server said I just gave you filtered water so I had nothing. I had NOTHING but I took clients there so I paid the bill for a drafte, 2 drinks and 2 apps. Bill was over $80. I didn't notice until after I that they added the tip so immediately called and no answer I left message but never got a call back. Took three trips because waitress (who was very nice) didn't know if they had a lager and what type of wine the house whites were. It was Taco Tuesday. We decided to get tacos as we figured they would be faster given how long the drinks took. They were slow to arrive. Ordered 5 fish and 5 beef tacos for the table. Fish (grouper) tacos were good. Beef were basically shredded beef, shredded lettuce and a shell. If there were any sauces or flavorings as described - none of us could taste them. Price was OK given we ordered specials. They automatically add a 20% tip which isn't unheard of but not typical. $100 all in for 10 tacos and 4 drinks in 1.5 hours - left us JUST enough time to get to a Scottish music show. After walking by this beautiful patio so many times, I finally made it a point to come here for dinner! Perfect spot to enjoy the weather and some people watching, with faint sounds of live music coming from the other restaurants on the block. I started with an espresso martini "dark" and it was fabulous! For appetizer, I ordered the buffalo cauliflower, which was lightly breaded and served on a plate atop of blue cheese for dipping. Although we had a reservation for 3 people in the main dining room, the greeter guided us toward a small table. She willingly accommodated my request to sit a a larger table but commented, "We usually sit groups of four here". As a New Yorker, her eye roll did not escape my observation. The mimosa arrived quickly but the coffee took some time. The coffee was fresh and hot. Sadly the eggs in the omelette and eggs benedict were both overcooked and the pork belly was chewy. The waitress did not check on us except to see if we wanted dessert. We ordered a key lime tart took that took so long I walked over to the bus boy and told him to inform my waitress that we would pass on the tart and take the check. They brought the tart over, but did not charge us for it. Be advised there is a 20% gratuity built into the bill. Had I been given the choice, I am not sure I would have tipped 20% because the level of our experience did not seem to warrant it. read more

It was as if our server was purposefully taking his sweet time to avoid our group of 11. THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD 20% TO ALL BILLS!!! Right there we should have walked away. The food was mediocre at best! Here goes: Goddess Salad: dressing was sour and lacked flavor. Chicken Nachos were decent. Focaccia bread was good. Smash burgers, there were 3 ordered and they were all dry and had zero flavor. Fries were overcooked! Salmon was bland, Brussel sprouts were delicious. NY strip was slightly overcooked but was juicy. Porcetta was good and would have been great but they lathered it with this corn elote that is just terrible and the sweet potato puree had a bitter taste I could not quite make out. Mushroom ravioli was just ok. For dessert our server described the brownie ala mode as a brownie with ice cream and never mentioned it was a deconstructed smores with coconut sorbet!!! Joe was our waiter and despite being very nice, he did not disclose the 20% service fee already added to the bill. Didn't notice when paying the bill and yep, he made 42% off our bill. This place has gone downhill unfortunately. Quality of the food was not what it was. Breakfast potatoes used to come with diced peppers which they don't anymore. Pancakes were chewy almost as if they were microwaveable. My bacon was so thin I couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The pork sausage was undercooked and disgusting. The coffee was not as good as usual and do not come with the typical set up. Their menu does change every so often but they've taken most of their unique products off and now everything available is just a different variation of itself. At this point with the food not being as good as it was I feel like it's overpriced. Only thing that makes it worth it imo is the beignets. read more

Love music started at 7 pm (on a weekend) and was a little loud for the room but still enjoyable. We did have a birthday guest at our table.
