I love this bakery so much! My favorite is the raisin danish, the croissants are so flaky and delicious and the coffee is outstanding as well. A few years back I ordered a birthday cake from here and it turned out incredible, they work with fondant which can be tricky but they did an amazing job! I work right across the street at the preschool and Edelweiss is the BEST! If I work in the late morning, I'll go sit before work and get a donut or one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches. I stopped in to get a cake to celebrate my anniversary with my husband. Usually I would just bake my own, but this time I didn't have the time and wanted something extra special. The price was very reasonable at just $23 for a 6", 3-layer sponge cake with one layer of strawberry filling and one layer of raspberry filling, and a buttercream frosting. Seems people enjoy breakfast . Did not try that. Employees don't know buttercream from whipped cream . Cupcakes were like low end chain store. Not one bit better. Old not fresh. Buttercream? Been here a few times before and while the service is typically slow, the food has been pretty good. Today was a low point in both service and food quality. My wife's bacon breakfast sandwich contained one strip of bacon and the eggs were overcooked. Worst of all was the lady working the counter - she was not friendly even when taking our order and when asked about the quality of the sandwich was rude and dismissive, stating "I don't know, I don't make the sandwiches". She did ask, but came back with a short reply that "yes a bacon sandwich includes only one strip of bacon." You get more bacon on a McDonald's sandwich. Overall not a good look for a seemingly higher quality restaurant. She could have at least asked if we would like more bacon. Very disappointing as it is a local business that we would like to support, but that probably won't happen now. read more

Edelweiss is an amazing place! They have the most delicious food. We've been pre ordering Saturday morning breakfast frequently during the pandemic and they make the process incredibly easy- just pull up and they bring your items to your car. I love their almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and their lemon blueberry scone. We typically get fresh baked bread for sandwiches and grilled cheeses and have loved every loaf we've tried. Great local bakery with a small town feel. I usually have the Quiche (spelling?) and it is great. They serve it to you warm which is nice. One caveat- I like ketchup on my eggs and they do not have any ketchup. I would recommend it for some of the other pastries but have not had anything else there. A close friend of mine ordered a cake from them for a party, and they made it incorrect to her specifications. They made no offer for a discount or anything, simply, If you want this cake, pay for it. If you don't want to pay for it, no cake. I'm not sure if this man is the owner, but it sure seemed like it.
