Wow I cannot believe I havent written a review on this spot yet with the amount times Ive come! Ive been here numerous times for brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. I will say brunch here is my favorite. The food, service, ambiance, and cocktails are always great. Happy hour is on point too. Their beignets and mimosa flights are my favorite. Same owners own black pearl and sonder social club. They do add 20% gratuity to all checks but service has always been spot on.

They had a special, limited st. Patty's day menu and still had a delicious vegan tostada. We also had the curry fries without cheese, and the Caesar with tofu ( not vegan). All was delicious and flavorful. The aesthetic is cute like a real living room, and the service friendly and fast!

We had the best time having brunch here! The bottomless mimosas are such a fun option (make sure you have a ride afterward lol). Our waitress was pouring the perfect ones with just a drop or two of orange juice. the brunch items were so good as well. I got the breakfast burrito! The outdoor seating was beautiful on the day we went, but the interiors also super cute and chic!

An all around disappointing experience last evening (May 14, 2026). It was way too noisy to eat inside so we elected to sit outside. The tables are so close together outside that you are part of every conversation at every other table. Unfortunately we were next to someone who did not have an "inside voice" so it was really disruptive. Service was abysmally slow for everyone sitting outside. Easily more than an hour from ordering to getting food. The issue must be in the kitchen, although the wait staff weren't helping matters. Often not to be found, and getting into personal conversations with customers that seemed to take priority. The food itself, was okay, but certainly not good value for the price. Table next to us were seriously disappointed with their Porchetta and another member of that party didn't eat the steak or the green beans on his plate. Frankly, the best part of the mean was the "48 Hour Focaccia" appetizer although we had bets running at the table as to whether the "48 Hour" referred to how long it would take before we got it. It is true that our expectations were high but they even missed much lower expectations. A "one and done" for us.

A stroll through Dunedin and we had to stop for a beverage and a snack! The service was okay- friendly, but slow and sparse despite it being a pretty empty bar and dining room for a Saturday lunch time. The drinks were thoughtful and well made and the Brussel sprouts are reasonably priced enough to come back again and again.

We went on a Saturday at noon during the art and craft fair. It was a very busy day but we got in while the restaurant was still quiet. By the time we left there was a line outside the door! Our server Michael was excellent! The GM Nancy was very friendly to my wife. Egg white chicken omelet, Flank steak eggs benedict, and the Chimichanga. The presentation of the food was incredible! The food quality was very good. The restaurant itself was a bit loud and the ambiance was fine.

Had the best dinner here this past Friday night! Such a cute restaurant with great ambience. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. All of the drinks we ordered and food were so delicious. It did take a little bit of time for drinks to come out, but the place was pretty packed. We ordered the salmon medium, and it came out pretty dry, but they gave us a free dessert for the trouble. We cannot wait to go back and try lunch or brunch!

After walking by this beautiful patio so many times, I finally made it a point to come here for dinner! Perfect spot to enjoy the weather and some people watching, with faint sounds of live music coming from the other restaurants on the block. I started with an espresso martini "dark" and it was fabulous! For appetizer, I ordered the buffalo cauliflower, which was lightly breaded and served on a plate atop of blue cheese for dipping. For dinner, I ordered the green goddess salad with salmon, which was perfectly cooked medium, and the salad was a huge portion of fresh greens, avocado, candied nuts, and cranberries. Service was attentive and friendly. Absolutely lovely experience and can't wait to come back!

This is one of the hot spots of Dunedin. Gathered with friends this past June. The service and food excellen! Highly recommend the Jack Johnson pancakes. The beignets were exception too.

The OG Main Street Dunedin. The decor is great, the vibe hits. The pop-in-ability location just in case there is anything going on in DTD, is bar2none Piped in for a bloody and some monkey bread during the art show. Super nice servers, auto 20% grat, (maybe bc of art show? Maybe location?) Sat outside. Bloody was missing the chicharrons, and was meh, basic and smaller portion for the $$$ Monkey or pull bread was good, high cinnamon flavor drizzled in the sauce that comes with your Pillsbury cinnamon buns, probably homemade though!

PHENOMENAL!! I've lived here four years and never once walked through the door. The nights of…read moreindulgence I've missed are honestly shameful. Upon entering, I was struck by how small the space was, but it's cozy and intimate, and I understand exactly why it's been voted the most romantic restaurant around. It was our wedding anniversary, and we were acknowledged for 22 years of marital bliss. We were seated in the back left corner booth - THE prime table for two, right next to the sommelier station. We were promptly greeted by Sean, our server. There are some people you just know, from the moment they greet you, will take great care of you all evening. Sean has that rare tableside manner that blends personality, hospitality, and professionalism that exemplify the truly elevated dining experience. His presentation of the menu was practically an oration, painting a vivid picture of each dish, activating the cephalic phase of digestion. We started with his recommendation, a goat cheese bite for hors d'oeuvres. I'm still not sure what the base was, but it set the tone as the catalyst for every flavor that followed. For starters, my wife and I both chose the bisque: an onion-and-potato-based delight. I honestly don't remember what was in it, and honestly, I didn't care; it was perfection. From there, my wife went with the Black Pearl salad while I opted for the Caesar, curious to try their take on the classic. Her choice was the clear winner. The Caesar was generous and beautifully plated, but not the standout of the night. During his presentation, Sean claimed the filet was the best in Tampa Bay. Naturally, we had to find out for ourselves. Served Pittsburgh style, it did not disappoint - the heavy char deepened the juicy, flavor-packed bite with every cut. Best filet in Tampa Bay? It has my endorsement! Finally, dessert. We finished strong with the Banana Foster, a recipe with origins from the owner's grandmother. We also went with the Tarte Tatin, reportedly the most popular dessert on the menu for the past 18 years, per Sean. Once again, extraordinary. We're used to heading into Tampa or St. Pete for elevated dining. So happy we found this "pearl" right in our own backyard. Take my money!

I'm so sorry, wish I knew his name. He was the only male server there at the time so hopefully he gets credit. We made a reservation for dinner & walked in about 6:30pm. We waited only a minute maybe at the podium. It's in a strip mall which is odd for such an upscale place but it was kind of business casual not formal. We were seated in a comfy booth by our server. There was even a card sitting on the table, signed by the staff for our anniversary. Very sweet. This was our first time here so he showed us various specials on the menu. They had NYE specials since it was the 30th so we ordered from that. The drink menu is very small but I'm confident the bartender could have made me anything I asked for. We did not order bread, it's not included but we also did not want to fill up on it. I was dying to try the onion soup & was actually glad he recommended the mini size. It allowed us to try the soup but not fill up on it. I would totally return just for this soup! It wasn't long before our dinners were ready. Once it was in front of me I was honestly shocked at the raw beef but, it was truly seared & sliced to give it that presentation. I normally will not touch rare beef but this was actually delicious! The food was so good & fresh. The drinks were strong, not watered down at all. I actually had to get a Togo box for half my meal but it was a great lunch the next day. We did take home desserts as well which were also perfect. Our dinner was $200 which is quite steep but it was our anniversary & we truly enjoyed it. We will definitely return. I wish they did carry out for the soup. I think I'd order it every week if they did.. Overall I have zero complaints. The ambiance is not overly stiff either. They've made it so it's a mix of casual & elegance combined. If you'd like to dress up, go for it! Thank you, Parlor House for an amazing anniversary dinner.

When we were here last (as you can see in the attached photos) there were dark curtains blocking out the very casual plaza, white table cloths, dimmer lighting, and a stage at the front for live jazz music. It really felt transformative and intimate. This time when we walked in we were greeted by a beta fish tank which was incredibly odd lol, all of the curtains were wide open, no live music, wooden tables, confusing decor, it was super bright and so, sooo so loud. Tables were crammed together and you could tell the kitchen and bar were struggling with volume. I wouldn't mention this at all if the entrees weren't 50$. For the very pricy food and cocktails you expect an elevated interior- and the vibe felt really confusing. It's a shame because the food is exceptional- something to keep in mind if you're looking for a romantic date night. Excellent food romantic vibes Still worth trying if you're in the area- just adjust expectations. Dress code online business casual but folks were mostly in shorts and t-shirts.

My Brother lives in St Pete and takes our Mom to eat there or calls in for take-out at least 2-3 times per month. We arrived tonight (Thursday) around 7:45 PM to bypass the dinner rush. I was told "there will be at least a 10-15 minute wait, to give my name, and to wait outside." I thought maybe there were enough people waiting already to take up the empty tables, but that wasn't the case. We sat outside in the cold waiting and watching the guy stand at the bar doing nothing to help bus the empty tables, some of which were right by the window. After 15 minutes or more, we were finally called in last walking by the same uncleared tables, led to another table as the table cloth was being placed on it, no menus, no apology for the extra long (unnecessary) wait outside in the cold. Predatory worker compensation structure - Be aware…read more We recently dined here and noticed the tabletop signs explaining a mandatory 20% "commission" added to every single bill. When speaking with our server, she informed us that management classifies the waitstaff as 1099 independent contractors, meaning they receive a $0 hourly base rate from the restaurant and rely entirely on this mandatory guest fee for their paycheck.I have a physical copy of the check showing this automatic fee. While the sign claims this "supports our team," classifying standard restaurant servers as 1099 workers instead of W-2 employees is a massive red flag that contradicts federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. Independent contractors set their own hours and operations; servers do not. Furthermore, a restaurant cannot legally leave a server's direct hourly base wage at zero by relying entirely on automatic service fees.We love supporting local staff, but we want our money going to businesses that respect basic labor laws and compensate their employees legally. Hopefully, public pressure will force management to fix their payroll structure. The server said the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to make changes. Sadly they chose to break the law. On that note the service was lovely, the food very tasty. I asked to sub corn for flour tortias and she was able. On the positive side, parking was readily available, and the hostess team was very polite and gracious. However, we encountered several issues during our visit: - The Table: We were seated at a very wobbly table and had to use napkins to stabilize it ourselves. - The Service: Our waitress was quite slow. Additionally, when explaining the drink options, she explicitly advised us against ordering the Navy Grog on the list, stating that it tasted like ship water. - The Drinks: Based on the celebration, we decided to split the "South Seas Pearl." We found the drink to be overwhelming, and given the premium price tag, we expected the quality to better match the cost. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that they can be addressed for future guests.
