Really good food and great service. Stopped into town of Warwick after Apple picking, saw the reviews for Eddie's and decided to get lunch there. So happy that I did. The smoked cauliflower with Gouda was so good, I could have eaten 2 dishes myself. Unfortunately I had to share with my family. For main meal, had the Warwick Cheesesteak and was completely satisfied. Kids split a pulled pork slider meal and Mac n cheese and they enjoyed their meal too. Service was exceptionally friendly and responsive. They had a nice variety of beers and if I wasn't driving, I'd have partaken. Next time I'm in Warwick will be stopping in again. read more

Even though they're known for the variety of craft beers, I prefer their food, and especially their meat/steak-based dishes. They're always trying something new and so far I've had many excellent meals. It is a small place and especially during Covid it has been hard to get in. We've eaten here a few times in the past with mostly good experience. Today was not good. The single server was inexperienced. I ordered a cup of soup and was given a bowl without being told there were no cups available. She then NEVER looked over at our table as we finished, causing us to wait an extraordinarily long time for the check. The room was insanely LOUD. Went for lunch today after reading the reviews and was not disappointed, the wait was expected and they called us as promised so we were able to shop and see the town before getting the call. We ordered the potato nachos which was plenty for two, I would have given a 5 star review if not for the fact that the food was a bit on the cold side and after asking for it to be heated up it came back out no hotter than before (no microwave according to the server so they tried to hear it up the oven). This is one of my favorite spots in Warwick! I have lived in the area for about a year and come here at least a few times a week. The food and beer is amazing, as well as the atmosphere. I love the garlic aioli burger, the buffalo Mac and cheese, the fish tacos, I've never been disappointed! I was looking through reviews and one from Franklin M. caught my eye, which seems to be a copy and paste of a previous post from Rob. Must not have gotten enough attention the first time? I wanted to give my opinion as a very regular customer, instead of basing my review off of one negative interaction. All of the staff here are exceptional. I have never had a bad experience. Jeremy, the bartender being referred to, knows everyone by name and helps create the welcoming neighborhood feel that I am sure Eddie and his son are trying to instill. Although it may not have come across in a respectful way, I think pride for your place of work is a great thing and speaks to the quality of service you will receive. Wow this place was awesome. Came here for our anniversary. There was a a wait time of 45 minutes when we put our names down but got called 10mins later. The place was small but cozy. They had seating at the bar as well and we were fortunate to get a table. The service was excellent and the waiter graciously answered all my husbands questions (he always has a lot.lol) the food was AMAZING! I had the Ale house ribs and my hubby ordered the pork and pear. We waited at least half an hour for our food (salad, tacos, and sandwich). Salmon BLT was great. Ordered truffle fries and never received them, but were charged for them. The "jerk chicken Caesar" was just a bunch of bagged lettuce on a paper plate with one anchovy and some cheese. The chicken didn't taste like jerk chicken either. Definitely not a $16 salad. We felt like venturing out to Warwick for a late dinner and after some research on Yelp we decided on Eddie's Roadhouse. It's a small spot but makes up for it in charm and character. The staff were all very friendly (good job to our friendly server Ryan). The Kentucky Ginger and Autumn Margarita were delicious. We had the BBQ Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Cheddar Burger. Good stuff. The burger was cooked to perfection. The clientele that night geared more towards a younger/hipster crowd but don't let that stop you from coming in. I was there on Sunday.. they are GRINDING their own beef now and the burger will fresh ground beef mixed with short ribs and get this, FRESH BACKED rolls as well! My husband had the fresh homemade pasta, stuffed with homemade ingredients.. the mushroom risotto is made with local exotic mushrooms from the farmers market .. this is not only a bar, its an experience! This place, in which I visited 3 times, was quite... disappointing. I have to admit, I gave this place 2 stars because the truffle fries were very good, and the waiters are attentive and respectful. The entrees are the reason I do not like this place much. First, I had the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. It sounds a bit gross, but I am a rebel to that notion. Honestly, the sandwich was not terrible, but not the best either. The next time I came here, I wanted to go simple; I ordered a grilled cheese. Nobody could screw that up, right? As a politician of our time said, "Wrong." I got an oversized, stale, crusty sandwich with 2 slices of unmelted cheese. It was utterly horrible, and the only acceptable part of the meal was the fries on the side. Finally, the third time. I went and ordered the pulled chix. I hated coleslaw, but that gives me no reason to hate this place. The real reason was on how the bread was soggy, and overall it was disgusting. As I said earlier, the waiters and the appetizers to my knowledge are fantastic, but this is a food review, not a service review. I had lunch at Eddie's Roadhouse with a group of women. The place might be described as a post modern bar. The service was quite good, considering the size of the group. I order the banh mi Chicken, which came with fries. The sandwich had issues, it was quite dry, the chicken was over cooked, and the the vegetables added made it spicy hot but it did not improve the taste. Proportionally, there was way to much bread to chicken, perhaps not a bad thing. Their fries were really good others in the group ordered burgers and a salad. They were all quite pleased with their order, with the exception of one lady who ordered sliders medium well. She sent them back and after quite a long wait they came back incinerated. The place was crowded. I would recommend sticking to the the burgers and salads at this restaurant. read more

my go to spot after a long week or when i'm passing by. the food has been spot on great every time and they keep a constant rotation of new beers on tap which is awesome. i will say there is one particular staff member who spends too much time socializing with who seem to be people they know and not enough time taking care of customers. was our server/bartender once and we nearly walked out on them but we toughed it out. i've spent more than 5 years working in restaurants so i know full well that such an awesome spot doesn't deserve to have its reputation spoiled over one staff member. eddies still gets a full 5 star review from me because the food, atmosphere, and rest of the staff deserve it. the one warning i will give out of town folk is this: it is a small place and after reading a handful of not so great reviews i feel the need to say i personally have had consistent quality with the food and staff, and no i don't consider myself regular. i typically go there by myself, sit at the bar, and keep conversation to a minimum. that being said, i tend to turn around and pick somewhere else when any restaurant i go to is mobbed and filled to capacity, especially smaller ones like eddies. my first 2-3 times coming here was actually during their busiest times on a weekend. even though everything was great, i could easily see why they may have a slip up here and there simply due to the restaurants size and volume of people. if you've had a bad experience here i strongly suggest giving eddies another chance on a quieter night or weekday. read more

Eddie's has an awesome beer selection and great menu. I have been here several times and I can say that usually the place rocks. The reason for only 3 stars? Consistency. They run out of beers as well as menu items a lot, and the service is hit or miss. The bartenders are always attentive,so if there are seats at the bar,I recommend eating there. Burgers are great ,and the house specialty hanger steak is worth the 28$ pice tag. I do not recommend the chicken parm sandwich-the combo of marinara, loads of thyme and oregano, plus hot sauce is just not good. My boyfriend and I ordered food to go during covid based on the good reviews. We always rely on yelp. To be honest the food was not bad, not great, but not bad. However the bartender formed some sort of an attitude when my boyfriend told him he was a police officer. He was not trying to throw it in their faces that he was in law enforcement, however when it came up the bartender got very short and confrontational with us. At one point I thought that the bartender was going to try to fight my boyfriend. Anyways Chris is really levelheaded and managed to defuse the situation, but wow did that take us by surprise. Ate here twice in the last month - once for dinner on a crowded Friday night with a friend, another for lunch on a Sunday with a group. During the first visit for dinner, we had burgers and were mildly impressed with the quality of the meat and generous portion of fries. Despite the awkward arrangement of tables that forced us to basically sit near the door and in the middle of the aisle and the price of the burger ($13 for a basic burger), we left satisfied. A few weeks later, we journeyed there for lunch. When we arrived the place wasn't packed but soon filled up. At the beginning of the day, they were out of ground turkey for a turkey burger we ordered, and had to choose chicken breast instead. After waiting over 50 minutes for our lunch, all of our meals were subpar, including the once-turkey-now-chicken burger sandwich missing half the ingredients listed on the menu. What's more is our waitress hardly attended to us. At the very end of the meal as we were putting on our coats, the manager on duty came over to ask how we liked everything, and we were honest. He should have made his rounds sooner while customers are still eating to guarantee satisfaction. On the whole, I feel like this restaurant has potential. The unconcerned, hipstery waitstaff is inexperienced and needs to put in more effort to remember orders and check up on tables. The food seems to be high quality ingredients, but more care needs to be taken into preparing dishes. I suppose they don't care too much as they know they'll get the foot traffic on an autumn weekend in Warwick, but that's the reason so many places come and go in this town.
