    Beef and pork tacos

Despite being less than a mile away, I got delivery from these guys today. Because I can! When I asked, they said the minimum was $15, but I get the feeling there might not be strict enforcement on that. I got a call about 20-25 minutes after my order from the delivery guy, asking me to text him the address because he couldn't find it. I had the food in hand about 30 mins after my order, about an hour faster than the Papa John's located across the street from these guys. I'll take it! On to the food! I'd been curious for a while what mariscada (seafood soup) tastes like out of a truck in a gas station, so I finally bit the bullet and ordered it up. For only $11, I figured it was worth a try. The verdict: While I'd love a Cinderella story here, to be able to tell you that this mariscada out of a truck was the best mariscada ever, um, no such luck. Don't order mariscada out of a truck. The only type of seafood in there was prawns and oysters. The prawns were shell on, a sea of black eyeballs and several-inch-long, orange feeler things poking up at me out of the tupperware, and the oysters looked and felt unappealing enough that I couldn't bring myself to eat them. Also, the shells were kind of grimy and gross. I had a few sips of broth and that was enough. Luckily I also got backup in the form of tacos, a beef and a pork. Delish. And eyeball-free.

They're the best food truck in the area. Their tacos are the best in the area. Been coming to their spot for 2 years and the quality has never changed. It's a one woman show and she gets it done ! It's always best to order ahead as a lot of people do show up randomly so wait times can get long. Get their fish tacos as they are the best. Come with avocados and this delicious green sauce

The carne asada with rice, salad, and pupusa with cabbage...Delicious and only 11$!

Steak tacos are pretty good here. The cheese Pupusas are also really tasty. Not too expensive either.

I would describe them as a combination of classic and elevated Latin food. The vibe of the restaurant is very casual, but the presentation of many of the dishes takes it to another level. They also have a wide selection of beer and wine. I have had tacos, octopus, breakfast tacos, and tamales. Everything was flavorful and quite tasty. I will admit service was a little slow the last time I went, but given the weather and the fact that we weren't in a rush it wasn't a big deal. If you haven't been yet, you should go. The colorful presentation reminds me of Palette 22, and rumor has it they are expanding to the Ethiopian restaurant that closed next door. I hope that's true!

Could work on those fried plantains as they were a little soggy. The quinoa salad was good, a bigger portion would have been nice for the price paid and maybe if it would be easier to eat if served in a bowl. The chorizo sandwich was okay. Presentation and bread could be better. We left curious about their regular menu so we may give it a try some other time. Their staff were nice but not very knowledgeable about their menu items. They didn't really know how to answer my question about their vegan tres leches and told me it was not actually vegan after indicating it had condensed milk and heavy cream.

Found this spot through Yelp and after reading all the great reviews, I decided to give it a try…read more One encouraging sign when I first walked in was that the place was pretty full, which told me I came to the right place. I ordered three chicken and cheese pupusas, and they were a great size. I was nearly full after the first two. The flavor was on point. My apologies for my photo because I was already halfway through my third pupusa before I remembered to snap a picture. I also tried the corn tamale, which my wife and I enjoyed a lot. On top of that, I ordered a steak taco, which unfortunately didn't make it into a picture either because I ate it too fast. What stood out to me was the "shell." Instead of the usual flour or corn tortilla, it uses the same masa dough as the pupusa, and I really enjoyed that difference. We finished our meal with the nuegados en miel dulce, something I had never tried before. I was glad I did because it was delicious and a great way to end the meal. Overall, the food and experience were excellent. If you are like me and rely on Yelp reviews to decide where to eat, I highly recommend giving La Casita Pupuseria & Market a visit. You will be well pleased like I was.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of a "random" building, so it might be a bit difficult to find unless you are in the know. Although there were not many folks during my visit, the restaurant gives off a very strong Colombian flare. I originally stopped by to get a drink, but I ended up trying the caserito, which was sort of a combo meal. This meal included a delicious soup, a beer filet, beans, rice, and a small salad. It was quite the meal for only $14 bucks. I do not remember the name of the bean-based soup, but it was out of this world delicious. For $14 bucks, I thought the portions were quite generous. The service was pretty good. Since the bartender/waitress did not speak much English, dining here gave me the perfect opportunity to practice my Spanish. I definitely hope to return in the near future to try more items off of the menu and maaaaybe sing karaoke.

Definitely recommend the chicharrones. Service was on point. My waitress made me feel welcome. She was polite and attentive. The only problem that you may encounter is parking. The restaurant doesn't have parking. You just have to find parking on the side of the street or a small public parking behind the restaurant.
