The best thing about this place is the service. The 2 guys with beards that served us had lots of energy and enthusiasm that made our experience wonderful. The kids totally absorbed their energy and had a good time. The food was amazing too. My oldest liked their cheeseburger sliders with caramelized onions, the youngest liked the calamari and I, the bad ass specialty burger. The burgers were cooked perfectly medium rare. The craft beer list was ample; try the Abraxas! Although it was quite loud, it didn't matter. The place is small with less than 10 tables, and a bar. It was packed at 2pm on Sunday. We stopped into Eddie's while strolling Main Street in Warwick looking for a place to eat lunch. Eddie was friendly, attentive, and all around awesome. We started with 3 hot toddies since it was a cool day and I ordered a cider which is my favorite. My friends loved the drink Eddie whipped up for them after telling him they were chilly and even ordered a second. We started with the gouda cauliflower bites which were absolutely delicious! 2 in my group had the sesame salmon tacos which they enjoyed, the third had a burger she loved and I had the veggie sandwich. The truffle fries that we ordered with our sandwiches were absolutely delicious! My sandwich could have used a little more veggies in comparison to the thickness of the roll it was on. We order takeout from Eddie's all the time and I adore the Bad Ass burger. I could easily live on that meal. My family has tried all the other speciality burgers and loved them as well - they have very unusual but delicious choices for hamburgers. Their overall menu is very eclectic and so far everything we're tried has been good...although very different if you're expecting basic pub food. They seem to have a menu item or ingredient from every country of the world, which I guess makes this place as American as you can get. It all goes together quite nicely. This place is way more hipster than you'd expect for a name that sounds like a truck stop, however, I guess that's pretty hipster in itself. It's packed with people of all ages almost every night it's open, which is why I'm grateful they have takeout. My one gripe is their very limited hours. They cater to weekenders. As someone who's lazy and hates cooking seven days a week, I'd appreciate being able to order my favorite burger every day of the week, not just weekends. read more

Moved onto a pulled pork street corn taco that was flavorful and filled with fresh ingredients. Finished my evening with watermelon fried chicken sandwich that was filled with homemade buratta! Our food took an hour and 20 minutes. 2 of us got burrata - ice cold (supposed to be room temp.) and the balsamic was very thick and sweet . It was more of an ice cream sundae than a burrata dish. The other people with us got the salmon burgers - so dry that they asked for something to add , like dip - they got aioli and actually got charged for a spoonful of aioli. Then the waiter threw away our leftovers that were in a box . When brought to his attention he offered to have a new one made , but it was taking FORVER and we had already been there 2 hours. We left, wasn't worth it. So disappointing , the whole experience ! I asked what the deal was and they said they were short a manager, a cook , and waitstaff. I can see why! Nice little Gastropub right in the cool downtown area of Warwick. Stopped by with some good friends for a nice late-lunch on a recent weekend. Were seated promptly and the drinks arrived promptly. I ordered the salted caramel imperial stout and it was delicious! My younger daughter and i decided to order two meals and share (always a great call!). First up was the steak frites, which were their version of Poutine. The Gorgonzola cheese sauce on top was bitey and pungent and the meat came in large chunks atop the crisp fries. Yummers! Next up was the Cobb sandwich...it was creamy with sliced avocado in it adding to the creamy texture along with the other sandwich toppings. A cool vibe, good drinks and very solid eats. This place is worth waiting and going out of your way to visit. Everything g we tried was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy and small. The only downside was they seemed rather disorganized with seating and scheduling tables. They don't take reservations and have no way of numbering who gets their first so plan ahead. We visited in fall so Southern Tier Pumpking beer was on tap. They serve it with an optional cinnamon sugar rim which definitely makes it so much better! We tried the buffalo Brussels sprouts and the steak frites. They were both better than all four entrees we ordered. The steak frites were surprisingly amazing. I'm not sure what the sauce was but I'll be dreaming of it for a long time. I ordered the beet and burrata salad and it was refreshing and lite. Both fresh and pickled beets. My cousin lives in Warwick, so we came to Eddie's for dinner. The restaurant is pretty tiny so you're sort of right on top of the other diners. It was a little uncomfortable, but what are ya gonna do? It's the nature of going to a restaurant on the main drag. The service was OK, and the food was decent. This is a good option for people who want a menu with safe items for picky eaters. I got the Warwick cheesesteak and it was good, but all the meat fell out of the sandwich. It would have been better on a roll that was still one piece, rather than two separate pieces - there would be less mess and food loss. Overall I can't complain, but I can't rave, either. read more

Food was of a remarkably high standard. Certainly in the top 10% for Warwick's restaurants. You can tell that the owner and chef put time and thought into what they are doing. It's a limited, meat oriented menu - which is exactly what you want in a place that calls itself a 'Roadhouse.' They strive for an unpretentious informal ambiance - but don't be fooled, the food was absolutely top notch. My exceedingly picky wife was amazed by the culinary quality - as was I. A really special feature is their unique high end 'genius brewery' beer offerings. I'm a big beer person and these beers were stunners. After sipping my hazy NE IPA, my non-alcohol drinking wife ordered her own beer - and drank the whole glass. Never seen that! Service was perfect, helpful, present, responsive, friendly - but never annoying. The ambiance is important. As an older guy with bad heating, I avoid loud places. But, because it was an integral part of the crowded, cafe atmosphere, the volume did not bother me. Sure, we had to yell at each other. But the warmth of the setting made up for that. The music was tasteful classic rock 'roadhouse bluesy' - not just selected on the whim of some high school busboy. 'Upbeat' is the word. No wonder they are always packed with customers. We didn't mention it to the staff, but we had just gotten married one week before... and then out of nowhere they surprised us with a Heady Topper (each)! Stopped by for dinner on our way to the drive-in movie. We had the calamari tacos and the veggie tacos, sat at the bar bc all the outside seating was full. Popular spot on a Thursday evening. The food was good and portions were large. Bartender was friendly but also gave us our space. We didn't get drinks but observed the drinks being made and then sealed into their own brand new can. The coconut shrimp tacos were amazing I just wish I could've fit all 3 in my stomach during one sitting because they weren't the type of meal that could be reheated (still bomb though). I would say the food is decently priced considering the portions and due to covid they've started using all disposable paper. Only thing that was a bit odd was the chicken sandwich being served as if I was ordering to go lunch from a deli but I get it considering the circumstances . Such a disappointment going to Eddie's now. The beauty of this restaurant was their eclectic menu, great service, and deep craft beer / cocktail menu. Unfortunately all of that is gone now, leaving Eddie's almost completely unrecognizable. We checked in at the front door for the waiting list only to have them completely forget about us. An hour later (we saw groups that came well after us seated). When they finally realized we were ignored and gave us seats at the bar we realized their menu is a mere shell of its former self. You're a bar out of chicken wings on a Saturday at 8? Really? We eventually ordered, as we just needed to eat something, only to get fed up after an hour with nothing. And how did they address it? It's that good! We had cheese steaks, burgers and steak frites. The steak frites were to die for and I was wishing for them the next morning. Ordered the veggie tacos with tofu, came with no tofu. That's like ordering chicken tacos and it arriving with no chicken. I asked the waiter about it and he said oh yeah it used to come with tofu but now it doesn't. Ok great, thanks? My husband ordered 2 beers, the second one different from the first but he got the same beer. My drink never came until asked for it twice, arrived after appetizers. Food was blah at best. The eggplant meatballs were ok, sauce was pretty lame. The spring veggies were incredibly boring. The tacos were just mushrooms and cabbage and too sweet, totally lame. What a great find this was driving around on a late Sunday afternoon! Food is locally sourced wherever possible. Both staff and customers all extremely friendly. We were lucky to get two seats at the bar as this is a pretty small place. I had an awesome gin mojito and we shared an heirloom tomato and burrata salad that was off the charts tasty. I had a grilled salmon BLT with truffle fries that was delicious. A couple sitting next to us insisted I dip my French fry in their Gorgonzola sauce that was so good you could drink it! Can't go wrong with that. And since you can never have too many fries we got the steak fries from the appetizer menu. Let me just say the steak was cooked to perfection and the cheesy goodness drizzled on top was heavenly. This portion was more than enough for a meal on its own. Now let's talk beer! Ventured upstate to pick some apples and decided to stop by here from some grub and local cider. The reviews are stellar, and I am so happy that the reviews are accurate. The boyfriend and I shared a flight of local brews, wings, truffle fries, and a pork chop. This was plenty of food for us two, we left completely stuffed and happy. The wings were quite average but we devoured the entire plate. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and the corn salsa on top was so delicious. I'm not too crazy about fries but they were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The service was fantastic too- my server checked up on us a healthy amount of times and gave me awesome recommendations for the beer flight.
