3.5 stars. Great little place, exactly what a neighborhood pub should be. The beer selection is eclectic without being overly so and the menu is imaginative without being over ambitious. Food was good, not great, but this is a pub, not Le Cirque. Service was very friendly. It was very busy when we arrived so we had to wait at the bar for a table. The bar was two-deep and the draft system was acting up but the bartender (Ed) introduced himself and remembered our names and gave us samples of beers we were unfamiliar with. Went here on a saturday night to try something different. It was super crowded but we were seated relatively quick. The craft beer was awesome as well as the staff was very friendly! Took a little long to get our food but it was well worth the wait. I had steak and my gf had the chicken avocado wrap. Love riding up to Warwick on the weekend and finding some new spots for a good meal. After reading reviews on Yelp, Eddie's was next on the list. Initial impressions was ok, not a big place, mainly a nice bar with perhaps a dozen tables around it. The beer selection was very nice. I had the Chimay on tap and loved it. Wife had a wheat ale and she loved it as well. We ordered the potato nachos and the spinach salad. The nachos were quite tasty, think thick potato chips covered in pulled BBQ chicken, beans, cheese, jalapenos, etc. Very filling and hard to resist. The spinach salad was quite good. Fresh strawberries and blueberries, candied walnuts and some Gorgonzola crumbles (I personally would have preferred more berries and less cheese). The vinaigrette was light and delicious. Stayed in Warwick for a nice weekend getaway with my boyfriend. Walking around the town that day, we heard numerous people mention Eddie's and decided to try it out for dinner on a Saturday night. We were very impressed with their craft-American menu and great craft beer selection. The food was delicious and we were not disappointed with any of our choices. My only complaint was that it's so popular, the limited number of tables they have means it gets cramped quickly and there's a bit of a wait. They handle the crowd well however and our wait was definitely worth it. Would return again! read more

We stopped here on our way home from Mountain Creek. Normally, I don't like pub food unless I am in a greasy fried food or wings mood. When we walked by this place we saw customer's plates in the window and thought it looked good. We were glad we did. Once inside we saw that the place had a more modern feel than the usual dark pub. I had the sliders which were excellent, especially the pulled chicken. I also saw another dish with slider's skewered with an orange sauce that looked great too. We had the potato nachos. I did not know what to expect but they were tasty too. The service was good and they let us sample a couple of beers we were interested in. The bathrooms were nice and clean (always a bonus). All in all we were very pleased and would go here again when passing through. read more

Chimay on tap the burgers are great. The wings are great. We also had the Greek (hummus pita) appetizer which was ok. The pita bread was not toasted and the spreads were blend. Tried the ribs which were ok. Also had the red snapper entrée and it was nothing special. Bottom line is they seem to have the burger down. But the other entrées don't have much flavor. Lunch at Eddie's Roadhouse was delicious! My husband had the Bad Ass burger and I had the Vegetarian Sandwich. Both meals were awesome, even the fries were crispy and well flavored. We ended up there on a rainy afternoon and did not have to wait for a table. The staff was very attentive and our waitress was knowledgeable about the many beers they had available. Excellent burgers! Pretty sure they utilize sustainable, local sources. Good artisan brews. Only negative is that the acoustics are crazy loud. A toddler was screaming for attention, and in stead of asking parents to tone it down, staff encouraged the child by laughing and clapping, and, of course the child continued to screech for his audience. I suspect the staff knew the parents; they have a reputation for playing favorites.... Our party of 6 could not wait to exit!!!! read more

Okay, first time here....As an appetizer I ordered the Mexican street corn. It was very dry like it had been sitting around for a while. I ordered the hanger steak med. rare for my entree, as did one of my friends. Hers was cooked perfectly, pink in the middle...mine kinda grey. The waiter said that it was that way b/c it was marinated in balsamic.??? I pointed out that my friend had the same exact item, asked to be prepared the same way and her's was fine, only then did he offer to have another one cooked. Kind of spoiled having dinner TOGETHER. The second steak came out perfect. When the waiter returned, I asked if he could wrap up the remainder of my dinner. My other friend who paid $30. for a rib eye asked for the same thing. She still had 1/2 of her meal left. The waiter threw it out. He said he didn't know. He said I'll have them cook another, but it would have taken too long and it was getting late. Personally, I think the manager should have only charged her for 1/2 of the meal b/c of his mistake, but they didn't make the gesture. (It was literally half.) I thought it was a cool place, but the jury is still out on whether I would recommend or return this place. read more

I have been going to Eddies since they opened and could not be happier with this fantastic neighborhood pub. The owner/patron relationship is more like going to a friends home. Eddie, Donna and the rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The craft beer selection is phenomenal and ever changing, giving you plenty of opportunities to try beer you can't normally find in a bar. I am a big fan of the burgers and the Hanger steak. The fact that they use fresh ingredients is pretty clutch with me. This is my neighborhood pub. read more

Eddie's is my favorite restaurant in Warwick. Tonight I got my favorites, the grilled romaine salad and the cornmeal crusted calamari with chipotle aioli. Always great. But what really did it was the dessert: Nutella creme brulee. So much better than it sounds (and it does sound good, doesn't it?)--I told Eddie and Jennifer the waitress that "it's f*@#ing amazing." One of many reasons to love Eddie's: if you sit at the bar, chances are you'll strike up a pleasant conversation with whoever's sitting near you. There are no TVs to distract you, so it's just you and the food and the beverage of your choice, plus great bartenders and a really nice crowd. I've never been disappointed in a visit to Eddie's, and hubby and I have been there many many times. read more

The best I've been to in a long time! My wife and I went here at 8:30 on a Saturday night. Eddie himself greated us at the door. There was a wait and my wife and I were hesitent to wait, but hey.... it's 8:30 on a Saturday... our bad for waiting so long to go out. The bar was standing room only. Eddie even said that he would take down my number and call us when a table opened up if we left to grab a drink elsewhere! I was so impressed! We stayed and stood by the bar. It's such a warm friendly atmosphere and the staff is so nice. We eventually got a seat at the bar and decided to eat there. We started with the cream of swiss and (some name for cajun that I can't pronounce or remember) sausage soup. So good!! Next, my wife ordered the Bad Ass Burger and I got the BBQ Pulled Chicken. The burger came out right but as the bar tender was putting the chicken down he noticed the coleslaw was on the sandwhich and not on the side as I had requested. He sent it back and they made me a new one very quickly. I was impressed he caught the mistake right away. My wife and I split both our sandwhiches in half and shared. Both sandwhiches were excellent. My wife and I both argued that our sandwhich was better. I do have to say that I hate blue cheese, but I sampled the burger anyway... it's so good! I really do like the food here and the Look. Unfortunately I had a recent bad experience and I won't be coming back. I went with a friend one Saturday around 2pm. It was slow there which I liked. The bar had about 2 other couples and a single guy. The bartender was not friendly and messed up my food order, which was beyond simple! She never came to check up on how the food was. We had to keep asking for refills. She was very busy chatting it up with one of the couples. It really frustrates me when a restaurant is slow and the service is bad. I Won't come back. read more
